We sat at the kitchen bar and spent a lot of time speaking with the chef. It was a most enjoyable and tasty dinner. The soup and the curry crispy garbanzo beans were delicious
This place is one of the best restaurants in Seattle. It is magical.
Hands down the most authentic dining experience and best local and fresh vegan food in the PNW. We go every time the menu changes and are never disappointed. Highly recommend.
We were made to wait at the door for our friend who was parking the car despite there being many tables available. While we waited table after table filed past filling up the restaurant. There was another table that was waiting for there complete party and they were sat early while we were made to wait.
Once we were sat we had to wait ~10 minutes for someone to come by and greet us. We went to order from the happy hour menu as the website states that it is available until 8pm on Sundays. It was 7:04 and we were told we couldn’t order from the menu. It wasn’t necessarily about the price difference; there are things available on the HH menu that are not on the main menu. Half of our meal was now unavailable and we had to regroup.
The food was good but at that price point we expect excellent service. We won’t be back.
Most of the courses were bland. The service was great, and I enjoyed the introduction by the chef, but given the high prices I would have expected the food to be much better.
Harvest Beat is my favorite vegan restaurant in the planet!
Overall it was a good experience. Some meals and drinks were way better than others. I liked the presentation from the chef but I consider it was too long.
I've been to Harvest on two previous occasions. I don't think the menu was as interesting on this third visit and most of our party did not like the kale dish. However, the same creativity in the ingredients and execution were still evident. The restaurant was noisier than in the past but when we asked that the music be turned down, that was done. The wine pairing were excellent. Overall, it was a good celebration of a birthday for the six of us.
The team took care of everyone so well. They were friendly and accommodating while being knowledgeable and flexible. Great experience!
Congratulations to Chef Jake and his team for a phenomenal meal from start to finish! Harvest Beat is exactly everything that a meal should be -- thoughtful, nourishing, inspired and a bit surprising.
I loved the roasted cauliflower and will be attempting it at home but the cashew lasagne with lobster mushrooms left me dreaming of more long after it was gone.
This gem was the perfect way to be welcomed back to Seattle and I'm thankful for the consciousness that went into every detail of their presentation and service.
Bravo Harvest Beat!
I really like the farm to table and sustainable nature of this restaurant. I thought the food was good but not outstanding and the portions a bit small.
The food was amazing - I kept saying ‘Everything on my plate is from plants!’ It was hard to believe because the lasagna tasted like it has cheese in it. My friends and I were so delighted by the culinary experience - it was sooooo delicious.
And I loved how welcoming the staff and owner were - they have an open kitchen and let us all take a look at how they were preparing the food. It all felt very relaxed and like we were part of the family.
Harvest Beat is always so wonderful! My favorite place to celebrate or have a nice vegan dinner out. I love what they do and who they work with to make such wonderful meals that we talk about for weeks after.
A wonderful way to celebrate my girlfriend’s 30th birthday. The education around the meal, the attention to detail, and the sheer deliciousness of everything served all made for an incredibly special and beautiful celebration. We will definitely be back for another special occasion soon!
Harvest Beat is our "go to" special occasion restaurant. We've been 4 or 5 times. The food is different each time and has always been very good. The staff is very friendly and more than willing to chat about any or all of the dishes.
This was our second time at Harvest Beat. They accommodated my boyfriend's 30th birthday and his gluten allergy. The food is always delicious and creative! We love the blessing before the meal; it feels very communal and brings everyone together before we have our own experience tasting the food. The food was delicious, and the wine pairings were outstanding. They are giving Tilth a run for their money. :)
This is our second time here. The food is amazing and the service and passion put into everything is valueless. We live in Florida, but whenever we visit Washington we’re sure to make time to come here. We visited back in May as well and still talk about how amazing our first experience was. Thank you so much!
It was a very special evening.
This is such an awesome dining experience. I have been twice now, and will absolutely go again! This is a great date night, or perfect opportunity for some intentional time with family or a small group of friends. We did the wine pairing, and it was such an enjoyable experience to sit back, relax and chat while absolutely enjoying everything that was placed in front of us.
While it is vegan, I am not, and I absolutely loved every single bite.
The setting is very relaxed, some diners are dressed up for the occasion, and others are in jeans, either fits the space perfectly.
