Excellent salad and deserts. Service was timely and a nice, quiet atmosphere--------music was not too loud. I would recommend this as a great place for dinner on any occasion.
We love eating at Harvest restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. The choices are plentiful and gluten free options are available. It is one of our favorite places.
Very nice ambiance & lovely staff. It was my Dad's 81st birthday and they were very nice & accommodating. Enjoyed the food very much!
We go here a lot. Good food, wait staff is good. The meet and greet at the hostess station could be improved. Too often, the process of getting a table leads to aggravation, which is not a great way to start the dining experience. So much potential here.
We had a very nice early evening dinner on the patio to celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary.
We had a wonderful brunch on Sunday. It was very reasonable and delicious. We sat on the patio and it was quiet enough for our girls' conversations.
Service was slow and inattentive; entrees not hot, scallops not cleaned well.
I have not until now been unhappy with the food. The scallops were smaller than usual and not done to their usual perfection. The pina colada sorbet had no flavor. The short ribs were a little dry. But I will go back, hoping they will correct these things and adjust to the demands of a greater number of diners. They could also use a little redecorating.
We have eaten here before but this time the service was poor, waited 40 minutes for food.
I had their black bean burger which was good but it was on dry toast, not grilled for a melt.
We are returning customers, abstaining for a couple of years after we got tired of the harried service, agressive attemps to upsell, and the noise. Yesterday was our second time back (lunch & dinner), and noticed significant improvement overall. We have enjoyed every meal we’ve tasted so far. The short rib selections and salads were stand outs. We love the creative side of the menu selections and the relative quiet of the surroundings. We had an enjoyable, relaxing time on both visits.
Waited over an hour for food to arrive.
The food was poorly prepared. Mine was absolutely raw and very cold. Waiter was so busy, he never came by to check how our table was doing. Also thought it was interesting that when he brought our check, he didn’t notice or comment on all the meals still on their respective plates, but instead wanted to know if we wanted dessert, then ignored our response and proceeded to tell us all about the available desserts. Very very disappointing.
First time I tried this place even though it’s been here for years and all I can say it’s a must try. Absolutely amazing food and flavor.
My experience is always a good meal and friendly service at the Harvest in Oro Valley.
This is an excellent, reliable neighborhood restaurant.
We had a very pleasant dinner with out-of-town visitors. Service was a little slow for a Monday night. It appeared our waitress was serving the patio and dining room. She was very upbeat despite her workload. Everyone ordered a different entree and were not disappointed. A few dessert selections were shared. The triple chocolate cake was voted "best" and cup cake "don't bother".
In my opinion it is better to dine @ Harvest Oro Valley Mon.-Thurs. as it gets very busy and noisy on the weekends.
We go regularly to the Harvest and it never disappoints. Outdoor seating is great.
Easter Brunch was quite disappointing. Usually, we have had a wonderful experience here, but can not recommend holiday dining. We went in knowing that it was going to be busy and our food would most likely take a bit longer than normal. However, it took over an hour after we ordered our food to be served. The food was warm at best and the eggs were not cooked to order.
Good food. Noisy but not in the party atmosphere kind of way. Just had poor acoustic. More of a bar feel with the noise.
We both ordered the steak salad. There were many different things in the salad. It was a very filling meal. The greens were fresh with many different kinds of lettuce. Definitely would recommend this dish.
Guests from out of town; they were very happy
We had a reservation and arrived a little early and were seated right away. Service was great, food wonderful.
This was my third visit in two weeks. It did not disappoint. Generous wine pours, great salads and tempting desserts. Finally a place with clean food options that taste great at fair prices.
I recently ate lunch at Harvest and the food was well-prepared and delicious. My one criticism is that it took a long time for the food to come from the kitchen. Several parties were waiting for quite a while and no offer of a free dessert, drink, etc. was made. It would have been a nice gesture and would help ensure diners will give you another chance.
Sat outside and had a wonderful meal. A bit noisy and service could have a little better but overall love this place.
Food was delicious! Wine by the glass prices a bit high.
Unfortunately this time to Harvest we left without dining. We showed up promptly for our reservation and were seated promptly, and then ignored for the next 20 minutes, not even a glass of water. When a waitress went past our table, I motioned with my menu that we were ready to order, and she looked right at me and did not respond. Not even a "your server will be with your shortly". We waited a few more minutes and left. Not what I expected based on previous dinners there, nor sure if we will risk another reservation.
Harvest has creative dishes with fresh ingredients and good variety. There are plenty of options for non-mammal eaters. And their salads are creative and sufficient for a meal on their own.
In the past, my husband and I were not particularly impressed with the service, food, and value so we chose to go elsewhere. We were especially annoyed by servers who seemed too rushed and trying to up-sell at every turn. We thought the food was just okay for the price. Friday evening we took out-of-town guests there and were very impressed by the change in the quality of the food, service, and overall atmosphere. The filet medallion and the braised short rib entrees were absolutely delicious and very tender. The char flavor on the medallion was the best I ever tasted. My husband ventured and tried the duck breast for the first time ever, and while the meat turned out to be not to his taste, it was well prepared, as were the rest of our selections. Portions were generous and priced reasonably. The diners that evening ranged from couples, to four-somes, to a couple of large groups who all seemed to be having great fun without the loud attention getters. We will come back to try lunch and other dinner menu items to test if this particular visit was a fluke.
Excellent service and food.
I ordered the Gorgonzola Chicken salad. It was probably the worst salad I have ever eaten. The chicken was extremely overcooked and thus totally dry. I had to cut it into little pieces to be able to eat it. There was little cheese, pine nuts or grape. There was not much dressing.
Had I not been at a business lunch I would have sent it back but I didn't want everyone's food to get cold while I waited for something new.
Food tasted great and the service was very good. I had the beef tenderloin medallions. They were well cooked. The potatoes and veggies we're also good. Just think the beef portion is a little small for the price.
Harvest has NEVER disappointed! Our food was excellent and our server was charming and efficient. High marks always!
Would appreciate not allowing patrons to use mobile phones in the dining room.
Very healthy tasty food, fairly-well priced. Recommend sitting outside on patio to thoroughly enjoy this restaurant. The interior is rather cliche. Our service experience wasn't great but that could have just been the luck of the draw.
Great place to sit out on the patio and enjoy your meal.
They have a couple of excellent vegan dishes and my husband said his burger was delicious. It's a trendy place with a lot to offer.
Went for prime rib special. Large cut of meat, but quite tough. Braised rib was very good. Deserts excellent
Everyone was happy with their food but me. The blackened fish tacos were awful: off-flavor corn tortillas, almost no fish (!), sour-tasting crema.
Sorry to say so, but I will not be back.
