When I have business associates in town and they want steak - I always go to Harry's. The prime rib is perfect. These folks were from Tulsa, OK where good steak abounds and they were impressed.
Should have ordered the whole slab of prime rib on the table as we all had it. It, as usual, was superb. Service was exceptional - no complaints.
Better yet - was on Wednesday night when wine was 1/2 price !!! Bonus.
Will always recommend Harry's when I am close the PHL airport.
Food and service were great. A little expensive but worth the price.
The food was excellent as well as the service. It was busy but the service was constant but not rushed. We truly enjoy dining at Harry's.
Harry's is a Class Act. Been going there for years. The prime rib is to die for!
Excellent food and service.
Always a great meal!
I thought the service and ambiance was awesome. Our waiter was very gracious and helped us prepare for a birthday (candles on dessert). It's really an upscale, trendy place with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The food tasted great and looked great too. Regrettably, I was disappointed with two items - 1) the portions of the food are just so large it's difficult to eat all of it - it's just way too much and 2) we were there Feb 16, 2018 and there were no chicken dishes on the menu at all - none. There was salmon, duck (which I am not fond of) and a pork chop (as well as many beef/steak items). I selected the pork chop and while I continued to cut into it, it kept getting less and less cooked until it had a definite pink hue to it - no thanks. My other guests enjoyed themselves, so that's good. I'll call next time to see if they have chicken on the menu - if not, I'll go someplace else.
Best Prime Rib in the Delaware Valley Area! Margie is the best server!
Large main dining room and very crowded on Valentine's Day - I suspect a few extra small tables were put in place - but the service and food were simply excellent. Despite the crowd, we were seated within 5 min. of our reservation. Brian/Bryan was a busy server but attentive w/o being overly so - lots of personality and a good recommendation on the Girardin Cuvee Saint-Vincent Cotes D'Or (which, commendably, was the normal 1/2-off Harry's offers on Wednesdays, despite this being a holiday). My small Caesar salad was a good size/appetizer, with a tasty dressing that wasn't overpowering, as most are. The little lady ordered the Petite Filet Oscar; I had the 10 oz. Prime Rib, which came with Rosemary Au Gratin potatoes. We are demanding diners. These dishes were spectacularly good, cooked just as ordered. No room for dessert but we finished the wine ;) Best of all, we were not in the least bit rushed despite the demand for tables this night. Splendid.
Just started going on a regular basis. The food is good and the people are very friendly.
Lobster ($64!) was not cooked through.
Fries limp and tasted odd.
Asked for medium prime rib and was served rare cut.
Management gave us free dessert - but we feel that with their price point and reputation they really need to look at their kitchen staff.
We frequent Harry's about eight times a year. Usually everything is superb but this time everything was mediocre from the food to the service to the overall feeling in the whole restaurant don't know what was off. Very disappointed
Harry's has now become the upscale place where we celebrate special events. Food has been excellent every time we've been there. Service is prompt and courteous without seeming like they're trying to rush you through your meal. Meals are pricey, but well worth it.
Very nice as usual!
We received notice of Harry's 30th anniversary Sunday $30 special for a complete meal including clam chowder or Ceasar Salad, Prime Rib and Creme Brulee. All four of our party decided to have that special and everyone thought it perfect. Soups and salads were fresh and tasty and the prime rib was (as almost always at Harry's) just perfect. And some good coffee, dessert and conversation finished off a nice Sunday meal. Service was quick and attentive. We'll probably try it again before this special expires!
Excellent meal and service! Highly recommend Harrys!
Sat us in the extremely noisy bar area. Not what we reserved. They should seat free pls in the restaurant when they have a reservation.
The food was delicious and the service was very good. There were two areas that needed improvement: our bread arrived at the same time as the meal. We would have preferred to have some time to chat and enjoy the bread before the entree. Secondly, the noise level was unacceptable. We were in the main dining room and had difficulty hearing during the music coming from the bar.
Harry's was a perfect spot to celebrate our friends' milestone anniversary. The waiter, Brian, was attentive to our needs and the occasion. Food was delicious and served at a good pace. It was easy to converse and enjoy one another's company.
Disappointed. Booked a table for a double special occasion, and I called the day prior to confirm. No mention of birthday or anniversary. We didn't really get much attention at all from our server, who also didn't seem to know the menu very well. Prime rib was fabulous!! Filet also great. Duck also fine. Tuna appetizer somewhat dry. So food great, service not so much. Also, when we arrived no real greeting from hostess, no offer of hanging costs and when we left we had to search out our costs since no one in duty.
