Sushi always good, first beverage always seems to take too long to arrive. If wait staff is more attentive, would be easier to drink more.
Missing red bean ice cream...please bring back to menu...mochi red bean isn't the same.... thanks
I have loved this restaurant since I was brought by colleagues for my birthday some years ago. This birthday lunch with my son was great as well.
The food was delicious and fulfilling. The services was substandard. The restaurant was not packed and we flagged the waiter for about five minutes before being noticed to request drink refill and extra ginger. Other than that, dinner was delicious.
Excellent sushi, rolls and atmosphere.
Food not fresh. Calamari was clearly frozen, then deep fried. The duck tasted like it was 4 days old. Sashimi was fair at best. Very disappointed, can’t recommend
Fast service for businesd lunch and nice open space. The service is good. You have to like sushi otherwise the choices are limited.
Well decorated and well kept, convenient to Wall St., noise level low enough for a conversation or business meeting. Good service, and the sushi is very good as well.
Great food with good variety. Asian fusion. However, service is generally bad because of excessive crowds.
Great meal at a great place. Will visit again soon!
One of my favorite downtown spots.
The food and ambiance was good I would have maybe liked a little more attention from the wait staff however.
This is the he third Haru location I have been to and the quality of the food and service remains consistent. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is great.
Dining at Haru was everything I thought it would be to celebrate my son's 27th Birthday.
The timing of food wasn't too good. The appetizers were lukewarm on both lunches I had there. Entree were slightly warmer. Food tastes very good, though. The service was also good considering how busy lunchtime is.
The best sushi in NYC hands down.... it's almost impossible to eat other sushi now!!
Overall great service. Food and drinks were excellent.
Eat at the wall street Haru, for lunch, about twice a month. Food is very good and the service is good. Not cheap. Sushi is the best in wall street area
Makings of a really good restaurant... and then you get sticky sweet sauce all over your filet mignon... not optimal. Still, good value and great bar
Food was excellent but the restaurant was a bit dark for me, couldn't read the menu well. Also at happy hour there were only selected drinks (I think all drinks should be included in happy hour. Overall, not bad at all, would certainly visit again.
It is a very enjoyable place and the food selection is great. The plates come out from the kitchen looking very appetizing because of the art work they do on it. Not only it’s tasty, but its also eye pleasing. The service is great, no rush, and waitress are very pleasant and helpful.
Sushi was tasty, however, the portions were very small and overpriced. Service was average - for example we had to ask for refills of tea and the sushi took a long time to arrive. The location is good and the ambiance is nice, however, overall I'd recommend seeking out another sushi bar.
Overall disappointed with the actual taste and flavor compared to the reputation it didn’t compare, unfortunately disappointed with the dinner.
love the new truffles appetizer! service was wonderful. my 12 yr old loves the filet mignon on a skewer appetizer but it is no longer on the menu. Our waiter had the kitchen prepare it for him anyway. can't wait to go back
Sehr leckere Speisen, Sushi und Tataki Tadellos. Service nett und aufmerksam.
Love Harus but this visit the services was extremely slow
Impossible to get food during lunch time. We waited for over an hour, on Thursday lunchtime, to get appetizers. I ended up needing to leave, still hungry...
Great quality sushi and creative seasonal specials
The address in Opentable is wrong. The restaurant is on Wall Street Court but the map pin drops at Wall Street and Broadway. It’s not even close.
Haven’t been to a Haru for a while - forgot how good it is.
Fantastic sushi! Great menu. Will definitely return.
Fast and efficient!
I would recommend this place.
I know you like a lot of words, however the only word to describe Haru is phenomenal!
Great sushi and happy hour! I learned about Haru about a month ago and I've been there three times already! The service can be a bit slow, so plan for at least an hour and a half. I would still highly recommend.
The food was great, but the service was abysmal. First they ignored us that we needed one more chair, so we finally got one ourselves. Then they forgot to bring us an extra place setting, so we took one ourselves. Then they ignored us for a while after we had finished eating. Then my boss tried to order dessert and they brought us the bill. We had a nice lunch because of the company, and the food was good, but the service was terrible. The restaurant wasn't even crowded (the day before Thanksgiving - and a late lunch), so I'm not sure what the deal was.
Front of the house needs work. Hostess needs training. Needs to be ‘nice’
Haru never disappoints! The food is consistent at every Haru. Delicious interesting sushi rolls.
Haru has a great list of special deals for lunch. Freshest sushi around.
There are several Harus in Manhattan. I don't know if they are all related or not, but I do know that this Haru is not as good as that in mid-town. Too bad too, because the location is great and space is really chic. Typically financial district restaurants are great, but not so here. The sushi was just fair (honestly I get fresher fish and better presentation in Pennsylvania) and so was the service . The waiter didn't like Sake or Raw fish, so he could not make any recommendations. Weird choice of occupation I thought. The place was kind of dead even though we were there at 6:30 on a Saturday night, and the selection was pretty standard. There wasn't anything to rave about.
