Excellent food and service. Too noisy. A bit pricey for the portion sizes. But, an overall fun place to go for special occassions.
I visit Harry's often. I invited people out to dinner and I was embarrassed at how poor the service was and I did not feel my steak was very good.
Harry’s was fabulous as always. I did note some changes. The potatoes they serve with the prime rib are different - more smashed than au gratin. I liked the new way better. Plus the horseradish now comes in a little bowl and not in the cucumber; that’s okay with me, I always thought that was wasteful anyway.
Still a wonderful meal. Best prime rib ever.
Best prime rib . They know how to do it right.I asked for a 22 oz. portion no problem. Thank you Harry’s savoy.
There were 4 of us and we all ordered the prime rib open face-it was delicious and everyone enjoyed the selection. John, our waiter, was very good and we enjoyed our discussions.
Always a pleasure. Huge portion of very well prepared prime rib, served with the right accompaniments, fresh, crisp garlicky Caesar salad, attentive service, and at $38 for a huge cut of medium rare beef like that, it is the deal of the decade. We drive 45 minutes from Philly several times a year, and it's worth it. Only deficit is no baked potato, though the potatoes au gratin that comes with it (gratis) is quite good, albeit rich. New chef, but same wonderful experience and food.
We all enjoyed Harry’s Savoy Grill. The prime rib was excellent! We will go back again soon.
we had the prime rib anniversary special... $30 for a 3 course meal... outrageously excellent!!!
Had an excellent birthday meal. The food and service was great and can definitely recommend Harry’s
Have always felt this was the best restaurant on the Pa-Del border. Food was good but not great. Service was just ok. I now know why people from Wilmington chose to go to Philadelphia or NY for that special evening.
Restaurant is very good. Fortunately we were able to be seated even though the open table reservation did not show up in their system.
Delicious food. Ordered the crispy calamari as our appetizer. Large portion, fresh and delicious. Our dinners were prime rib. Slow roasted and tender. Ordered the mushrooms and sautéed spinach as side dishes. They were fabulous. Always a great dinner. Never disappoints.
We went to try the new 30th Aniversary $ 30 Prime rib dinner on Sunday.
Beef was very good and done exactly to order.
First course salad was boring. Try the chowder instead. Crime Brûlée very nice.
Will be back for this meal.
Harry's always delivers excellent food. We had the special $30 Sunday prime rib dinner--Caesar salad, prime rib and potatoes, and creme brulee. Excellent value so the place was filled with many families and therefore a little noisy for our taste. Helpful waitress. Nice outing.
We met for my sister's birthday celebration. The service and food were top notch. We were permitted to bring a home baked cake in without any push back. The server was so kind in making sure everyone had their slice of cake and more when asked.
Celebrated our wedding anniversary and you always make it special. It was a Sunday so my husband ordered the 3 for 30 fixed price special. I savored my salmon with many vegetables. Thanks again for a delicious dinner celebration!
out with a group of 6, everyone was pleasantly surprised everything was outstanding. Appetizers, entries and desserts. Wine list was very nice as well as the specialty cocktails.
This was the first time my seafood was cold and I had to send it back. Then the second one was barely warm
Large place but has a nice atmosphere. Varied menu and extensive wine list, not too much by the glass though. Beef carpaccio was very good, pan seared duck with black eye peas was excellent. Brussel sprouts were a bit too charred. One disappointment was the molten chocolate cake which was drenched in too much chocolate syrup. Excellent service. I’d go back again.
Harry's has become our favorite spot - always great food and service in a cool atmosphere. Best Clams Casino on the the planet (make that the solar system)! "John" was a great server - please pass along our thanks for another great experience at Harry's!
Andy our waiter was excellent! Food was great. Prime Rib and Crabcakes are the best.
Been going to Harry's Savoy Grille for YEARS and although they didn't change their menu much or step up to the plate with GF options, we kept going for the prime rib for my husband.
