   We chose this restaurant as it was a beautiful summer evening and we wanted to dine outside. The gardens are beautiful. Our waiter was friendly but could have been more attentive to our needs and to detail. We felt we had to ask him multiple times for utensils, drinks, dessert. The food was good. We were all pleased with our selections. Salads were all fresh(but we were all served the wrong ones). Dessert was the highlight. Yummy hazelnut gelato and chocolate dessert. They were definitely off in the service dept. WEewill give them another shot as the ambience is so delightful!

   Truly a lovely experience...until the check came. Mentioned that we were celebrating my husband's birthday. A party of 4; we ordered 4 drinks at the bar, 4 appetizers, 4 meals, and 4 desserts. And the house put a well decorated Happy Birthday plate with gelato and a candle in front of him......and charged us for it. I have already recommended Harvest on Hudson to a friend and do plan on going back again.

   Outside dining during the summer on the Hudson is almost like a fantasy land. In the evening as the sun sets & their garden is gorgeous. The service & food is excellent and is like being on vacation for a few hours. We have been there many times & can recommend almost anything on the menu. Also their summer cocktails are spectacular. The waiters know the menu & are great for making suggestions. So enjoy!

   We went a few years ago and had a memorable time, wanted to recreate that and celebrate the Blue Moon rising over the Hudson. Spectacular, did not disappoint.

   If you are looking for a beautiful spot on the Hudson River for outdoor dining, this is definitely a place to consider. (The indoor setting is also beautiful.) There were plenty of tables outside overlooking the river with a view of the palisades as well as the NYC skyline. We thought service might be an issue when we were told that there was a private party in the garden area, but there was plenty of staff on hand who all worked together to take care of us. The prix fixe lunch is a good deal and left none us with room for dessert- quite saftisfying. BTW, the stuffed date appetizer (3 pieces) was absolutely delicious. We look forward to a return visit.

   I introduced a small group of friends to Harvest by inviting them to help me celebrate my 80+ year's birthday with a luncheon. They were absolutely overwhelmed with food quality, choices and presentation, the opportunity for outdoor dining in the shade, the garden and the river walk. Service was also very good. My friends and I will return for sure.

   Great view, great servers, and delicious food. What more could you ask for? It was our anniversary and we mentioned it to the server and for desert he came out with happy anniversary written on our desert. Would definitely be back here!

    The restaurant has a very nice view but it ends there. We where a party of 6. When we got there we where told by our waiter that they where out of at least 6 dishes on the menu. Doesn't make sense. The dishes that we finally out where nothing special. Will not be going back
