I studied the online menu for Harvest before I went, and was eager to see if the restaurant lived up to it's billing. To say I wasn't disappointed is a gross understatement. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms weren't packed, but there weren't many open tables, a testament to its popularity. The food was excellent! My French onion soup was sweeter that what I'm used to(?the onions, stock) but it was delicious to the point of peeling the baked cheese from the side of the bowl to eat. I ordered the pork tenderloin caprese. The generous portions of pork, while substantial enough to cut with a knife, melted in my mouth. I love angel hair pasta, and the sun dried tomatoes, capers and garlic blended perfectly in honey balsamic sauce was a taste treat. My partner is vegan and the large Harvest salad(without the feta) was a meal itself for her. Though the main course was certainly sufficient, I HAD to try a dessert. It came dow to a choice between the triple chocolate cake and carrot cake. I chose the carrot (my partner's favorite) and though the slice was very generous, and we were fairly full, we ate the whole thing. I'm used to carrot cake being heavy, but this was lighter than what I would have thought and of course, delicious! The front attendant said it had been freshly baked and delivered 3 hours before from their own bakery at their other location, and I certainly believe it. My partner's Pinot noir was very good and my house brewed ice tea was full bodied even in a glass full of ice, and not bitter. Same with the coffee we had with the carrot cake. To sum up, I have a new favorite restaurant, and there were many other items on the menu which I can't wait to try. The prices are not cheap, but also not overly expensive, and by any standard worth every penny. So, by all means, try it!

We love Harvest. However, this time there were just too many people there. We sat outside as we felt it would be quieter but it was quite busy and noisy. Service was ok given the volume of people but not the norm of good service. Food was tasty as always! Will have to consider what nights and times we go there.

Excellent dining experience. Wonderful food. I am a fan of the fish tacos - always good. The two others at the table loved their burgers with fries. They were especially pleased that the burgers were prepared to their requests.

We were introduced to Harvest by friends and at the first opportunity we went back with out of town guests. The food and service were consistently good both times. It’s one of our new favs!

We ate outside on the enclosed patio and in spite of the chilly weather we were warm! There are you Bethesda heaters! Brilliant. The food is always fresh and delicious! And the dessert! As yummy as they look!!!

The food was excellent and our server was a sweetheart. We felt she was too rushed. Maybe there should be more servers when the snow birds are back in town.

The food has fallen in quality severely. I have always loved the fish and chips at Harvest. This time the fish was just barely warm and had to have been sitting in a steam table of on the counter to be served for too long of a time period. The fish was basically two plump fish sticks. Fries were skimpy and dried up. Cabbage slaw was just o.k. What has happened to decent fries and good fish?

We've dined at the Harvest many times but this Sunday night was awesome. The specials were the "Bomb" Co fish and fries and their slow roated short ribs may be the best in town.
