The sommelier is very knowledgeable and helpful , and the wine list was excellent.
Great interesting menu. Unique flavors. Knowledgeable friendly service. Excellent!
Really enjoyed the hors d'oeuvre, a nice start to the meal. Our next course was a salad and soup that my wife and I shared. The salad had all the right components, but it was difficult to eat, which really took away from the enjoyment of the dish. The soup, french onion with a bone marrow broth, was amazing. We then shared the brussel sprouts dish which was fantastic, although if I ordered it again I would order it without the ranch, it was so delicious on its own it didn't really need the sauce. Finally we shared the Risotto as our entree. I could not have been more disappointed. The risotto was under-cooked and terribly bland, it was a complete failure. All that being said I much prefer Red Feather to Postmark and will most likely not be back.
My wife and I had a very nice evening celebrating her birthday. Staff was attentive, courteous and knowledgeable, appeared to work well together. Nice wine list although some of the bottle prices were rapacious.....three times retail on some is not an acceptable markup. Wine special was very nice but also highly marked up. These markups will make me think twice about returning.
Menu was certainly not the same as you see in many restaurants. Everything we had was very tasty. Free dessert for my wife was nice. One complaint on my part related to cooked shrimp. I had the bucatini which included tails-on shrimp in the sauce. Pet peeve of mine is that I don't want to cut the shrimp free from the inedible tail, feel that should be done in the kitchen because it can be a very messy task at the table. I understand that chefs may want to enhance the flavor of the dish by leaving the tails on. But the tails can be cut off after cooking and prior to serving.
The food was very good however the service could use a little education on the menu and wine selections
Amazing food and amazing sevice. Everything was just perfect. Hope was our server and she gave us thoughtful recommendations, helpful insights and courteous, attentive, top flight professional service. What a rare treat. Would highly recommend Postmark to anyone. And do yourself a favor....ask for Hope as your server. You will not be disappointed.
Wonderful experience. Hope and Steven are fantastic. Will definitely go back.
My dinner was excellent however my and my husband soup wereserved barely lukewarm and my husbands entrée was less than satisfactory
Service and food couldn’t have been better. Kate, our server, went above and beyond. What a wonderful evening.
We love a restaurant that supports live music, and Postmark's having The Faux Frenchmen play is wonderful! The food is delicious, and beautifully presented. Service is attentive, but not intrusive.
Outstanding! First time there since the change of ownership. Truly a fabulous meal.
Mike and Karen
Loved it! Great service, nice choices of food.
After going there I can see why this is the #1 new restaurant in Cincinnati in 2017. Great craft cocktails, excellent creative dishes all served by Steven who was at the top of his game in regards to service. A hidden gem in the Queen City that is a must try.
Overall we had a good experience
Waiter was great
Service was apologetically good, chef was spot on the service issue and corrected
We will come back.
Great place. Food and service were spectacular. Filet and salmon were both excellent. Great venue in Clifton.
My experience lived up to my expectations. Just as I’ve come to know with Red Feather, the team cares and that in my opinion makes all the difference in the world. The food is so excellent, but the fact that every employee seems so invested makes it all the better. Well done everyone.
Unbelievable experience!! Highly recommend. Great food, service and ambiance.
Perfect. Service, menu and preparation, wine and cocktails....just perfect.
Wonderful restaurant. Great place for special occasion. Staff was knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely come again.
The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. Would highly recommend.
Amazing food. Phenomenal service. Will continue to go back.
First time and loved it. Lots of small plates to share and great wine.
Took my wife here for Valentines Day. We were both pleasantly surprised. Postmark served us amazing food and the server recommended the perfect matching drinks. Walked away impressed and happy.
Our Postmark experience was, again, marred by circumstances that we're only partially aware of: It would seem the restaurant was significantly understaffed for the evening. Yet, what was most confusing, was that we arrived at 6:15 PM and told our server we had concert to attend at 8:00 PM (about a two-minute walk from Postmark). At the one-hour to go point, we reminded the server we had one-hour before we needed to leave.
The appetizer arrived -- excellent. Our salads arrived, also excellent. We ordered a beer, two signature cocktails and a $50 bottle of wine. The drinks took a bit longer than would be expected to arrive -- but the signature cocktails were excellent and the beer and wine were also exceptional.
