Absolutely great dinner . Had the calamari and grilled crab leg for the appetizer . The crab leg was amazing and calamari was great too. My steak was cooked to perfection and the Thai shrimp my girlfriend got was so delicious . The waiters were all great and very attentive .. well worth the price .
For the first time we were quite disappointed with our visit to Harry's in Cancun. We felt as if we were in a fast food restaurant. Each course was sitting table side before we had even finished the prior course and the waiters hovered over us to clear the table as fast as they could to put the next course down! Ambience and decor not so nice in the expanded part of the restaurant where we were seated.
First off the food was excellent. We split a Caesar salad that was a gracious plenty for each. The crab cake was very good. We split a filet that was top shelf. Excellent beef. The downside to our dining experience was our service was the worst. Waiter was never around. Had to ask other servers for things. I don't think it was that way for other diners. I think we just got a waiter that was not on the ball. Probably won't go back because of the bad service. There are to many good restaurants in Cancun to have experience poor service.
Dinner with friends. Appy's were wonderful. Surf and turf crab the best I have had in Cancun. Steaks are all dine to perfection. We had servers taking extremely good care of us . We are regulars my wife best friend and myself all have personalized Steak knives . Yes we will always be back
Our 2nd visit to Harry’s and it didn’t disappoint again. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel special.
The service, the food, ambience and wine choice is so good.
Our waiter Alexis was always there when we needed him and Max, the general manager made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll be back soon.
Harry's - Great steak and seafood but watch for the not always transparent up-sell - Very professional (although maybe a bit shady) and attentive wait staff - Food was delicious and the steak was one of the best we had in Cancun. Also enjoyed the Robalo Chileno Mediterraneo. Only annoyance was claim that they didn't have the tequila we ordered and of course they upsold w/out full transparency to a costlier brand (two tequilas cost more than any entree we ordered including the filet) which provided a bit of sticker shock at bill time. They also totally ignored the request for a PETITE filet. We didn't want to create a commotion after an otherwise great dining experience but want others to be aware and attuned to possible shady practices.
Although we arrived early, they gave us the table 20 min after my book time UNACEPTABLE

I have been many times at Harry's, but I need to revaluate if I want to be treated this way....really bad experience
We have eaten here on 5 separate occasions and in the past the food has been very good. This time the Kansas City Steak I had was full of fat and not tender - very difficult to cut and chew. Definitely not worth the price of $44 USD. One member of our party had steamed broccoli sent back 3 times and it never was cooked - For a high end steakhouse the service is good as is the ambiance but the food is marginal at best. There are many other high end dining options in the hotel zone in Cancun to choose from with better food - save your money.
