Inspired by El Floridita, Hemingway’s favorite haunt in old-town Havana, The Pearl Hotel's signature restaurant offers a comfortable, communal ambiance full of life and steeped in the joy of living, eating and drinking well.

Enjoy Gulf Coast Americana cuisine with Caribbean influences that is also seamlessly merged with a contemporary local philosophy as meats, fish and produce are harvested from family-owned, small-producers on the Gulf Coast.

Papa Hemingway himself would’ve loved the hand-carved mahogany bar, the perfect spot for enjoying an expertly muddled cocktail, craft beer or fine wine after a day of running with the bulls or battling the mighty marlin.

The food was pretty good, but the overall service was not good. We waited over an hour AFTER our food order for the food to arrive, with waitstaff coming over only twice during that time to refill waters. And when the food game, not so much as an apology. Just "we are backed up and I am doing my best running food out". For a Wednesday 8pm seating and a $500 bill, that is not acceptable. So overall not worth it.

The setting is absolutely incredible. The staff were kind and attentive. Unfortunately the food was only sub par for the prices. It’s certainly not about the prices as we are at Ambrosia, Gallions, and Paradis. We ordered two medium rare steak the were both well done. The fish entrees of grouper were overcooked as well. The drinks were good and the apps were good. We felt like it was a must-see because of the location, but it did not meet our expectations. We chose not to complain or make a deal out of it because we understand the service industry well. Overall, very nice setting and staff, but the food could absolutely be improved for the prices. Price is never an issue when the quality is there to match!

Everything we ordered was very good in taste, but the portions were pretty small on some of the dinners and everything took a really long time to come out of the kitchen. Our waiter was great.

I’m giving Firefly mixed reviews. The ambience was beautiful and inviting. However, the service was subpar. We had to wait over an hour and half for our entrees. The food was delicious and lovely. However, when we paid our checks , they charged each one to the wrong card and we had to wait for a long time to straighten the situation out. The staff was not very apologetic for the confusion. Perhaps we just caught the restaurant on a bad day but it it put a negative spin on our vacation.

This has always been a beautiful restaurant. The food has struggled mightily over the years. This is the first time we've been there in years...a very nice Sunday brunch. I thought the food was better than I remembered but still not among the elite restaurants along the coast. I had a cubano that was delicious but it was odd that it wasn't pressed...which is what you expect when the menu says cubano. Salad with it was fine but vinagrette wasn't memorable and it was very light on pineapple and black beans. Greens were crisp and good. Just overall, they need to punch things up.

Great food as usual. Wine and cocktail selection was extensive. Price was our server...we've seen him before and glad when he came to our table. Very attentive and helpful with menu. We also enjoyed the live piano and singing. Highly recommend.
