Our overall experience was quite good, except for the fact that my steak, baked potato and green beans were all lukewarm and completely cold by the time I finished. Flavor was very good, but would have been much more enjoyable had it been hot.
Food was fabulous. French toast was decadent.
Service and atmosphere were first class.
We decided to give it a 2nd try. First was shortly after they opened a few years ago and that visit was just BAD. Sadly they have not improved. Very disappointing and easily the worst of the restaurants at Hotel Hershey. Steak was overcooked (ordered medium). Potato soup was gummy like glue. Scallop app had ICE cold pea puree and mushrooms. Pierogi app was just a bad dish with almost no taste whatsoever. Server was very attentive and prompt and the restaurant is beautiful but very loud. Many better options exist in Hershey.
Food was delicious. I hoped they would have more seafood selections. They made the appetizer scallops into an entree for me and they were very good. Nice of them to do that. We had the “shooter trio” for dessert & it was fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Great view and beautiful restaurant.
Delightful experience. View out the windows was breathtaking! Friendly service and tasty food.
We were celebrating 2 birthdays and they brought mini cupcakes on plates with Happy Birthday greetings written in chocolate.
The food and service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant and the Hotel Hershey
The staff was lovely and service very good. The place is in a lovely spot. The food, however, was awful. I had a beef barley soup that tasted like sugar had been used to cover a bad batch. Then I had a completely tasteless, dry and overcooked piece of fish with no sauce or moisture to even attempt to hide the overcooked flounder and dry beans. The cauliflower side was fine but I got 2 and a half florets. My husband said his ribs were good, but I cancelled our reservation for the last night of our vacation because the food really was not good. Such a shame - I was expecting more from a farm to table restaurant, especially after our great meal at Trevi 5 in the same hotel.
Restaurant was beautiful. Staff was very friendly - our waitress was great. The food.... TERRIBLE!!! We each ordered filet mignon and it had zero flavor. My husband only ate 1 bite. I added A1 sauce and it didn't help. I also has a baked potato and somehow that managed to taste bland as well. They were kind enough to give us chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary but my husband is allergic so couldn't eat, but I ate them and the chocolate was rubbery. It was strange. Perhaps they weren't fresh? They weren't chilled so I am unsure. Unfortunately, beyond the bread they give complimentary, it was a total bust. I do not recommend.
THIS WAS OUR THIRD VISIT TO HARVEST AND IT WAS JUST AS DELIGHTFUL AS EACH OF THE OTHERS. SERVICE WAS WONDERFUL. THIS TIME WE HAD LINDSEY AS A SERVER AND SHE WAS GREAT. THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING AS USUAL. WE WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND HARVEST AND LOOK FORWARD TO OUR NEXT VISIT.
The food was awful but the service was good we will not be back sorry
The chicken and waffles was phenomenal, we had excellent service. If you are in the Hershey area I definitely would recommend you eating here.
Fish and potatoes over cooked...dry.
Pasta dish under seasoned.
Service very good.
Value C considering lack of care in preparing the food.
We were staying at The Hotel Hershey for the first time and it was also our anniversary. We traveled with children, both with severe food allergies. I reached out to the restaurant prior to our visit to inquire about safe foods and the chef got back to me very quickly and was very detailed about what they can have and how it would be prepared, which was very assuring. All the staff, especially Kellie, was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our dinner so much our first night, we returned our second night! I had the grouper which was absolutely delicious, as well as the hangar steak. My husband loved both his dishes, one being a special and the other was the pork chop. Quality of food is outstanding! Will definitely return when we go back to Hershey!
My sons 5th Birthday. Food was great and had a nice menu and cheap for children. The service and ambiance was great.
The entree was excellent. Dessert was disappointing. Service was not what I expected for The Hotel Hershey. We were seated near a large party with several small.children who screamed & cried the entire time. This was quite unpleasant!!
After I wasn't able to get a table at the time I needed on a Friday evening at another restaurant, I was easily able to book at Harvest. The food was delicious and the room was quiet enough for easy conversation (despite that there were other people nearby). I would absolutely return again in the future.
Great Easter Lunch. Asked for a table when making reservations and my request was granted without question. Service was outstanding! Would absolutely go back for lunch again. Great place to take out of town visitors.
Very enjoyable delicious meal for Easter Sunday. We spent two hours at the table and enjoyed every minute; weren't rushed, everything nicely paced. First time there, and would certainly go back.
Wonderful service and delicious food
We had appetizers, salad & a main meal. Each was excellent but could have been meals in their own right. Bring your appetite. Service was outstanding
Great food and service, will definitely be back when we're in the area!
Food exceptional, service outstanding, environment lovely.
Our server wasn't told that she had a table and we sat for close to 20 minutes before we received water and bread. We both had the monkfish. It has no flavor. We were very disappointed and won't return.
A good place for a well prepared lunch or dinner with a view of the hills in the distance.
Great Sunday brunch....if you're staying at Hershey it's a must.
We’ve been here before and liked the food. However this time it was off. The food wasn’t good. Dry/over cooked and not very flavorful. For the price you pay...not worth it.
Beautiful view, good selection on the menu, great service. Will be back again. Desserts to die for.
Go for the desserts. They are delicious!
The meals are very good, but a little pricey. The drinks are expensive.
We have been in this restaurant 2 years ago was good.
We were very disappointed with food starting with soup all broth and rotisserie chicken was choking and dried out strings like hair loaded with barbecue sauce to hide it. We didn't order the meal during restaurant week. We left without there to go to another restaurant for my birthday. We will not be coming back to this restaurant again.
The Manager was okay and apologized.
Wow. Service was great and so was the food!
Our first time to Harvest Restaurant. We had a reservation which was recommended and I'm glad we did as the restaurant was busy. Our group of 4 met for Brunch, drinks were wonderful ( a bit pricey) but wonderful. The bloody mary was perfectly spiced and the cherry lime mule was refreshing. The menu has something to please everyone. They do have meals with local ingredients on the menu but the menu is not limited. The menu is ala carte so you may be full after sharing a few of the generously portioned starts or the for the table selections as we did but we had a great time trying many unique dishes. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles along with the Brioche french toast. I don't think there is a bad think on the menu, just be adventurous and try something new you won't regret it. We will be going back again soon as there are still many things on the menu we would like to try.
Everything was delicious, except for the potato soup. It tasted like they left it too much time on the stove & got burned
Excellent brunch menu -- food was delicious. Four different items were ordered by our table and all were enjoyed.
Would not recommend this over priced, bad food dive to anyone !!!!
Our wait staff was very nice.
Every time we are in Hershey, the Harvest Restaurant is the first restaurant we plan on dining at.
The restaurant is very nice. The drinks were not good and completely different tasting from the restaurants inside the hotel. The chocolate martinis did not look or taste good. Food took an extremely long time. Our friends at another table were given free appetizers due the long wait. Our server did not offer anything. Dinner took over an hour. I asked for a glass of Cabernet and our server charged me for the most expensive glass of wine. $17 for a glass of wine was ridiculous when the cocktails are $12. I had the filet that was over cooked. The scallops were amazing. The salads looked nice.
Good food and staff but tables are to close together. No privacy for a conversation.
Everything was exceptional. Really liked the decor.
Excellent meal and a lovely wait-person. She-crab is a must keeper. Delightful experience.
