   We loved the food and service at Harry Cipriani’s. We had less than an hour to eat before our show on Christmas Eve, and Harry Cipriani did not disappoint. They accommodated our timing while still managing to pace our courses thoughtfully. Delicious pastas!

   Food was not good at all. It felt like I was eating school cafeteria food! The service was very poor. We had to ask repeatedly to order and the servers were apathetic at best. The decor was mediocre and the prices were outrageous. Such a disappointment.

   Overall, the experience we had at Harry Cipriani was nothing short of disappointing. When we arrived for our reservation, we spent 10 minutes standing by the front door waiting to speak to a host. This was followed by being led to sit in a small table wedged into the furthest back corner of the restaurant directly next to the kitchen. Overall, the seating was incredibly warm compared to the rest of the restaurant due to the close proximity of the table to the kitchen, and it made for an uncomfortable meal. Beyond this, our waiter attended our table twice the entire meal. Once to ask for our order after 15 minutes or more of sitting at the table, followed by at the end of the meal when we requested the check and a water refill. This was highly disappointing as there were at least a dozen waiters servicing the restaurant with no more than two dozen tables, yet we saw two to three waiters servicing a single table, even all three at a time at some points. The food was not spectacular in any regard, and based on the price of the meal at nearly $50 per plate for an entree and $25 for a glass of wine, money could be far better spent at a different restaurant for a better experience. To say the least, we were disappointed as we had seen good reviews online, but our experience came with poor service, mediocre food, and an uncomfortable and confined dining ambience. Not to mention at the end of the experience, we left an average tip for below average service but our waiter was quick to find us on our way out to ask if we would like him to add more money to our tip. This was frustrating as we had received little to no service from him the entire meal, but his attentiveness was nearly immediate once the check was available. We would recommend dining at a different location, as the overall price of this dinner was not worth the experience and quality received.

   Felt like I was at Harry's Venice. The food was amazing just like being in Italy but we were at Central Park South/East. You will need a reservation the bar and restaurant are very busy.
