A good place for a well prepared lunch or dinner with a view of the hills in the distance.
Great Sunday brunch....if you're staying at Hershey it's a must.
We’ve been here before and liked the food. However this time it was off. The food wasn’t good. Dry/over cooked and not very flavorful. For the price you pay...not worth it.
Beautiful view, good selection on the menu, great service. Will be back again. Desserts to die for.
Go for the desserts. They are delicious!
The meals are very good, but a little pricey. The drinks are expensive.
We have been in this restaurant 2 years ago was good.
We were very disappointed with food starting with soup all broth and rotisserie chicken was choking and dried out strings like hair loaded with barbecue sauce to hide it. We didn't order the meal during restaurant week. We left without there to go to another restaurant for my birthday. We will not be coming back to this restaurant again.
The Manager was okay and apologized.
Wow. Service was great and so was the food!
Our first time to Harvest Restaurant. We had a reservation which was recommended and I'm glad we did as the restaurant was busy. Our group of 4 met for Brunch, drinks were wonderful ( a bit pricey) but wonderful. The bloody mary was perfectly spiced and the cherry lime mule was refreshing. The menu has something to please everyone. They do have meals with local ingredients on the menu but the menu is not limited. The menu is ala carte so you may be full after sharing a few of the generously portioned starts or the for the table selections as we did but we had a great time trying many unique dishes. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles along with the Brioche french toast. I don't think there is a bad think on the menu, just be adventurous and try something new you won't regret it. We will be going back again soon as there are still many things on the menu we would like to try.
Everything was delicious, except for the potato soup. It tasted like they left it too much time on the stove & got burned
Excellent brunch menu -- food was delicious. Four different items were ordered by our table and all were enjoyed.
Would not recommend this over priced, bad food dive to anyone !!!!
Our wait staff was very nice.
Every time we are in Hershey, the Harvest Restaurant is the first restaurant we plan on dining at.
The restaurant is very nice. The drinks were not good and completely different tasting from the restaurants inside the hotel. The chocolate martinis did not look or taste good. Food took an extremely long time. Our friends at another table were given free appetizers due the long wait. Our server did not offer anything. Dinner took over an hour. I asked for a glass of Cabernet and our server charged me for the most expensive glass of wine. $17 for a glass of wine was ridiculous when the cocktails are $12. I had the filet that was over cooked. The scallops were amazing. The salads looked nice.
Good food and staff but tables are to close together. No privacy for a conversation.
Everything was exceptional. Really liked the decor.
Excellent meal and a lovely wait-person. She-crab is a must keeper. Delightful experience.
A visit to Hershey Pa is not complete if you fail to visit the Hershey Hotel and the Harvest Restaurant. You will marvel at the magnificence of the hotel and surrounding property. The Harvest restaurant will not disappoint. We started with a cocktail at the exquisite bar decorated in Mahogany and stained glass. The dinner was one of the most delicious dinners I’ve enjoyed in s long while. I had the Arctic char and my husband had the short ribs. Both entries were deliciously prepared and served with farm fresh accompaniments.
Very overpriced mediocre food. Food presentation not good at all. Food looked like it was just slapped down on the plate. Wait staff needs some training in the service dept. Would not recommend this restaurant.
Friendly service, fresh and local food, beautiful surroundings-Harvest has everything
Fabulous brunch with my sister. We shared the baked brie and both had the surf and turf Benedict - everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. I would recommend this place without hesitation and will make plans to return. The service was also friendly and attentive. Excellent all around experience.
The best she-crab soup that I ever had!
I would recommend this to anyone wanting to take out their significant other and impress them in the process. The menu is well put together, food execution even better, and the staff is even more top notch.
The aesthetic of the motif could use some touching up, but that’s a minor piece of feedback. The overall experience is one that is very much worth it.
Paige was our waitress and she did a tremendous job.
Very nice dining experience. Good for friends to get together. Noise level low. Waitress excellent
Slightly overpriced. However, still giving it five stars!
Lovely, quiet restaurant. Good portion size. Great drinks. The crab soup was delicious. Nice decor. Lots of dark wood, stained glass lighting and stone fireplaces that were a welcome touch on a chilly winter night. Very attentive staff.
Krissa the bartender at the bar was phenomenal, as were the drinks. The dining room was ok - they seated people on top of one another even though it was only half full and Valentines Day. Service there was fine, nothing special. A basic Wednesday for them, I assume. My partner liked his meal (7/10), and mine was ok (5/10).
We had an outstanding evening at the Harvest. We have gone there on several occasions as the food is always good and the service was excellent. Would like a few more menu choices but overall, a good selection. Highly recommend.
I took my wife to Harvest for Valentines celebration. Had a very nice time , good food, very good service. They welcomed us in friendly terms and we had a delightful time together
Great meal. Great wait staff. Great for many events!!
The food was excellent. We had a group of 10 ladies for Sunday Brunch and everyone loved their dishes. I had the chicken and waffles and split with a friend who had the short rib hash. Both were delicious, but the chicken and waffles was outstanding. The fried chicken was cooked well had the perfect batter making it taste light. The coffee was also great and I heard the morning cocktails were excellent.
Opened at 10am for Sunday brunch and there were very few diners at that hour. We were seated at a window table and far enough away from other diners to have a private conversation. The restaurant boasts local ingredients, farm to table. Food tasted fresh. Brunch menu items were more creative than you typically find. She-Crab soup listed as a signature dish was outstanding. Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and good service.
We were able to be seated 15 minutes before our reservation. The meals were adventurous and the service was friendly. I do wish though that it was a bit brighter, as my eyes fluctuated throughout the night between light and dark adjustment. The group of ladies in booth next to us were a bit boisterous, and maybe a little drunk. I enjoy the dinner, but I especially enjoy the breakfast/brunch!
Our waitress Lindsay was great. She provided very friendly service and was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu to give us great suggestions on what to order. Food was wonderful as always.
Drinks are very expensive, otherwise service was great and our waitress was very attentive. A glass of wine was 16 dollars- more than a meal.
Food was excellent but service was slow. We didn’t have time for dessert before having to leave for a show.
Fish and chips entree included mostly dry and some hard fries. Both diners found the coleslaw was too salty to eat. The fish was very good.
The she crab soup was very good, as was the trout. An unidentifiable food served as part of the entree was satisfactory.
Breads, desserts, etc. were very good, and the "Happy Anniversary" in chocolate, with strawberries was much appreciated.
My wife and I went to Harvest for our 27th Anniversary dinner. Everything was perfect and the food was delicious.
Food was delicious- rotisserie chicken with baked potato and roasted carrots/parsnips and cocoa-braised short ribs with celery-root gratin and baby carrots. Wines were Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, respectively. Entrees were beautifully prepared, cooked and presented - and served perfectly hot. A truly delicious and satisfying dinner, with excellent service.
I made a reservation for my wife's birthday for 5:30 PM on January 20. The restaurant was empty. Yet we were seated right next to two other tables on bench seating. It felt like we couldn't carry on a conversation since we were seated right in the middle of two other couples, and it was quiet since there were hardly any other people eating at the time. I feel that at that time, with the restaurant being empty, they could have spread out the seating better. And even an hour after we sat down, the restaurant was still fairly empty. I don't understand the rational of this seating arrangement/order.
I thought the experience was nice overall. Seems family friendly and relaxing atmosphere. However, $15 for two scallops is a little absurd
