   We arrived & were told that our table, which had been reserved over a week before, was not available due to a "Kentucky Derby" crowd who were determined to stay put until the race was over. The crowd, although dressed appropriately for the event in Kentucky, packed the restaurant and were quite loud as one might expect. The managers were very apologetic and promised we would get a table as soon as one was made available. The wait turned out to be about fifteen minutes and, once seated, the crowd began to thin out and the noise level, while still louder than,normal, was bearable. Once seated, Aiden, our server, appeared and from then on our service was excellent and the food, as always at Haven, was delicious. We,as well as the Haven management, failed to realize a week ago that Saturday, May 3, would be the Kentucky Derby and the race would start at precisely the same time as our reservation. "Word to the wise".... check "event" dates before making restaurant reservations!

   My wife and I have dined at Haven many times. We’re repeat customers because we’re never let down. Last night was no exception. Food, service and ambiance were fine. It felt like service could have been a bit less efficient. We told our server to not put our order in just yet. Yet, without any prompting from us, our entrees were served while still completing the salad course. I had the shrimp and sausage gumbo which was very tasty but could have used some heat. My wife had the grilled salmon which she greatly enjoyed. It was cooked perfectly. These were minor flaws on a very busy night. Of course we’ll be back.

   I’ve eaten at Haven ever since it opened and consistently had exceptional meals. The servers are knowledgeable, efficient and polite. I had the salmon and my friends split their Alaskan Halibut special. It was beautiful!

   We always love this place and sit at the bar whenever we can. A neighborhood favorite.

   Food was great. Drinks were subpar. Busboy was very rude, trying to clear table before we were done eating, which I didn’t understand or appreciate.

   Great brunch for Easter. We had a super waiter who was very attentive to us while he had several tables to cover. Will definitely go there again for brunch
