The contemporary setting at Hauptstadtrestaurant Gendarmerie features large, colorful artwork on the wall and photos of famous people.                                                                                                       Excellent service (from Gordon) who was extremely friendly and professional at the same time - went for a late supper after the opera and lobster and asparagus was delicious.

                                                                                                      This restaurant came highly suggested and it was amazing! The kids (12 and 15) live everything from the pulpo to the rock of lamb. Highly recommend. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was beautiful, classy yet comfortable.

                                                                                                      Grand style restaurant that reminded us of La Coupole in Paris. We had a most attentive and engaging waiter who appeared almost magically when we needed him and left us to enjoy our drinks and dinner when we didn’t. The food was well prepared, hot from the kitchen. The meal was a bit in the pricey side with cocktails and a bottle of wine, but it was worth the splurge in such a glamorous setting with a high quality wait staff.

                                                                                                      We enjoyed a meal here with nearly 20 people. The atmosphere was wonderful, and we had a great time. If you’re in Berlin and looking for French cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant,
