Harry's Main Street Grille, in Westminster, is a popular dining spot for rib-sticking breakfasts and classic American-style dinners, served in its welcoming and relaxing restaurant. The crab pretzel, a large soft pretzel topped with crab dip and cheddar and baked to melty perfection and the roasted portabella mushrooms topped with cheese and roasted red pepper compote make for tantalizing appetizers. Harry's Main Street Grille's entrées, like the Gulf shrimp and andouille sausage jambalaya, the homemade meatloaf slathered in gravy and the bourbon barbecue chargrilled ribs, are all steeped in homey comfort. Coney Island-inspired hot dogs with all the fixings as well as a variety of juicy hamburgers are also popular.
If you are in the mood for breakfast, Harry's Main Street Grille will not disappoint. Veggie crepes filled with scrambled eggs and hollandaise and the hotcakes served with butter, syrup and a side of bacon are standouts.
The owner needs to put a sign up "Permanently Closed" for those not knowing!
Finding parking, paying than walking only to wonder WHY THE DOORS ARE LOCKED...when hours posted say they are open!
Would be a courtesy... even IF CLOSED PERMANENTLY! OR... cover up main overhead sign!!!
They were Closed................ No notice given and no sign on the door............ waste of a drive.....
Had fun service good comfort food. Place go and enjoy
Get together with a group every Wednesday for Lunch Bunch and choose a different restaurant each week. Harry's did a nice job and met our expectations. Had a nice time and enjoyed the food. Received good service. Would recommend.
A good experience when wanting to feed the family without breaking the bank.
Attentive service, though the joint was far from busy early on a Saturday evening just before college term starts.
Menu not terrifically exciting but good selection and decent nonetheless.
Handled gluten free OK after verifying - the alternate menu is "guilt free" (ie low calorie) not gluten free, so be careful not to confuse.
Heard a lot about this restaurant from friends. Had to check it out myself. Harry's is a local tradition that lives up to its reputation. Restaurant was busy on my Tuesday night visit. Was greeted by the manager and seated immediately. Food came out promptly and was delicious. Grilled salmon with pineapple mango relish and teriyaki glaze was excellent. As were the quesadilla and crab pretzel appetizers. My dinner companion had the jambalaya ( house specialty ), which was as good or better than we found in New Orleans. Looking forward to our next visit.
Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but it was a fairly decent place.
A very basic-looking place with outstanding food and service.
