My waiter was pleasant. My only issue was I asked for my rolls to be wrapped in seaweed only no rice. He returned with it only wrapped in rice. When I brought it to his attention he said yea it's correct. I said but I asked for it to be wrapped in seaweed and omit the rice. If it could not be customized you should have said so.

I have to admit that I’m a big fan of Haru sushi Midtown, and in my naivety assumed that they were all of the similar quality. As far as food goes, so far, that’s true, as I’ve dined at 3 locations.
The Haru sushi in Midtown has a really nice decor, good ambience, and is not too loud even when it’s full. That’s because somebody had the good sense to acoustically designed the place in a smart way. I did not see this at the Wall Street location, which needs a makeover. The chairs have rips in them, the edges are stressed and damaged. The place looks like somebody’s holding onto their cash before it closes down. All the more surprising that this is on Wall Street, the center of money.
I like the staff, the food was really good, but ambience was too loud with too much disco music (which I just don’t get in a Japanese restaurant). Haru midtown is a much better overall experience.

A reliably very good Japanese restaurant. Excellent miso soup, bento box lunches. Nice booths by the window. A great date with my wife.

The service and the food were excellent. They were very accommodating. They were quite busy, but yet the food was served in a very short time. I have eaten here a number of times previously and have always had a very pleasant dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I came for a business meeting and was impressed with the food and service. Hands down one of the best Chirashi's I've come to try. I highly recommend.

Love Haru although each time I visit I have the same feeling about the restrooms, they are just not clean. Food is always good, wine a bit on the expensive side (by the glass).

I like the food and the lunch specials. My issue is that both times I have been there recently, we felt chased out when we finished. There were plenty of tables available. Noise level is a bit high, but that's the space.

Food was great, service great too. We Accidentally left our credit card on the table and got a phone call from the restaurant within minutes while we were heading home in an Uber and were able to quickly go back to the restaurant to get the card. Thank you to everyone at Haru!

Simply put the food was inedible. Without exaggeration I have to say that grab and go sushi at any somewhat reputable lunch venue is better than what they served.

I have been going to Haru for years though it has been a few months since I was last there. I usually have a good experience. Today was definitely an off day for them. The service was okay but not up to the usual standards. My guest had the chicken bento box, she couldn’t eat the chicken. Hoping this was a one off bad day for Haru.

I have been to this location before and had great experiences. This time however my party waited a very long time before we received food. Normally you are offered a warm towel which we did not receive. The waiter never checked on us and when my friend asked the food server for a fork he gave a sigh and reluctantly provided one. Don’t think I will be returning in the future.

I rated 3 stars because the waiter was very aggressive in pushing for drinks appetizers, etc. It spoiled the dining experience.

Service was incredibly slow. We waited at least 15 minutes before we were even approached and asked if we wanted a drink. The waiter was rude and unfriendly from the start. Food was ok but server gave the fried rice we ordered to the table behind us by mistake. When we were finished with our meal and still didn’t have our fried rice, we asked the waiter for it. He then charged us for it despite having it delivered after our meal. When my husband asked the waiter to take it off the menu, he gave us an extremely rude and displeasured look and slammed the new bill on the table. Way too expensive for average food and a poor dining service experience.

I recommend Haru Sushi for Drinks, the food was bad and I had a Butterfly Moscito ( Psychodidae) on my Sushi, which is pretty disgusting, because they appear in spaces that don't clean the drainage.....
