Not what it used to be. I was there with family 10 years ago. It was more like a fine dining experience. Service, ambiance and food have all suffered. I will not return to the restaurant or the resort. It is shabby and dated. Sad to see something that was once great become so dismal.

Harvest is the best kept secret in St. Charles. The food is always great and the atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing. We often go to the bar before or after dinner for a cocktail because we know and adore the bartender. So glad the theater is back thanks to the Arcada taking it over.

Great service and great food! It is quiet as well so you don't hear the hussel and bussel of the hotel/comedy club.

Everything for the night turned out great. The food was very good, the filet being cooked perfectly. My wife also said her chicken was excellent.

On the whole, food was bland and/or over-sauced. While some of it was good, like the charcuterie, the rest was mediocre. For the price, we expected much better. Maybe we're spoiled from dining in Chicago.

We really like the food, but the service was poor. We could feel the stress of the staff. It was 6PM on a Saturday so I know they were getting busy. We were asked if we wanted dessert before we ordered our entree. Also, we sat there for about 20+ minutes trying to flag down our waitress to order more drinks. The service was much better the last time we came, so maybe they were understaffed. Either way, I would still recommend giving this place a chance. We both had the Filet and it was very good.

We ate here for our anniversary and was told we could pick a dessert to have since we were celebrating our anniversary. I assumed this meant the dessert would be free. We ended up ordering 2 desserts and was billed for both of them. The food was ok, but needed more seasoning.

We went there for dinner before the Buckinghams concert on 9/9/17.
Don't let the outside of the place deter you. Yes, it's a bit dated, but you enter the restaurant through the very spacious bar. Once you enter the eating area, its like you have been taken back to the elegant supper clubs of days past.
The decor is very clubby, in a good way. We had an intimate table for two.
The service is second to none. Our server was very knowledgeable about the entire menu and she suggested a wonderful wine to pair with the excellent Prime Rib. The dinners came out just as ordered, accompanied by delicious mashed potatoes and mixed veggies.
The rolls came with regular and honey infused butter. I could have eaten the whole basket!
As we had tickets to the Buckinghams concert in the adjacent theater, our waitress was mindful of the time constraints and made sure everything come out in short order.
You will enjoy the ambiance of this wonderful restaurant and attentive staff.
We will be coming back there each time we enjoy a concert in the Theater.

Place was clean, food was good a little small on portions, limited wine selection but we found two bottles we liked , service was very good and perfect on timing. Place is a little dated but cozy and not loud.

My husband and I went here for date night. We ordered the meat and dairy tray for starters, it was dried apricots, green bar olives and lunch meat. The cheese has such a rubbery skin on it, it barely spread. I had the hanger steak and the flavor was good, but it was very grisly. My husband had the schnitzel, it was very dry and the egg on top I'm assuming was to add moisture by being cooked runny, but that too was over cooked and didn't help. For it being recommended as romantic and great for a date maybe they should rethink the blaring early 2000's pop music. Our server was very nice, but overall I will never go back or recommend to anyone.

Our server Jeanette was outstanding! But our food left much to be desired with the price tag so high. The red velvet waffles were the best thing we ate!

Overall we were very pleased. It was a Friday during lent so we had the salmon. The food was very good and the price was appropriate for the quality. Our waitress was not as attentive as we would have preferred. She was young and only came by the table a couple of times. However, I was very impressed with another lady who arranged to have a particular type of wine I enjoy taken to Zannies so I could continue to drink the same type of wine all evening. It was very nice of her to go above and beyond. We would definitely return to eat there.

As usual, food was excellent. Wife enjoyed the rib eye while I chose the New York strip, also delicious. Vegetables were a bit weak but we didn't leave hungry. We both would have chosen prime rib had it been on the menu. Wish it would have been available.
Overall, we had a great time and will be going back.

The dinners was overcooked (burnt), but the staff was very apologetic and one dinner was taken off the menu. They also can't seem to handle a rush very well. Trying to turn tables to get people to the comedy show just seems to be beyond thier capacity.

This was one of the worst experiences at a restaurant i have ever had. The staff seemed totally overwhelmed. It took an hour and a half to get our food, which was not great and much too expensive. We never saw a manager, were not offered anything to fix our bad experience, and were late to the comedy show that the restaurant is ATTACHED TO. Recommend ANY OTHER restaurant before going to Zanies. Horrible experience.

For this place being a steakhouse... the steak was definitely not cooked correctly, and tasted pretty bad. The outside was completely over done, I couldn't get past the burnt taste, yet the inside was completely bloody?! I'm not too sure how you accomplish that, but they did. The only thing that saved the evening was the waitresses' service. She was wonderful and comp'd our steaks because of the complaint. Regardless, I wouldn't recommend getting steak at this steakhouse to anyone.

Outstanding meal, great service. Two had steak, one had Salmon and on of us had a sSeafood Melody. Our waitress Jeanette has waited on us before and she is great. We are not drinkers and we also had a 7 month old. Sometimes, when you are not drinking you get ignored because the tip will not be as high. Jeanette treated us like we were family. It was a pleasure. We will ask for her in the future.

PHE-NOM-I-NAL!!!!! Our group of 4 had a lot to celebrate! It was a very special evening and our food & service was equally as exceptional!!! Our waitress, Jeanette, was personable and super efficient plus the manager, Michelle, treated our 2 guests to dessert because they celebrated major milestones! Meals were all fantastic! Two of us ordered salmon (YUM!!) Another ordered the fresh fish & another ordered the lamb shank. I just can't say enough superlatives about our dinner at "Harvest at Pheasant Run". I can't wait to return...make sure that you go, too. You won't be disappointed! PS They highlight the use of thoughtfully sourced ingredients from local Great Lakes farms & Corn belt ranches; they refer to this as "farm to fork". It is a wonderfully wise practice that you need to check out for yourself.

The food is farm to table local grown, everything was so delicious an fresh. We had the pork & dates, it had the best chorizo sausage I've ever eaten. I had the cedar plank salmon and fresh veggies of the day and my friend had the meatloaf wrapped in puff pastry (like beef wellington). Both were so good and so much we took left overs home. Then there was dessert, fried Oreo's and apple pie skillet. I can't thank Chef Tiffany enough for her creative and delicious offerings. We will be back to try other items on the menu. Very nice and affordable wine list.

Exceeded expectations. The food was very good especially the beef, scallops and French onion soup. Our server, Andrea, was outstanding! The management for Harvest went out of their way to make sure everything was right. Cheaper than many top-rated restaurants and the food was almost as good. A solid recommendation.