We had ordered (for a party of three): Trout, Chicken, and Filet Mignon entrees, off the menu. We're confident they would have been excellent, but they never came. We had to leave for our concert at 7:55 PM. We paid our $130 tab plus a 20% tip (the server, we believed, was not at fault for the "Slow Food" preparation. For us, there were two failures: The server did not tell us the meal could not be ready in time; and, we had somewhat of a similar "failure to finish" in September of 2017. The food, environment, ambiance, service, and noise level are, overall, excellent. This experience was so off-putting that one of our party said: "never again." I'm willing to give them another try as the place has its charms and the food when it comes, is very good to excellent. In short: Be guided appropriately.
Food was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the whimsical play on many traditional dishes. The wine list was varied with a nice selection, and our server was wonderful to answer any questions, or find out the answer for us since my date had a gluten allergy. The dining room was beautiful, but it's open concept on a busy night, makes for a rather loud experience. Also do keep in mind though the food and staff are great, be ready to wait a while for you food, or to see your server again. This was our only frustration since we had a 6:15 reservation to dine before an 8pm show that should have been plenty of time for an appetizer and dinner, but we had to scarf down our entrees and ask for our check before our entrees so we could walk down the block to make our show on time.
We loved the innovative menu, and our dishes were well presented and quite tasty. We received helpful and friendly service from our waitress, Hope.
To eat here you must have an acquired taste for food.
Well, that was mediocre.
Where do I begin—
How about a fixed price four course limited menu. It would have been nice if this was mentioned on the Open Table web site when I booked the reservation. If it was just my wife and I, it may not have been a big deal. But, we had an 11 year old in tow—$75 for a four course meal was not going to work for a kid only interested in a salad and an entree. Oh! Our server nixed the idea of anything other than the fixed menu... At 6:45pm, finding an alternate restaurant was really not an option, so let's make the best of it, we thought. Share and share, alike.
We had the least attentive, driest personality server on the floor. Hands down. Maybe she was new. Add to that the lag time between courses and, well, we are headed down hill and picking up speed.
Then, there's food—
Which was okay. Probably not as good as the kitchen thinks... I do have question—why was my wife's steak stacked on a pork belly when I indicated to our server we don't eat pork? Oh, well. Dessert was very good, though!
On the way out, I mentioned the experience GM, Steve. He asked for details. I gave them. Steve blessed me with the Millenial sorry/not really, though.
This restaurant has been good in the past.
Not sure what happened...
I thought the menu was inventive with good, fresh ingredients. Excellent presentation. The server was knowledgeable and efficient. However, I thought the food was overpriced.
All aspects of the dinner were wonderful. Lia and staff took wonderful care of our group of 8. Thank you!
The salmon was delicious without being too rich. Our waiter was knowledgeable and provided excellent service. The wines we chose were fantastic. We live close by and will definitely take friends here again before going to the theater.
Great experience. Service was fun and casual which helped for a fun night, food was full of flavor and portions left you feeling satisfied but not stuffed.
Lovely restaurant, fantastic food and outstanding service. We enjoyed a wonderful special occasion dinner here. Can't wait to return.
Very nice, but a very limited menu
Loved the atmosphere. Food was excellent, wish the portions were a little larger. Left hungry and I am a person with a small appetite.
We had visited Postmark after it first opened last summer and were thoroughly pleased to see that some of the slight problems that go with new openings were ironed out! We love Chef Berstein’s Oakley Restaurant, Redfeather and knew Postmark would also be a wonderful option.
We highly recommend this neighborhood gem in the gaslight district in Clifton. Our waiter, Jeremy was very knowledgeable and well trained. The wine selection is lovely and they pour a perfect martini!
We highly recommend Postmark especially after a movie at the Esquirer around the corner! Perfect evening!
The food is superb in flavor and presentation, though the duck should have been hotter when served at the table. The green salad and cabernet vinaigrette were also excellent despite a too-small portion for the price charged. Expect a noisy room as the evening moves on. Even with these caveats we will be back.
Loved Postmark! I went with a friend and we both loved everything we ordered. The prosciutto in my salad was the best I have ever had. The shrimp scamp small plate was perfectly seasoned and just the right size for a light meal. Best of all the prices are extremely reasonable, especially given the quality of the food. It has a great neighborhood restaurant vibe. Our server was knowledgeable and prompt. We'll definitely be back!
We went here before a show at Live at the Ludlow Garage. It is a cute restaurant but really expensive for what it is. The wine prices are very expensive ($10 for a small pour of wine) and our meals were around $35 each. There was no bread before the meal, nothing. Just bare bones. So with each a glass of wine, meal and shared dessert we spent $120. Had it been more of an experience I wouldn’t mind but it seemed like nothing special at those prices and little ambiance. The food itself was good. Small portions. I wouldn’t need to go back.
Great choices for appetizers and entrées. Love the selection of wine
