Food was great, service great too. We Accidentally left our credit card on the table and got a phone call from the restaurant within minutes while we were heading home in an Uber and were able to quickly go back to the restaurant to get the card. Thank you to everyone at Haru!

Simply put the food was inedible. Without exaggeration I have to say that grab and go sushi at any somewhat reputable lunch venue is better than what they served.

I have been going to Haru for years though it has been a few months since I was last there. I usually have a good experience. Today was definitely an off day for them. The service was okay but not up to the usual standards. My guest had the chicken bento box, she couldn’t eat the chicken. Hoping this was a one off bad day for Haru.

I have been to this location before and had great experiences. This time however my party waited a very long time before we received food. Normally you are offered a warm towel which we did not receive. The waiter never checked on us and when my friend asked the food server for a fork he gave a sigh and reluctantly provided one. Don’t think I will be returning in the future.

I rated 3 stars because the waiter was very aggressive in pushing for drinks appetizers, etc. It spoiled the dining experience.

Service was incredibly slow. We waited at least 15 minutes before we were even approached and asked if we wanted a drink. The waiter was rude and unfriendly from the start. Food was ok but server gave the fried rice we ordered to the table behind us by mistake. When we were finished with our meal and still didn’t have our fried rice, we asked the waiter for it. He then charged us for it despite having it delivered after our meal. When my husband asked the waiter to take it off the menu, he gave us an extremely rude and displeasured look and slammed the new bill on the table. Way too expensive for average food and a poor dining service experience.

I recommend Haru Sushi for Drinks, the food was bad and I had a Butterfly Moscito ( Psychodidae) on my Sushi, which is pretty disgusting, because they appear in spaces that don't clean the drainage.....

Have been going here for years. Food is great, fish is fresh and delicious. However they gave us all regular menus and needed to ask for the lunch special menu and then reluctantly handed it over and they only gave us one for three people to look at. Hmmm - the lunch special is a good deal so make sure to ask for it!

Quiet environment, tastefully decorating and responsive wait staff. Add that to expertly prepared food, you have a winner. Generous portions and a well stocked menu. All of this at reasonable prices, I will be back again.

Nice, quiet meal on a cold, sleepy Wednesday night in February. Ordered miso soup and a couple of rolls: the lobster roll, sweet but slightly in distinct; and a “Kiss of Fire,” which delivered delicious sizzling sensations. Got out under $50. Not bad.

Haru is ideal place for a quick business or lunch on Wall Street. The Bento Box lunch specials are a great deal and the food is very good.

I frequented this restaurant in the past and lunch was always crowded and "too" busy, which made me want to go there. I figured, the food must be good - and it was. Fast forward two years, restaurant was only half occupied and unsure why. Service was okay, food was good, menu did change and not much selection. Maybe the popularity went down because of the menu change? Service was rushed and unsure why, it's not like anyone was waiting. And when the restaurant is half full, why would the hostess seat you by the service station?

Early valentines lunch because my wife needed to travel for work. Everything was good. Only issue was I think they forgot about our soups. So we had to ask for them and then the sushi came before we were finished with the soup.

Food is great, especially the hand rolls; They have a great selection. Every time I've been, the quality is always fantastic, noise levels are reasonable for business conversations, and seating isn't too tight.

Business lunch. We were seated upstairs which was very nice and noise level was easy to talk without yelling. Appetizers came quickly and were followed quickly with entrees. Appetizers were Tuna Poke, Edimame, and Shishito peppers. Entrees were Chicken Katsu, Sashimi and Sushi and sashimi. Portion size was great and food was fresh and excellent. I would definitely recommend.

I used to be a frequent patron of Haru UES so I am familiar with the food and the general value of the restaurant. Basically I don’t mind paying above average price if the ambience is right. Unfortunately the one at wall at location was very disappointing. The food was okay but the ambience is not so great. A huge chunk of the leather on the booth seat that was given to us was broken/missing. Kind of embarrassing for a restaurant changing quite a bit of cash for lunch. So much to say that I won’t be frequenting that place again.

Decent sushi that is pretty overpriced for what it is. Fine option if you're in FiDi but if you're able to go to another area, that's definitely a better bet

Love the Time Square location. Unfortunately this one was terrible! Food tasted old, cold and left us with stomach issues. Steak wasn’t cooked as ordered. Such a disappointment!

Had 6 of us and were seated upstairs for a business lunch. Service. Was. Sooooo. Slow. Food was good as always but don’t come here for a quick bite or for a swift lunch. I was lucky that my business guess I had the time and we’re very patient. But we were starving and it started to get very frustrating..