The food isn't as well prepared as it has been in the past. I had the lobster and it was the tiniest tails I've ever seen there and yes I have had it before, many times. The food used to be perfectly cooked and of generous portions. They've removed some items of which I am able to have so we won't be returning until more options are available for GF allergies and vegetarians.
Very sad to be saying this because it was one of our favorite places and we would always go for special occasions too. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
For the price charged for steaks with no sides you should be serving prime meat.
Harry's Savoy is never a disappointment! Good food, good service, and a good time!
Great dining and service. Prime Rib was excellent.
Harry’s constantly delivers the highest quality dining experience.
Harry's never disappoints us. Service is always great. The quality of the food is outstanding. Some dinners are a bit pricey but the quality and service is always the best.
The food was delicious from appetizers straight through to dessert. The wait staff are extremely competent. Absolutely love this restaurant we have been coming for years and will continue to do so.
Everything was wonderful. Food was hot and delicious when we received it. The only negative part was our calamari appetizer (which I had before and was good) seemed chewy and a couple pieces not cooked enough. Overall, my husband and I were very happy and would definitely go there again. I had the lobster tail and fresh sautéed spinach which was excellent. My husband had the Filet Mingon and it was very good as well.
We met with a friend for dinner and wanted time to talk and relax before we headed out to a show at The Grand. Finn was a great server and helped keep the meal flowing while allowing us the time to talk over each course. Salmon and the filet were perfect. Always enjoy our meals here.
Harry is wonderful..always a good meal.
Had the steakburger that was luscious.
My friend had roast beef cut from a big piece of meat & you can smell the aroma when sitting close by ... before it even comes to your table
No matter what we get, it is always the best
When I have business associates in town and they want steak - I always go to Harry's. The prime rib is perfect. These folks were from Tulsa, OK where good steak abounds and they were impressed.
Should have ordered the whole slab of prime rib on the table as we all had it. It, as usual, was superb. Service was exceptional - no complaints.
Better yet - was on Wednesday night when wine was 1/2 price !!! Bonus.
Will always recommend Harry's when I am close the PHL airport.
Food and service were great. A little expensive but worth the price.
The food was excellent as well as the service. It was busy but the service was constant but not rushed. We truly enjoy dining at Harry's.
Harry's is a Class Act. Been going there for years. The prime rib is to die for!
Excellent food and service.
Always a great meal!
I thought the service and ambiance was awesome. Our waiter was very gracious and helped us prepare for a birthday (candles on dessert). It's really an upscale, trendy place with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The food tasted great and looked great too. Regrettably, I was disappointed with two items - 1) the portions of the food are just so large it's difficult to eat all of it - it's just way too much and 2) we were there Feb 16, 2018 and there were no chicken dishes on the menu at all - none. There was salmon, duck (which I am not fond of) and a pork chop (as well as many beef/steak items). I selected the pork chop and while I continued to cut into it, it kept getting less and less cooked until it had a definite pink hue to it - no thanks. My other guests enjoyed themselves, so that's good. I'll call next time to see if they have chicken on the menu - if not, I'll go someplace else.
Best Prime Rib in the Delaware Valley Area! Margie is the best server!
Large main dining room and very crowded on Valentine's Day - I suspect a few extra small tables were put in place - but the service and food were simply excellent. Despite the crowd, we were seated within 5 min. of our reservation. Brian/Bryan was a busy server but attentive w/o being overly so - lots of personality and a good recommendation on the Girardin Cuvee Saint-Vincent Cotes D'Or (which, commendably, was the normal 1/2-off Harry's offers on Wednesdays, despite this being a holiday). My small Caesar salad was a good size/appetizer, with a tasty dressing that wasn't overpowering, as most are. The little lady ordered the Petite Filet Oscar; I had the 10 oz. Prime Rib, which came with Rosemary Au Gratin potatoes. We are demanding diners. These dishes were spectacularly good, cooked just as ordered. No room for dessert but we finished the wine ;) Best of all, we were not in the least bit rushed despite the demand for tables this night. Splendid.
