As you enter HEARTH the senses kick in. Beautiful aromas come from the food that emerges out of the fire in front of you: steaks and pork chops, ribs and chicken, local oysters and salmon, and of course great pizza, all of it kissed by the fire in the wood oven.
HEARTH is a wonderful dining experience, surrounded by fine craftsmanship with service that is attentive and friendly. Our menu provides options for dining ranging from small plates during HEARTH Hour (4pm-6pm) to entrees including daily specials such as Tourenados of Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon and fresh sage with chimichurri sauce, roasted vegetables and potatoes. Vegetarian and gluten free entrees are available. There is also a great selection of local wines and beers as well as a full bar.
HEARTH features outdoor dining during the summer months and underground parking during the rainy months.
It’s a great place to come with friends and family and enjoy another HEARTH warming experience.

Hearth Ratings and Reviews
Our dining experience at Hearth was lovely. The food was excellent, with generous portions. Their salads are delicious and their Thai Chicken pizza was a suprising delight.
It didn't appear to be a busy night, but regardless service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back.
We like to come here for happy hour, but have also eaten from the full dinner menu. The ambiance is pleasant and the food is good - maybe not the best you've ever had, but very good. This time we had the French onion soup, the chicken satay, and the hummus plate. Plenty for two of us and all tasty.
The hostess on Saturday night was a very young dirty blond gal, she was friendly but she could have been dress more like she was at work rather than grocery shopping. Her plaid shirt and bun hair didn't give us the impression of clean restaurant needless to say a restaurant with food at that price. She was friendly but she should consider her wardrobe more appropriately for work, vs. Mall shopping.
I can't believe that we live right here and waited this long to dine here! Hearth is my new favorite place and I look forward to going back and trying something else. I had the New York steak and it was perfect! Very tasty. I love that everything is cooked in the wood fire oven. My husband had the brisket and that was DELICIOUS! That's what I'm ordering next time we go!
Went on New Years Eve. Unfortunately, we had higher expectations based on Open-Table reviews and feedback from a friend who recommended we go. Overall, the service was quite good but didn't make up for the mediocre food. The Mahi-Mahi that I ordered was WAY over-cooked and the salad was quite bland. Solid drink menu, interesting ambiance but some additional thought really needs to go into both dish presentation and menu expansion. Based on this initial trip and having numerous other restaurants in closer proximity, we will likely not journey back anytime soon.
This was only our second visit to Hearth, and I'll say it was EXCELLENT! The beef brisket is especially tantalizing and delicious; portions are generous without being excessive, and presentation is great.
Our host/server "Jacob" was very helpful, personable and courteous as were all other staff we encountered.
This restaurant had a very limited food selection. Although, it had a vast alcohol menu. The price was a tad bit steep for what we ordered. Definitely not a "bang for your buck" kind of place.
The service was alright. Not exceptional by any means.. but very quick service.
Perhaps because, although it being a Saturday night, the place was empty.
However, I'd have to say that the artisan pizza and beef streets were tasty.
Wonderful restaurant, The owner, David Garcia, is the head chef and does a masterful job.
As stated on the web page:" HEARTH is designed to provide an enjoyable dining experience. We are a restaurant known for quality food, superb service and a warm ambiance; a great place to share with family and friends. "
Very true !!!!!!!
I've come to realize that this place is just uneven.
We keep going back. Love the food and casual vibe, along with being nearer to home with less traffic than going to Portland.
We've had terrible service on a couple of occasions. This time, we finally had a good server (Holly.) She was awesome. On the ball and did a great job making our meal wonderful. But, then the kitchen seemingly forgot the pasta entree which didn't come out for a full 10 minutes after the pizza my wife ordered. Worse, it was undercooked. I like al dente pasta. But, this was raw in the center. It's as if they realized they'd missed my order and rushed it. I've had the dish before. It's great. But, this time they just didn't cook the pasta through.
That said, I'll probably be going back. I like the food and all. Just don't expect consistently high quality, good service.
We went out to dinner with our adult child/boyfriend. We enjoyed our dinner at Hearth.
The food was excellent, with items coming out of the wood fired oven cooked to perfection and very tasty.
Two repeat issues that need to be addressed:
Service - The servers are friendly and do a fair job. But on both of our visits, an order was forgotten. 1st visit was our request to have a salad course, which was completely forgotten. This time, the server forgot the mac/cheese side dish which came as we were paying the bill. At least this time we were comped for our drinks.
Timing - The entrees arrive before you have completed your salad. The kitchen needs to allow for a little more time between courses.
Otherwise, this place is a jewel north of the Columbia and a good reason to go to Washougal.
