Awesome historic home turned restaurant/event space. Food is really good and the staff is friendly!
Atmosphere was lovely. Food was good, service was NOT exceptional.
We love HM especially the bar area. Our service was great and my steak was excellent
Great service! The staff was very knowledgeable about the history of the house and gave us a great tour! The food was delicious. We had a great date there.
Had the best night at harvest. From the food and the environment to an amazing and knowledgeable service staff, everything was on point that night. Couldn’t be happier with our time there.
Great unique dinning experience
Local ingredients are great
Looking forward to spring and summer offerings
My only complaint is the butter board biscuits were too salty - I love salt but by then end of one biscuit they were almost inedible.
Loved the decor and atmosphere of this
Historical homestead.Menu was diverse and
Portion size generous!
It was a delicious experience of flavorful food and perfectly paired cocktails
Stated in reservation we were celebrating our 20 year anniversary. So why would you seat us in a room next to a screaming two year old! The restaurant was wide open and we should have been seated elsewhere. No acknowledgment at all for our anniversary. Wine we selected wasn’t available so a $10 a bottle higher was. Ordered ribeye with vegetables and it arrived with mashed potatoes instead. Vegetables didn’t arrive until I was almost finished with steak. Steak was not a marbled ribeye but 40% inedible fat. Most overpriced piece of fat I’ve ever been served. Manager took the vegetables off the bill but made no other effort to make the horrible experience any better. $140 not well spent
The food and service were great! The biscuit board is amazing, and so is the burger! Hannah is an awesome waitress!
We came for Easter Brunch and will be back for date nights. Service was wonderful, food delish and everything is locally sourced which is an amazing bonus.
We had a wonderful time for our date night. The service was great. The food was very good but expensive. I recommend for a special night out that isn't the same old place.
We were there after the opening and the food was good but overpriced. So after a few years we gave it another try but it's still the same. Good food but still too expensive. At Nashville prices or above and there are better restaurants for less money.
Service was terrible. It took 25 minutes to get cocktails, and no ones food came out together. The food was awesome but I wouldn’t go back bc of service. The manager Gino was very rude.
Really enjoyed our evening!
Biscuit board was incredible
Outstanding! We will be back next month!
Food and atmosphere was great! It would have been nice to know ahead of time that there is a drink minimum.
Good food, good atmosphere and great service. I will be back!
Bday dinner/girls night out. Loved all of it. Very enjoyable.
Delicious meal and delightful ambience. Love the history of this place and how they’ve creatively blended the old with the new in the decor. Ask to take a tour before or after your meal. They have employees well-versed on the history of the house and the area that are more than happy to share. This is not just a meal, but an event!
Was disappointed that two menu items were not available for dinner at 6:15. The menu is small to have run out of two items. We had a good time and food was good.
Food was GREAT, dessert was 'not' for the price as someone else mentioned before. Upon making the reservation on Open Table, I noted it was for a special occasion, our "anniversary." Someone from the restaurant called the day before and asked if it was for any special occasion. So I told her again. She also asked if we had any food allergies so I explained and she said "please tell that to the waiter." It felt like I had to keep repeating myself, just to have brunch! Upon arriving on time, our table was not ready. What is the point of making a reservation? I wondered there also. Nobody ever mentioned about our "anniversary" either. It was not expected and not a big deal to us, but then why did you ask?
Great historic home. Good food great service.Served as a hospital during civil war.
Awesome service great food.
Excellent everything! Such great food and the history behind this place makes it truly unique.
The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. A solid 4 star for country dining.
Fairly nice experience but fell short of my expectations.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service! We went for a birthday dinner, and it was our first time there. We look forward to going back and recommending it to others!
Awesome environment. The food is amazing. I loved hearing about the history of the property,
Very good experience. Diverse menu and solid service
Server did a great job, very personable and attentive. We had a group of 7, and she was spot on allowing us to eat, but checking on drinks and cleaning table without being intrusive.
My wife and I wait till the day after Valentines Day to celebrate this occasion so we can avoid the busyness. So, driving past Harvest at Homestead almost everyday to get home and my wife commenting about how she wants to check this place out, I thought that this would be a treat. When we arrived, there were not a lot of cars in the parking lot which made parking amazing. As you walk up to this converted plantation house that was built in 1809, you walk into this very romantically lit foyer. Thinking this was going to be great for our date night, we were unfortunately escorted to a table out in bar area that is a detached building. Don't get me wrong, the bar was an amazing venue, if that was the mood you were looking for. Thinking we were not "dressed" appropriately enough to sit in the "main house", I did not ask if we could be seated differently and besides, we had already been greeted by Jessica, who was amazing! Food was amazing...farm to table! The fillet was cooked perfectly and the scallops were delicious! And if you go, order a side of the bacon jam! Overall, great experience and we will go back, but will ask to be seated in a quieter table were my wife and I can have a more intimate meal.
The evening was nice, but the food was not as good as I had expected. Not bad. Just short of really good.
It was our first time eating at Homestead Manor! It’s a really neat restaurant with a cool history, I love the ambiance and the “slow living” feel.
Dim lighting. Like, too dim.
Bland fried chicken. Was just off in every way. Have eaten here before and it was amazing. Let down this trip.
With exception of the outstanding service and unique ambiance I was not impressed during our experience at Homestead Manor. We were sat in the trophy room which was so cold my wife had to borrow my coat for the entire dining experience.
We started with the sausage balls which were dry and textured like corn bread than sausage. My wife had the fillet which was tough dry and lacked in flavor. I had the gumbo which was of a very small portion and tasted un-fresh and lacked in Cajun spices. We were fortunate to dine on a Sunday night when bottles of wine were half price so that was a unexpected cost savings. With the total bill of $110 ($135 w/ tip) we did not feel it was worth the money.
Enjoy the food, the tour of the home and our server Michelle was terrific!!
Homestead Manor is truly a gem restaurant. The servers provide a history of the estate, the drink menu pairs wonderfully with the ambiance, and the food was delicious. We started with the Butter Drop Biscuit Board, which was warm, buttery, and fun to eat. For dinner we both tried the Bourbon chop and weren't disappointed. Can't wait to go back, hopefully explore a new dining room!
Very nice place! The staff was attentive and the food was fantastic! We met the owners who were very nice and you could tell they were proud of their place. I will defiantly be back. I hear the trout is awesome.
