New spring/summer menu is great. Seafood enchilada is a perfect addition.
Friday evening dinner with my wife. Food was good, with a local flare. Ambiance was comfortable, not to noisy. Server was very good and attentive. Second time here, first time with my wife, definitely will return soon.
At Harvest Kitchen, with the new Spring offerings, you can go from Maine to Morocco before you’ve even ordered an entree. Try the authentic Johnnycakes or lamb meatballs and you’ll see what I mean.
We went to celebrate our anniversary. It was a slow night (week day), but food was delicious and service excellent. Only disappointment was that they asked if we were celebrating anything, wished us a happy anniversary, but gave no "extra special" treatment. For an upscale restaurant, expected a bit more.
Harvest was really enjoyable for a date night with the hubby. It's a comfortable place with good food. We were there later in the evening (9:00 on a Saturday) and it was still busy.
Enjoyed a nice evening with my spouse. Drinks were great and the food was really good and filling. Our server Ericka was great as well with suggestions from the menu.
I've been in Ohio (from abroad) since 2016 and this was the first really good cooking I have had since arriving. The menu was suitable for my dining companion's dietary restrictions, and it was all made with excellent seasonal ingredients, care and genuine talent in the kitchen. The wine list was well curated, and with attention to even the choice of non-alcoholic beer.
By the standards of NE Ohio this is excellent, and it holds up to dining in the same market bracket further East and West, as well as further afield. Please try this place before being tempted by other flashier local restaurants that have been seduced by overdesigned dining rooms in lieu of the fundamentals of actually feeding people well.
Harvest uses nothing but the best products. Where else are you going to find morel mushrooms or fiddlehead ferns on a menu on the East side? We’ve never had anything close to a bad experience at Harvest. The food and the service are always exceptional. This time we had the crab toast and potato truffle pierogies to start. Both were out of this world. The entrees of halibut cheeks with Anson Mills grits and the short rib with Farro risotto were both outstanding. Our server was very informed and accommodating. As usual the white chocolate bread pudding with caramel was the perfect ending to another great night at Harvest.
Great service, appetizers, meal and dessert. Hidden gem
Everything was terrific—highest quality ingredients prepared well. The cocktails were delicious and POTENT! The sides were very good but could have been a bit more generous.
If lobster ravioli is a special, get it! If not then duck or pork tenderloin. Oh, by the way, there’s nothing mediocre on the menu.
As usual, the food and the service were exceptional
Good experience. We will be back. Many cool specials besides regular menu.
Fowl play at Harvest Kitchen, chicken in the menu is always perfectly prepared. But if you like duck confit; duck breast? When it is available...the best in town!
Harvest never disappoints. Every dinner at Harvest is a memorable one. The oysters are always great. Best shrimp & grits around. The seared tuna with black rice & curry was amazing as was the Tasmanian king salmon with horseradish Demi. The white chocolate bread pudding is the best. Great service too!
Remember you get what you pay for and Harvest is worth every penny. The burrata cheese with shaved black truffles was amazing. So was the shrimp and grits. The lobster raviolis with lobster tail, bay scallops, shrimp and sun dried tomato pesto was out of this world. The duck breast was cooked perfectly with crispy skin. Great selection of bourbons and good cocktails. Service was spot on. The white chocolate bread pudding might be the perfect dessert.
We go there often & love most dishes, short rib, fish,... & Our favorite desert bread pudding😋😋
Great tuna special. Curry broth is still the best. And whatta dessert waffle!!
Ordered an entree from the specials listed by the server. It was a pasta with shaved truffles. I did not ask the price- incorrectly assuming it would be in line w other entrees -expecting a bit higher than other non-meat meals due to the truffles. When the bill came I was surprised that the cost was $45- significantly higher than any entree on the menu. The server said she usually gives the specials prices but forgot to tell us. Luckily it was delicious!
I took a few out of town Business colleagues for dinner and they were really impressed. Excellent local spot with unique menu.
If there is any kind of lobster or other shellfish special, ORDER IT! Everything else is great too, particularly duck, pirogies or poutine. An eclectic place where you might least expect it...Solon
Duck! All I can say is “get the duck!”
The food was excellent. It's locally sourced, (as much as possible) so that limits selections. But items on the menu were excellent.
Busy Valentine’s Day at Harvest Kitchen. Our server Robert was fantastic as always. The food was tasty but it definitely could have been served at a warmer temperature. Had clam chowder special soup of day was hearty but was only warm when served . A baby kale salad which has marcona almonds and burrata cheese and is delicious. For dinner had the perogies which were tasty but again temperature was off. Also had the short ribs served with Brussels sprouts and duck fat fingerlings. The ribs were very good and temperature was good on them but everything else on plate was sort of cold. This is not the norm so guessing the busy Kitchen got the best of them that evening.
The lobster ravioli with bay scallops and lobster tails is superb. Another great special from HK. And WIW! You got rid of the tomato bisque which was our favorite, but the traditional New England clam chowder is a great late winter replacement.
Way too overpriced for the food and service received. Plus had to wait nearly a half-hour after reservation. Might want to get rid of the table in the middle that seems to serve no purpose other than taking up space.
The lobster scallop pasta special is awesome.
We love harvest! Mike Long really nails the flavors in his short rib entree, thenforbidden rice is a gem!
One of the best Restaurants in the area!! Very creative cuisine of high quality, I always have trouble picking my meal because there are so many good choices and always is excellent!
Wonderful as always. Harvest is my go to spot when I’m in town for business. It never disappoints. They always have a great selection of fresh fish that is creatively prepared. The service is friendly and informed.
Harvest never disappoints! The food and the service are always amazing!
Harvest specializes in meat. They were out of two menu items and out of our first choice in wine. Ended up with the cassoulet and it was excellent.
I truly enjoyed my dining experience at Harvest Kitchen. It is a hidden gem in Solon. I love that they have something for everyone. I have a gluten and dairy intolerance, and they have a selection that poses no problem with my issues. I am not simply eating GF food, but a delicious, flavorful meal.
Great place for a date night. Service was great and food was delicious. I love that there are no TVs which seems rare these days.
Well duck confit was my favorite...until the CLASSIC beef stroganoff special last Wednesday. WOW! What a winter dish.
We’ve been to Harvest a dozen or so times and it is always great. The food is creative and locally inspired. The service is top notch. Definitely our favorite east side spot. The sea bass with crab bisque was amazing as was the cassoulet.
Always fabulous! This is my go to spot when I’m in town on business. It never disappoints. The menu is full of great seasonal items. Great oysters & seafood. I had the best steak ever on this visit. A bone in wagyu strip. It was amazing . Service is always top notch. The waffle dessert was off the charts.
Worst service ever!
Will never go back.
We went to Harvest for New Years Eve dinner. We have been there before and it is a favorite. We were not disappointed. The cocktails, appetizers and dinner were all outstanding. Which is why Harvest is a go-to place for us. We will be back !
Did not feel that the food was worth the money spent. For $175.00 for 2 people to eat and have two cocktails, I should not have left the restaurant still hungry. Will not go there again. Service could have been better.