That was a great evening!!!
I have booked this restaurant without knowing what I can expect (I am from Germany and it was the first visit in Seattle).
The food including the wine pairing was extremely good/excellent. The restaurant itself was also very nice.
For my wife and me it was the 25th anniversary and I have asked my wife if she would marry me again (she said „yes“).
I have asked if the restaurant could organize red roses for that and they have really done that - including a vase and a candle light with the dessert.
Many many thanks - it was an unforgetable evening for us.
Beautiful setting for a wonderful date night. Vegan, organic food paired with wine made for a delicious evening. There is one sitting with a pre-fix vegan menu. Best place to visit in Seattle. And look forward to coming back again.
Interesting presentation began with Chef’s overview of the menu. Open kitchen. Guest walk through encouraged. Food was good but for $250 larger portions could be expected. Did not care for the Elixir options which were grainy at times. Light pours on wine.Enjoyable but expensive.
A truly unique high end Vegan Tasting menu experience that you would associate with a Michelin Star restaurant
Excellent overall dining experience. There's only one seating per evening and everyone is served at once. The chef comes out and explains the entire tasting menu including sourcing for ingredients. Very creative preparation with extemporaneous mods...nice. I'm not Vegan but this was an outstanding meal, Vegan or not!
Unique and wonderful meal
The chef’s talk was too long. I did not have to know that he would pick herbs grown by the window. I love simple peasant food of extraordinary quality prepared simply, which I believe is the essence of Seattle’s famed cuisine. This food and beverages were extremely complicated making it difficult to taste the individual ingredients.
Amazing place to connect with local, seasonal food and unique flavor pairings! We come for special occasions and are never disappointed.
An amazing entire eating experience. Went here for the vegan menu and was thoroughly impressed!
Well worth the splurge for locally sourced plant based menu. The restaurant does amazing work.
Harvest Beat does not only have delicious food but also provides an unforgettable experience. From the ability to choose our own table to hearing the chef talk about the menu he prepared we were impressed. As a vegan I was so delighted to hear about the value the chef puts on fresh produce. My parents, who love meat and dairy, were also loving the meal!
Each night offers a new menu curated for the evening based on seasonally available produce. There is also an option to do a wine pairing with the meal.
A fantastic experience and I can’t wait to go back to try another menu.
I am a foodie. Took my boyfriend and his son for his birthday and had one of the top ten meals of my life. The food reminds of Europe: Clean, creative and obviously made with love. We had the 5 course fixed menu and each plate was made to perfection. The service was delightful and thoughtful. But the best part was when I got the bill: Food and drink for 3 for about $200. I was so moved I left a $100 tip.
I really appreciated that Chef Jacob took the time to express gratitude to all "spokes of the wheel" before taking us on a culinary adventure. Some of the best vegan food I've ever had. Please come to southern California!
The most interesting and creative vegan food I’ve ever had. Farm to table, foraged food that doesn’t taste vegan (and I’m not vegan). I loved it! Amazing choices of wine too.
This is the best restaurant I have been to in my 55 years. I was raised a meat and potatoes Midwesterner and I never thought a vegan meal could be good. This place is FANTASTIC! The love and care of the ingredients shine through and the food and service is PHENOMENAL! Whether you are a meat eater, vegetarian,or vegan, DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING RESTAURANT! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! Do yourself a favor and book a reservation now!
I rarely post restaurant reviews, particularly for a vegan restaurant but if you live in or are visiting Seattle, you have to try this restaurant - it was a gastronomic experience from the moment we walked in. From the restaurant tour, being able to choose your own table, the chef’s gratitude speech, the food, the service, the wine pairings, it was perfect. And reasonably priced. A 5-star experience all round.
Amazing as always! Such a perfect place for a date night. If you are visiting Seattle, this place is my #1 recommendation for amazing food and a wonderful, uplifting atmosphere.
Wonderful food with a nice overall restaurant. Nice to see the chef talk about the menu as well as where the food comes from. Will return
I cannot remember ever having a better dining experience. The food was extraordinary. The spirit in the room was uplifting.
Delicious food, obviously lovingly prepared and presented. We sat outside and the weather and the ambience was perfect.
Wonderful vegan meal! It's quite an experience, not just a meal.
