Harry's Bar and Grill Ratings and Reviews
The "special" quiche I ordered was burnt to a crisp on top. When I pointed that out to the waitress, she offered to bring me a different piece, but then she returned to say that they were all like that. She did offer to bring me a different menu item, but there were five of us, including a 5-year-old, so I wasn't inclined to prolong the meal, therefore I simply peeled off the crusty, burnt top and ate the rest of the quiche.
I've eaten at Harry's many times, and previous to Sunday's experience, I've never been served a substandard meal. This was a first.
Food and service were wonderful. The restaurant offers an extensive listing of specials which make use of seasonal ingredients. Prices are reasonable. We don’t drink but we could see lots of wine and beer choices. Parking can be difficult but there is a small lot with additional on street parking.
I appreciated the welcome and accommodation for our party of seven. Easy to make a reservation through open table and honoring our request for space at the table for a wheelchair.
Unfortunately the credit card machine was not working but the staff worked it out so we could use our credit card. Overall a great ne and experience!
Good food; very nice place. Later afternoon; not crowded. Service was terrible. Had to ask for menu's, drinks, apps, etc. Food slow coming out of kitchen ( guessing server issue) , even thou place was slow.
Food was very good, nice portions . Wait staff just on holiday; to busy taking to each other and walking around. Even getting bill was painful. Can't recommend to others
Made a reservation for 8 pm. Was there early was ok though checked in and headed to the very long bar. The bar was two people deep, but had only 2 tenders :( not good, especially when one had to do diners drinks. They were not staffed for a busy night. Stood and watched the game while waiting to get served. A family finally got seated and I had a place to sit. Meal was just ok. BBQ pulled pork sliders and coleslaw. Too peppery for my taste and slaw had no taste :(. My first drink and they were out of my choice beverage. Ugh. After that I chose something that was in stock. The band started at 930. They were great. Dance floor was full all night. Everyone had a great time it seemed
We had never been to Harry's Bar and Grill and we found it delightful. It was a very relaxing atmosphere, the food was good and our server was very attentive. I normally do like high tables, but our table while high was very comfortable. We went for a business meeting and it was very comfortable and easy to talk.
I would highly recommend this Bar and Grill.
The problem with Harry's Bar and Grill is that they cancel Open Table reservations on purpose. The restaurant is being promoted with 1,000 points for reservation on Open Table. However, upon arrival and if Open Table is mentioned, reservation is canceled so the bonus point is not honored.
Harry's has been a convenient "go to restaurant" for my husband and me. The food is consistently good. I always know that I will be satisfied. I like when they have shrimp as an appetizer (please offer it more frequently.)
The cocktails could be made to look nicer. Especially since "cocktails" are so popular nowadays. Sometimes they appear hastily thrown together and a bit diluted. At $11/drink I think the bartender can do a better job. If not then I feel that the prices are too high for the quality.
All in all, we will keep going back-at least once a month.
They do not have wifi which is important for our child to be happy while we have dinner. We were astounded by this. The drinks were expensive and not partircuarly good, with confusing menus of what was an wasn't available, and when (happy hour vs not). The food was good, but not super memorable. We booked a table a few days in advance but the table they gave up was right next to the corridor leading to the restrooms, so we had people bumping us, and a lovely view of the hallway. All round, not a particularly good experience.
