About this restaurant

  • Charming
  • Romantic
  • Good for special occasions
Harvest is a simple yet elegant and charming restaurant, a comfortable, fine-dining destination located in Water Tower Plaza at Thanksgiving Point. Harvest serves contemporary adaptations of comforting classics, including grilled entrées, fresh salads, homemade soups and desserts at unpretentious prices in a beautiful and relaxing setting. While the menu is the main attraction at Harvest, the restaurant's grand entrance and three brilliantly restored hand-painted rooms, in traditional "trompe l'oeil" fashion, create an ideal atmosphere for either a business lunch or a romantic getaway.

6/6/25 My wife and I went to Harvest recently on a Wednesday evening. We ordered the NY steak dish ($46) and the salmon dish ($32). The steak had been pounded flat and was just over 1/2" thick. It was like something you might get at the average diner or low-end restaurant, smashed, overcooked and loaded with gristle. The salmon, which was usually well prepared was dry at one end and gooey at the other. It came with very few vegetables and an enormous pile of rice. We mentioned it to the waiter (very young), he said "he'd mention it to the cook." We spoke to the manager about our experience on the way out. She reduced our bill by about half. She told us the cooks were all new. It will be a while before we return. Harvest needs to find a truly experienced chef to train, oversee, and check each dish before it leaves the kitchen. It may be a while before the cooking staff is up to preparing dishes that are worth what is charged for them.

We were very excited to watch here and it was a splurge for us. We brought company along and wanted to impress. The food is expensive and the prime rib was dry and hard to eat. The ew York steak and shrimp was also very dry. We ordered medium rare and both were over done. The potatoes were bland but the green beans were good. The fruit and cheese board was good.

We have been to Harvest a few times and loved it, but for some reason this time was basically "ok". I checked the web-site looking for a blended soup and it showed Butternut Squash, which was perfect. We were told by the waiter they no longer served it, yet it's till on the paper menu too. I ended up ordering the French Onion soup which was fine. We love the creme brûlée; however, all of us felt that it wasn't the same recipe and resembled one that Whole Foods sells which is made in bulk and mass produced to stock their stores and literally had no flavor. The new dining room they sat us in was great. We loved that, but overall it seems that they have downgraded their food because of remodeling and upgrading costs. The waiter was great but he was put in the position to give us the negative news. I can't speak for my other 2 friends, but I won't be back at Harvest. It just wasn't what we got in the past.

Everything was good except that my wife ordered an avocado and artichoke sandwich but it came out with no artichoke on it. We told the waitress when she came to check on us at the end of the meal and she apologized and brought the check with the sandwich still on it. It hadn't been eaten. We love Harvest but expect better remediation if something like this happens. Thanks Steve

An expected good experience at The Harvest. Service was great, food was good, and timing was excellent. One word of caution, we were hosting customers from out of town, and we did not know The Harvest did not serve alcohol, which was a major bummer for visiting guests. If you don’t have anyone wanting alcohol, you are in better shape!

We love Harvest. The setting is nice and quiet, perfect for those special occasions. This is a higher end restaurant. Their menu is more limited than standard restaurants, but they offer a variety of entree choices at differing prices levels.
