Jason our waiter was wonderful and very informative about the area and Yellowstone National Park. Very relaxing evening.
Made a reservation and was told my table was not available due to a medical emergency with someone on the restaurant staff. Sat with my colleague in the waiting area and had a coffee. The host never returned and other people were dining at the buffet. We walked in, served ourselves and picked a table. Food was fine. I won’t be in a hurry to return
Pretty much what you would expect from a hotel restaurant. The food was good but our server was not. When asked what the seasonal vegetables where she said squash and carrots, turned out to be asparagus. The restaurant was not busy, the server just didn’t care.
Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. My son and I ordered an old fashioned. Needs work. Too much ice watered down the drink. Food was good but that was after having my steak returned once for being over cooked and then again for being undercooked. Manager was very helpful and took control of the situation. Our waitress was delightful and very good.
We had just strived st the lodge and didn’t want to spend time looking around for good good. We lucked out with a great meal and service. Joe was our server and he had a great demeanour and was quick too’
Our server was really great. I went there for the wild boar, which was very over cooked and not very tasty. I’ve given Hadens Post a try 3 or 4 times and it has never been too impressive.
Great spot with a nice view. The food was very good but service is extremely slow...
Dined here with family visiting from out of town. Chose because of wild game options. Pheasant was fabulous. Elk tenderloin was flavorful but not very tender. Highly recommend skillet chocolate chip cookie. Best huckleberry ice cream on either side of the Tetons.
Great food in a beautiful setting on the patio overlooking SnowKing Mt. we started with the elk tacos which were delicious. The watermelon/feta salad and Caesar salads were delicious. Our family ordered the wild boar saltimbuca, the spinach, mushroom gnocchi and scallops risotto. Everyone loved their meal. Good service. Would definitely eat there again.
Food great, service a little slow, but waiter was working several tables.
Nice scenery view of mountain was great. Ski lodge atmosphere was cool.
Friendly staff and fast service in a comfortable restaurant with a nice view. They were able to accommodate our party of 8 guests easily and everyone enjoyed their meal.
We had the trou. The sauce was was wonderful beautiful view
Everyone very friendly
They weren’t open. It was a ghost town. We canceled and went somewhere else.
Service every time we were there was unusually slow. Not enough staff.
The restaurant gets better and better. New menu was great and service was the best that we’ve ever had.
We took our friends from out of town there for dinner and we had a great experience. Great food and we loved the fireplace and views from our window.
Missing half the staff or hostess on New Years Day.
Their reservation system is a joke, had to wait for almost 45 min before being allowed to speak to the host. Same happened to about 10 other guests. Never ever again
We attempted to go to Hayden’s in New Year’s Eve. With a reservation at 8:15 we were still in the waiting area and had not get even gotten to speak with a hostess at 8:45. When we’re finally sat at a table, we couldn’t get the attention of the wait staff for 10 minutes and finally decided to leave. New Years is a busy night in the restaurant business, so I understand some wait times. However, with no communication from the staff this wait was ridiculous!
Food was great, but the service is terrible!
Worst service I have ever had. An hour to get drinks and a menu. Waiter was rude and terrible.
We ate our Christmas dinner here. It was delicious, and we received excellent service. It is open and elegant—perfect for a romantic evening out. It was a bit pricy, but I feel that it was worthwhile. I wanted the lamb, but they ran out, so I got the scallop risotto and it was delicious and the portions were large as well.
Hayden's Post has a nice atmosphere and great windows with a view. The deviled eggs appetizer was good. The rest of the food was not. I had short ribs and polenta - the ribs were really fatty and the polenta was good, but only warm and tasted like dried spices were dropped in after it was cooked. My husbands trout was doused in a good layer of oil, and the brussel sprouts tasted good, but were fried black and drenched in oil as well. The wait staff was nice and friendly, but it's a bummer when the server puts the tray on your table and asks who had each dish and hands the dishes directly to the patron instead of placing them on the table. Typical for Jackson Hole though - expensive, but also disappointing.
Best in Jackson
Nice place away from the crowds and parking in Jackson. Fun view of the kids ski lesson slope. Nicely decorated. Did not look at the menu beforehand, but it was more of a salad and sandwich place than I expected. Questioned waitress on a couple items and it did not seem she had eaten there. But she was friendly and attentive.
Food was very good and Taylor, our Server was great!
We waited 5 minutes to be seated and were sat with no menus. After 5 more minutes a waitress came and asked what we wanted to eat but we had no menus, hadn’t ordered drinks, and were sitting waiting on a high chair from the person that sat us.
After 15 minutes we still had no drinks and no one came back to take our order - so we left. Today there is a snowmobile race at the hotel this restaurant was at. There weren’t a lot of tables and we saw at least 4 people working. On a day it should be busy, because of the race, we really expected more. We won’t be returning. Our previous experience wasn’t that great either and only went back because it was close to the race.
Pretty good fare, great salads, fish and good bison burgers.
Service was good, albeit a tad slow.
Breakfast was good too, a bit slow, but food was perfect. Great coffees too.
They couldn’t find our reservation, but there were plenty of tables.
This is the dining/bar for the Snow King skiing lodge. It is located at the base along with the pool and a mountain sled ride. The patio was a nice place for an early Fall lunch, but the food was basic sandwiches. Not bad--just not anything special.
Loved the kale dinner salad with flat iron steak! The only negative was that they did not have a roll to serve with a dinner salad.
The waitress has a little attitude when i asked to send back my Ribeye to be cooked a little more. Overall the dinner was nice.
We were a group of 9. The food was exceptional. Ali was our server and did everything to make our dining experience great. Most of us were “locals” who vowed to return.
We sat outside on the deck. My husband said the elk was the best he had ever tasted. My filet was cooked to perfect temperature. Service was good. We will return again tomorrow bringing friends.
The reservation staff was very accommodating. The food was great and the initial service was good. However, one of our party had a special request that was ignored and the waitress never returned to check on us.
Server and other staff were very friendly and attentive. Love the deck. Food and cocktails were delicious. Will definitely go back for other special occasions [although if we had just gotten a salad and appetizer each it would likely have been enough food and a little more budget friendly :)].
Service was super slow. Our meal took over 2 hours and the place was less than half full. Very pricey for the quality of the food. Good view especially for fireworks on Independence Day night. Good place for drinks but I would not recommend having a meal there.
Excellent food and service.
