It was very convenient to reserve a table and the food and service were spectacular.
Good food and service.
Ellen is the best server! We started with the RA Ckin Shrimp and Filet Mignon Skewer small plates. Both were fantastic. Perfect Fantasy roll, Spice Tuna Roll, and the new Gojira Roll with spicy mayo were excellent. A couple of Tito's and a Kirins made for a perfect evening. Thank you
Everything was good. Food, service, nice place. they gave us the table in less than a minute. We really had a great time and recomendable for kids also. All we requested, like souce on the side, no seaweed, or well cooked was given for us.
Junita is a wonderful server! We started with the 2 new items on the menu Tunacado and Ra cKin Shrimp. Both were amazing. We had the Sumo roll and the new Gojira Roll which was superb. Some Tito's and big Kirin 22 oz beers made for a great night. Thank you
Pleasant place given it’s sleek, modern, spacious room. Food was nothing special. Salmon teriyaki was a bit over cooked. Several pieces of tuna in the tuna roll had gristle in it and needed to be returned as it was basically unchewable. This as far as I’m concerned is an unforgivable transgression on the part of the sushi chef. Kudos for them to remove it from the bill without even being asked.
Food was amazing fresh fish and great sushi. We only had seafood, price was very reasonable
Good service. Good sushi quality and service. A bit over priced.
A good sushi restaurant and non-touristy. Which is saying something, given it’s location right off of Times Square. Service was friendly if not stellar. Food was good in general, but great compared to nearby options. Green tea ice cream and tempura cheesecake were very good. Small wine list was better than expected.
A classic business lunch sushi in Times Square. Always very good.
My boyfriend and I went there for a date. We made a reservation online, and we specified that it was a date. Our server was cold and rude. She didn't come over for ten minutes. Then when she finally did, she was rushed and aggressive. She would glare at our table every single time she passed, and every time she spoke to us she was aggressive. We also noticed that our table was the only one without a candle. We are a younger couple, but our money is just the same. As someone who has worked in the industry and lived off of tips, I wasn't going to leave her a bad tip and make her suffer. However, I did feel as though the restaurant should know the behavior of their staff. I was really disappointed. As a New Yorker, I understand the fast moving pace. If this weren't a sit down meal, I would totally understand the behavior. When I go into a restaurant like this where I am paying good money for good service, I expect to be treated with respect. This was unacceptable. I understand that everyone has bad days, and therefore, I wasn't going to make a huge problem of it, but I did feel the need to let the restaurant know.
This has been a favorite of mine for quite a while. Unfortunately now the prices are a bit out of sight. The food is GREAT but expensive. I went because I had a gift certificate which helped. I would go again but only if someone else was treating. Its a lot to pay.
Amazing service had the avocado sushi, not the specific name, and it was amazing. Little disappointed they didn’t have the lobster sushi I love. But it was a great evening.
Delicious. Lycheetini was yummy. Quite good, as always. Happy to see more people in attendance!
Very clean environment noise level was perfect food was amazing so with the service
Arrived and was seated promptly, Service was outstanding, the server offered suggestions and answered questions with knowledge. Food arrived very promptly and was hot and fresh for the apps. The sushi was absolutely amazing. We can be sushi snobs, and this place did not disappoint. The flavors all popped out, and nothing was over helming to all the individual items in the rolls. Quality, presentation and taste were spot on. This is a must for those who love Sushi to check out !
Nice and effective staff, good and tasty food, nice environment
We had such a lovely time. Food was amazing! And we sat for over 3 hours and felt welcomed. They surprised us with a birthday dessert for my friend. He was thrilled! Thank you! We’ll back back again soon!
Service was excellent. Food very good. If you cannot deal with bringing up the menu on your phone, ask for a paper copy. They will give you one. I understand in the days of COVID that menu copies are not preferred, but I believe it loses something when you don't have something like that to look at and think about your menu choices.
Great sushi, pork gyoza, shrimp & scallop shumai
Amazing place to eat and relax with your partner or even group of friends or family, very neat and the atmosphere in this Resturant was great. Good quality for their sushi wonderful.
Excellent food and service! No wait. Presentation was lovely - would go back again!
A great lunch spot in the heart of Midtown with mouthwatering sushi.
Great meal. Surprised it didn’t cost more. Will go there again.
Excellent sushi and beautifully prepared
Everything was great except there were no hard copies of the menu. We had smart phones but what about the patrons who don’t.
Great. Food was insane
Ellen is a great server. Started with the Popcorn Shrimp and Tuna Tataki. Perfect Fantasy and sumo rolls for dinner. A couple Tito's and big Kirins made for a perfect evening. Can't beat Haru for food always amazing.Thank you
Consistently good food
Great service. The server (Rafael) was very accommodating and attentive. If you get the chance to dine. Have him to help you with your experience.
Perfect food and great service
It was good
The food was delicious. The servers were quick and efficient. However, I felt a little rushed.
I have been to Haru numerous times and it was excellent, but it certainly has gone down hill. The fried calamari didn't even look like calamari and the breading was just bad. The miso cod was bland. The lobster tacos were very good and I like the brussels sprouts. I brought two friends and I was a bit embarrassed based on the quality of the food. Also, even though the restaurant was far from full, the service was very slow
i find that that the sashimi pieces are a little thin
As a picky eater and with a small sample I was not amazed with the food, but the atmosphere was good
Food excellent and fresh except the king crab which was very watery from having been frozen and recently defrosted. Waitress very attentive and nice. Front desk Maitre’d was young, amateurish, not very friendly and communicated with barely literate skills. Overall a nice evening once we got past the busboy-Maitre’d or whatever he was
Great happy hour. Friendly staff.
Went for a date, and it was a lively atmosphere without being too loud. Food was good and not expensive for midtown.
