Dine on traditional Berlin fare with a twist at Hauptstadtrestaurant Gendarmerie. It serves creatively prepared dishes with seasonal and regional ingredients. The contemporary setting at Hauptstadtrestaurant Gendarmerie features large, colorful artwork on the wall and photos of famous people. Guests can start their course with an appetizer of chanterelle salad with beans or snails in herb butter.                                                                                                                   A lovely experience in all ways. It was our anniversary and it was a great choice. Service was exceptional with nothing too much trouble. The food was superb and the dining areas were reminiscent of a top Paris restaurant but with no formality. There is a range of pricing for the large choice of dishes on the menu.

                                                                                                                  This restaurant came highly suggested and it was amazing! The kids (12 and 15) live everything from the pulpo to the rock of lamb. Highly recommend. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was beautiful, classy yet comfortable.

                                                                                                                  Grand style restaurant that reminded us of La Coupole in Paris. We had a most attentive and engaging waiter who appeared almost magically when we needed him and left us to enjoy our drinks and dinner when we didn’t. The food was well prepared, hot from the kitchen. The meal was a bit in the pricey side with cocktails and a bottle of wine, but it was worth the splurge in such a glamorous setting with a high quality wait staff.
