Join us January 21-February 9, 2020 for lunch or dinner, and get your fill of a three-course meal including some of our signature dishes we know you love! With a three-course lunch at $26 and dinner at $42, our foodie friends will love the menu's blend of classic favorites like Spinach Sesame, Hot Chili-Garlic Shrimp and our incredible Dark Chocolate White Miso Brownie.

Honestly as a native New Yorker , you don’t expect great quality from a restaurant located in a tourist trap like Times Square but HARU Sushi exceeded me and my wife’s expectations.

Wonderful food! Creative and scrumptious sushi. Portions more than adequate. Try the shishito peppers and tempura shrimp. Server lovely and very helpful. Only issue was just before we left, tables on either side of us became filled (they were right up against us). No chance to social distance which wasn’t great esp. that we unmasked to eat, of course. Other larger tables were empty so we could have been spaced out. Great overall experience for lunch or dinner.

We had the top #10 best sushi at Haru in Times Square before our matinee. Our waiter was attentive to our time to ensure we weren't late and the sushi was SO fresh and absolutely DELICIOUS. Haru is always known for reliable favorite dishes and consistent quality, but our lunch was outstanding. My friend and I were blown away. The location was also very convenient for pre-theater dining. We will be back for sure.
Always good food. Love the ceviche tacos. Service can be a little rushed. Last night appetizers came to our table before our drinks had arrived.

Best sushi I have ever had. Restaurant was probably the cleanest I have seen in Times Square. Staff was wonderful, food was delicious.

Server was nice but we only saw her a few times. Things came in a weird order and one of our items was forgotten - the crab dumplings. Instead crab fried rice came, totally fine, we sent it back and had our dumplings come out, but they weren’t very good. The Gramercy roll was yummy, otherwise the skewers were just okay. Good-ish food for Times Square, but wouldn’t return.

I have been to Haru Sushi before and had to come back. The food is delicious and fresh. The restaurant itself is very pretty and has a nice bar area. We were an appropriate distance from the other tables and that made me very comfortable. Service is impeccable and everyone is very friendly. We had the crispy calamari, lobster tacos and a few rolls. Just perfect! Can’t wait to go back!
Expected it to be better after all the great reviews. Crunchy spicy salmon was not!

My family and I enjoyed Haru for New Years Dinner in Time Square! Since we are from California, we didn’t quite appreciate the intricacies of getting through TimeSquare on New Year’s Eve so it was frustrating to get there but once there, the experience was exquisite! The manager,Kevin, and his team made the night so special. The sushi was great, service was superior and the ambiance was perfect for New Year’s Eve! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Haru!!!!

It was great and it was not the worst. The servers were not very enthusiastic but I guess it’s might be the norm in the Times Square area. I personally would not go back there.

Great Japanese cuisine. Some items are a bit pricey but expected as they are on Times Square. If you are in NYC, I highly recommend it.

Consistently good sushi, and the Kiss of Fire and Hells Kitchen special rolls are always a hit.
On this last visit, the service was a bit disorganized, and, the tables are way too close for comfort, especially in the current Covid environment.

This is still a reasonably good place to eat descent Japanese food, but I find that Haru's (at least this location) is not quite what it used to be. In years past my evaluation would have been outstanding (5 stars) all around--food, service, ambience etc. Now, its just middle of the road--not bad but not exceptional either.

The best Japanese food, large portions easy to share
Food was terrific. We were not impressed with the service. They seemed very disinterested in their jobs.
Great food sushi is still fresh and delish service is a little rough but it was Christmas Eve so our waitress was less then great as she left early
