Booked a table in July (travelling from the U.K.) went to double check the restaurant address on the day of our booking, restaurant closed down! Left without a diner reservation and no one had the courtesy to let us know it was closing - they have other branches that could have told us
This location is closed. Do not make a reservation here.
THIS RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED!!! I arrived with my party for a birthday celebration only to discover that the restaurant is no longer open for bussiness.
the restaurant is closed and has been for a while. I suggest Open Table remove it from its platform. The bad part was when I arrived at what used to the the restaurant I couldn’t cancel my reservation on the app to make a new dining reservation.
Booked a reservation to find out the day of that the restaurant was permanently closed no one even called me or emailed me mind you I made reservation for a surprise birthday dinner.
The restaurant has closed- Open Table needs to update its information.
Made reservation and it was accepted for 6 pm Monday with clients and it was closed!
A wonderful Cuban restaurant providing a warm, lively ambiance for a couple, group or family to enjoy a delicious meal for everyday or special occasions, with live music, great service and energy. The shrimp are delicious, as was everything; highly recommend.
Good. However the music was in the loud end. It was a bit hard to understand the waiter and I would suggest a small change in the menu, so the cuban specialities where explained (mojo etc.). But overall lovely experience, and nice with cocktails on happy hour.
Just heard the restaurant is closing in a week. Makes me sad. The service and the manager is fantastic. Not to mention the mojitos!
Great food and great service. Authentic Cuban food but no Cuban bread just to munch on.
Sehr aufmerksame, freundliche Bedienung! Tolle Getränkekarte und für uns neue Speisen. Gute Live-Musik, dann aber etwas laut. Einfach ein gelungener Abend in Miami!
My first visit to this restaurant, it is in a great location, close to a lot of office buildings , a fun place to enjoy great Cuban food and listening to authentic music, also a great place for casual dining and great place for date night
Celebrated a Friend's Birthday at Havana 1957 Brickell. The atmosphere was great, and the Waitresses were fantastic. Not only did they have a lot of patience with our indecisive group of 10, but they were very helpful and informative regarding the various specials and menu items. The staff seemed almost like a family and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The food exceeded our expectations with such flavorful Cuban Cuisine, and the Happy Hour Drink Specials were perfect. All in all, this party of 10 gives Havana1957 a rave review with 10 Stars. We were not fortunate to hear live music as we went on a Wednesday, but we will return on a Fri, Sat, Sun to enjoy the local house Trio. For those of you concerned on the price, do not fear; all dishes are moderately priced. All in all, we were impressed and our tummies were satisfied. Thank You Havana 1957 for a fantastic and memorable evening had by all.
Good food, quick service for a party of 9 for lunch. Mojitos were “ok”. Would come back for the food.
I thing that is beautiful place but need more animation
If you’re a visitor to Miami that wants to experience “Cuban food” for the first time I can see being impressed by the restaurant, it’s decor, the live music and mojitos (drinks.) However, the restaurant is really all about the ambiance and less about the authentic Cuban food experience.
The wait staff was very attentive. The food quality was fair. Not as flavorful as that which you would get at a real Cuban restaurant anywhere off of 8th Street or elsewhere in Miami. The vaca Frita, lechon, churrasco, black beans and croquettes were all average and somewhat bland. They were missing the garlic and onion flavorings. Additionally the restaurant was way more expensive than any traditional Cuban meal at restaurants located off of Brickell.
We were directed to check out this restaurant from the hotel concierge. Looking around the restaurant it was clear that other “visitors” were also directed here probably by similar hotel concierges. As natives of Miami, my husband and I felt it was somewhat of a tourist trap. Take away the trendy location - and you can get a much better meal elsewhere.
The lunch special was good but the service was not. The waitress forgot to bring the appetizer, she was reminded about it. They forgot to bring one of the sides when the meal was served. To top it off, she was missing most of the time. Overall not good service and the restaurant was pretty much empty.
Great place and great food! Way too loud, conversations were difficult when the band played.
Everything was great!! The only thing I wish they would change is their live music stops at 10:30pm. It should to at least 11 or 12pm
The place is authentically decorated, the food was very good and the service was excellent.
The only con for us was the volume of the live music playing, it was so loud that no conversation could be held around the table, so even though the music was good, we were very happy when they took a break halfway through our dinner.
Outstanding service and delicious food!
Hands down the best food in Brickell. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and everything was amazing. Service was awesome, food was terrific and the band was great.
Celebrating a friend’s birthday. The food and service were great. The live band got to be a little pound making it hard to carry out conversation at our table even though we enjoyed the band a lot. Other than that there is really nothing if to complain about. The food was so good.
The music was real, the food was good and the service was great!
We had a group of 12 and the service was amazing. All the food came out together, so we were able to start eating at the same time.
As a Miami local I had read great reviews about Havana 1957 Brickel, I chose this restaurant for my fathers birthday dinner on June 9. Unfortunately, it was not up to par to the reviews on yelp, my mom's chicken was partially burned, it was supposed to be grilled but not burned, my husbands' order was incorrect and cold, we dint say anything as the restaurant was seemingly busy and it took almost 45 mins to actually get our food. The real cherry on top was the AC water that was falling on me the entire night, no matter if my seat was moved to the left or right and i was not going to ask any other family member to sit in my place. Quite honestly i would not recommend this restaurant at all, the ambiance is OK but you cant have a single conversation as the music is thundering out of the speakers and the food had no flavor, what happened to traditional cuban seasoning? Maybe great once upon a time but not worth the $200+ bill we received at the end of the night.
Ruben was our server and he was amazing! We were delayed in arriving due to traffic and made it 30 prior to closing. Ruben made us feel comfortable and told us not to rush. His meal recommendations were great and the food was delicious. If your in the Miami/Beickell area, you need to try this place.! Thanks Ruben for a great evening!!!
The noise level was too high the room is not divided so the band is in the middle of the room. I do not recommend this for a meeting. We were going to order and the waiter said no not that it not fresh, that when we should have left. the drinks were horrible the margarita was sweet! The mojitos tasted horrible . The soup looked more like a spagetti dinner than soup. Not a good place, sorry
Nice place, great food, would come again.
All was a great dining experience.
Excelente atención del personal. Música en vivo. Comida deliciosa.
The food and drinks were great and priced at a good value. Also, the service was fantastic.
Our 2nd time to visit Miami and our 2nd time to visit the restaurant. Love the food and the service. We realized our waitress the 1st time we visited the place is the same and she's friendly and nice. If we ever visit Miami, we will come to this restaurant again. Thank you for the great service.
Food was great I had a vaca frita from the lunch menu with mariquitas which were amazing. We were celebrating a birthday and the attention of the staff was great.
We loved the Cuban atmosphere, just what we wanted with beautiful attentive waitresses in long white gauzy dresses, vibrant atmosphere with historic American Cuban photos and brightly painted accented decor
We love this place wow great food and service, we simple love it.
An eclectic trendy spot. Wonderfully decorated with a 1950's era decor. The waiter Eloy was amazing. The food is amazing. The ambiance is full of life. This was a great Mother's Day dining experience.
