My visit to Hau Tree Lanai was the fitting end to my Honolulu vacation. I treated myself to a birthday dinner at this marvelous restaurant with great food (the apple tart - mmm), on the spot service and an incredible setting. Of all the sunsets, this night had the best and the overall mood with the tiki lamps, etc. indescribable. Not sure if/when I will get back to Honolulu but will definitely come back to this restaurant if I do.
Our experience was outstanding! Service could not have been any better and the ambiance was simply spectacular. I highly recommend Hau Tree Lanai!
Here is the sunset view from our beachfront table.
Miso Saki Salmon was delicious. Ate here several days. Would highly recommend French toast with coconut and macadamia nuts. Try the lily koi syrup. Yum
Hau Terrace is always delicious!! We are always pleased with the great service, friendly staff and relaxing view.
Be sure to make a reservation if you’re going for breakfast, the eggs Benedict is the best !!
We went to Hau Tree for Sunday brunch and could not have been more pleased. Great open air oceanfront restaurant, delicious food and great service. Can’t wait to go back again. Bon Apetit!!
Absolutely perfect for my birthday celebration. Romantic outdoor dining at sunset, right on Waikiki Beach along the Gold Coast. The fresh fish is so ono delicious with various preparation options. I chose the Opakapaka with Citrus Mango with brown rice and fresh seasonal vegetables. My husband had the Opakapaka prepared with a lemon butter caper sauce. Enjoyed our 5:30pm dinner with plenty of time to Uber to the Diamond Head Theatre for a 7:30pm show. Excellent for lunch or dinner. The service was excellent and the menu lists which items are Gluten Free.
I had dinner with my family and had a table by the ocean. It was nice view. But it was busy because Friday so we should have had at 6 o’clock before.
We enjoyed Hau Tree to celebrate our 10th Anniversary dinner. The caprese salad, spinach bacon salad and broiled Mahi-Mahi were all very good. The atmosphere was fantastic under the hau tree while the sun set over the Pacific!
