Harvest Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
I decided to make a reservation at Harvest for our anniversary because it had really awesome reviews and would be convenient after looking at the holiday lights, but I regret this decision. The restaurant itself is really nice, but the food did not match up. I ordered the French onion soup (delicious), spinach artichoke dip with pita chips (VERY bland and lacked texture), and a Caesar salad. (The croutons were obviously store bought and so stale). My husband got the steak and fries. (The fries were great) Let’s just say we had a lot left on our plates and no boxes were taken home. On top of that, our waitress disappeared and we had to go get our coats and check ourselves. My opinion: spend your hard earned money someplace else. It is not worth it to eat here.
Very disappointed in this restaurant. The ambiance was nice and romantic. Biggest complaint is they do not serve any alcohol at this restaurant and there was nothing that indicated that before we went. Service was excellent. I had halibut, very dry and over cooked. My husband had prime rib and it was very good. We will not go to this restaurant again. We did see several teenagers having dinner. It would be a good place for a prom date.
We were celebrating our anniversary. We had the huge room all to ourselves...it was "cozy" for us. Obviously it was quiet. A perfect time for us old folks to enjoy a wonderful afternoon eating wonderful food. We both ordered the House Penne. I took out the mushrooms. He took out the artichokes! The creamy sauce was perfect. We had an outstanding waitress. She was attentive, pleasant, professional and most of all Jill had a great smile. She didn't miss a beat. We owned restaurants in the Seattle area and know the difference between the good, the bad and the ugly. Service is so important to customers. Your servers are your front porch for presentation, representation and future business. Would we recommend your restaurant?....yes...and my daughter recommended it to us. It's that word of mouth thing. The domino affect. We will visit again. Thank you. You made it personal....and that decadent chocolate marshmallow whatever...nice touch Jill.
The food was good, but we went on a Tuesday night (not very busy)and the service was so slow. We had a reservation, so we were seated immediately, but then did lots of waiting to place our order, and then waiting for each course to arrive. Our main dish was outright cold by the time they brought it to our table. We didn't even eat most of it. It was very disappointing for such a fancy place. The girl that filled our water glasses was fantastic though. I never once emptied my glass. She was the only part of the night that was truly magnificent service.
I'm always concerned when a restaurant is empty on a Saturday night. However, the steak I ordered was prepared to my liking and my wife was please with her Penne. The decor and general atmosphere could use some help. The staff were all very young but did a good job taking care of us.
This is a great place better than the other crowded places to go on Friday night. A little more pricey, but worth it if you want a better than average meal. I had chicken penne, it was good. My husband had meatloaf and that was better than average. The Salad Wedge was so good. The bread was hot and the service great!! Great little upscale place to eat!!!!
The food is great! Tom is the best Chef around!!! The food tastes clean, it's healthy and very flavorful. The way they plate the food is kind on the eyes..... pretty much makes it taste better. :)
We have eaten there multiple times and every time the food is cooked very well, meat always tender, greens always fresh. Speaking about the greens... the salads are amazing! Very fresh, with flavor pops throughout.
The staff is very professional and we have always been treated with kindness and respect. The food has always been brought out in good time, never have had to wait very long.
Waiters and Waitresses have always been knowledgeable and agreeable. Just an overall great place to dine.
I think we had higher hopes for the food. It was just ok. I had the prosciutto wrapped salmon. Very dry. But the sauce was good. My husband had the roast chicken. He thought the vegetables needed more cooking and the chicken was bland. They gave him free cake for his birthday. Very clean and attractive surroundings. Pleasant staff.
I made a reservation to celebrate my first anniversary with my wife. We visited Harvest Restaurant during our honeymoon as well. We love the food. It's delicious and yet feels fresh and healthy. The ambiance is great. It's quiet so you can carry a conversation but not so quiet that it feels awkward. The tables are arranged so that it feels private and there is plenty of room for the servers to pass by. We received great service and they even threw in a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. It's a little pricey for us, so we only come on special occasions, but I still think it's worth it. The restaurant is nice enough for a fancy celebration but also ideal for a casual meal.
I was excited to try for the first time. Our server was fantastic, but my salad was quite bland. Maybe It was just what I ordered. I would try the restaurant again, but definitely try something else.
Coincidentally, I was invited the next day for a graduation lunch in a private room there again. The food was ok, we had a choice of chicken, pork, or salmon. I got the chicken and enjoyed it. The people who had pork though, were commenting how they couldn't chew it because it was so tough. The service this time was just ok...we got our salads quick but then waited forever for the main dish. My husband had asked for the salmon. Everyone was served, but for some reason his plate got missed and he ended up waiting an additional 20 min for his food. Luckily, my son couldn't finish his plate so he ended up eating some of his while he waited. Overall, between the two meals, It was pretty good, spotty service though, and bit overpriced.
This was our first time at Harvest and what a find it was! The food was excellent and the restaurant was very nice. Our server, Darcy, was outstanding. She was always available and let us know what the specials were without being too overbearing. We will definitely be coming back
I took my parents who were in from out of town, to lunch, along with my two teenage daughters. All of our meals were delicious. Our waitress was charming and attentive and even made a suggestion for a substitution for my gluten free meal. The burgers were perfectly cooked and my mushroom cassoulet was heavenly. My daughter loved her French onion soup and turkey avacafo sandwich. My mother opted for the fruit and cheese board appetizer instead of a main dish. It was beautifully presented with a lot of good variety.
We live close to Harvest and go there often. We were trying to make a movie after our dinner and mentioned it to our waitress, Joyce. She was very quick at taking our order and bringing us our check. She was very good! The food was great, as always. The price of the meal ($50 for two meals) is high enough that we don't visit every day, but it is a great place for a date night or special occasion. I will add that the menu and food quality seem to have improved a bit lately. I wonder if there is a new chef? Hope they keep it up!
We were excited to find this restaurant so close to our home. We have lived near this restaurant for 8 years and didn't know it existed. On arrival they seated us right away. We received a nice table and the ambiance was wonderful. The decor had a casual feeling and suited our personality. We where excited this place coukd be a gem.
We ordered the harvest salad and tomatoe basil soup. Both were good but not something to brag about.
Our main dishes were the Halibut and Seabass. The flavors were also just average but what made it disappointing was both items were over cooked and the fish was dried out and made difficult to eat.
The waitress was very friendly and helpful. She was very personable and knew how to be attentive without hovering or being pushy.
My husband did notice two of the other waitresses were very excited and looked to be overwhelmed. One was actually jogging back and forth to her quests. We suggest management watch this, it takes away from the ambiance and the casual dining this restaurant offers.
Overall we might try it one more time hoping management reads reviews and works with there Chef and waitresses. We believe this resturant could really be a gem.
