Harth is a nothing-special convenience in the Hilton lobby, but it's convenient for visiting people staying at the hotel. Food was adequate for lunch and service was good. And we were able to sit and visit a couple of hours/

Booked outdoor table, was not available, made us seat inside without apology -very unpleasant hotel feeling. took waiter forever to come & get order.
I was very disappointed with Mother's Day brunch: it was overpriced and underperforming. There were no options for vegetarians or vegans. I had to ask for a plate of pancakes as there was no waffle station. The salmon was overcooked; there were two vegetable options as side dishes. there was a small bowl of salad with shredded carrots and I think shredded cabbage to add to that small bowl of salad. There was only a bowl of orange slices offered for fruit. The manager assured me that he would have more fruit put out; it never made it to the table. For 40 dollars a person plus gratuity and tip this was not worth it.
Pleasant and quiet (weekday lunch). Food well prepared but nothing special. Would go again for business purposes, but don't think we would make the trip for dining with friends.
Excellent top notch hotel restaurant
The selection was not big but it was a delectable choice. The vegetables were fresh and tasted so good. I had a halibut dish which is amazing. Highly recommend this place!
We have moved away from the area so when we visit we always stay at the Rye Town Hilton and eat at Harth. The food is consistently good and the staff is friendly.
in 2012 the NYT favorably reviewed this restaurant. The original chef must have left, this is no more then a below average hotel restaurant. If you are not staying at the hotel it is not worth the trip.
This was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had!! Four of seven entree items on the menu were not available (at 8:15 PM), leaving only three items. It took forever to get served both our first courses and our entrees---the latter coming only after complaining about the slow service to the manager of the restaurant. Even then, one of the entrees was not served until the first two people were finished eating theirs-----an unacceptable delay!! The wait staff was both incompetent and indifferent as well.
A beauty in terms of interesting menu, with a lot of great choices for every foodie, and the food was delicious; very good service that remained consistent throughout the meal, and best part, it isn't noisy so you can enjoy your conversation with your friends or family! I will definitely refer friends here and will return often. Loved the fact that the dishes were so unique and beautifully presented. And I used to work for Gourmet Magazine, so I know good food!
