This fashionable restaurant is almost an exact duplicate of the original Harry's Bar in Venice. It is packed daily with chic New Yorkers and visitors from all over the world, whether it is for a popular power breakfast or business and leisure lunches and dinners. Harry Cipriani offers the classic menu of unique Cipriani specialties and Italian favorites. Whether you are a regular with your "own table" or a first time guest, you are received with warmth and enthusiasm.
Please know that due to the Holiday seating set up, we will be taking New Year's Eve Dinner reservations, by phone only.

Always a great experience! Thanks to Aldo for creating a wonderful memory
This is one of the very few restaurants which “gets it. “ Excellent service, very good food and Sergio knows how to make everybody feel special
Always a great place where they make you feel special. The food is incredible. Quite often they have little extras brought to your table. They spend just the right amount of time serving you and "giving you space". I just love going there when I visit NYC.
It was one of my favorite restaurants in NY. The food bad, the attention too. I don't know what happened to them.
We had another enjoyable meal at Harry Cipriani. Professional and attentive wait staff and wonderful dining.
It was an amazing experience
They took too long to bring desert and it came wrong. They’re not in their best day
I had ordered the daily menu and the waiter forgot to serve half of the menu.
Awful! Waited 30 minutes before we were asked our drink order and then entire meal was mediocre. Super expensive, horrible lighting. Would never go back. So many better places in the city, especially at this price.
Too many servers for one table. There was used plates and glasses left in the middle of the restaurant. Not impressed for the price of everything.
We have been going to Harry Cipriani for 30 years, though living in CT we can't get there more than once or twice a year. Though I doubt the staff remembers us, we always feel welcomed and important. The atmosphere is comfortably elegant. The menu staples are reliably wonderful, starting with the crisp-cold Bellinis and best-ever breadsticks. Not inexpensive, but always fresh and simply and thoughtfully prepared.
One hour wait and terrible service
Service is amazing! Drinks were strong. Wine list extensive. Food was impeccable. It's very crowded with tables practically touching each other. Fortunately the guests at the other tables were enjoyable and chatty making the tight quarters a blessing in disguise.
Todo estaba delicioso!!!
Harry Cipriani remains my favorite place in NY in spite of absurd prices; fabulous at lunch and Sergio (manager) always greets you like a daily guest with warmth and caring.
Met a friend hadnt seen for years!
they gave is the worst table next to the kitchen. all I could hear was plate noises from the kitchen. that table should not exist. we had to teturn the pasta, because it was overcooked and dry. the waiter told us it was suposed to be like that, but we hve eaten at that restaurant a hundred times. We know how the pasta is suposed to be. extremely expensive overall. bad experience for me. I’m not comming back.
Fabulous as ever
Birthday.....best night out on NYC. Everyone was gracious and welcoming.
I was charged twice on my dinner and neither the restaurant nor my bank takes responsibility, how very unfortunate. My only fault was to go have dinner there, i ended up paying double the amount.. Wouldn't recommend to a friend in order to avoid a similar situation.
Everything was wonderful!!
The staff were lovely, it got busier and busier but we had a number of attentive servers. Food was fine. Expensive but paying for the label, as they say. Great fun to watch the wait staff weave in and out from kitchen to tables as well as watching the parade of customers.
Food and service were good although they messed up one of our orders and delivered the wrong dishes on it.
Awesome lunch celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday. Everything was perfect!
Service wasnt good enough , family dinner but becouse we ware jeans and sneakers also the people working there looking at us and my money is even the money with the people white suits.
Harry Cipriani is a classic New York high end dining experience with excellent service and top notch food at a high price. The pasta can be done as an entree or a starter and is not to be missed. For the price the portion size is good and the specials are well worth it. Dessert is overpriced at 21 dollars for a slice of cake. Overall though a great experience and if you are looking to splurge an excellent option .
Very rude waiters and very inconsistent table service.
If they knew who you were they provided great service. If they do not know you they ignored you. Plates, wine glasses, and water glasses sat after each course.
We had to ask for basics such as water and were not offered the fresh rolls.
Artichoke salad was served in a small bowl instead of a flat dinner plate as they did before. The old presentation was beautiful. This one covered by a large slice a Parmesan cheese. The olive oil and lemon juice concentrated at the bottom of the bowl and and made the salad a soggy mess. My husbands gnocchi was overcooked and sauce watery. Presentation was a mess. I had ordered the baked green tagliolini and received the plain noodle not spinach as ordered. The dish was much too salty. We have eaten at this restaurant each time we fly in to NY but we will not return. There are too many other Italian restaurants who provide excellent service with a smile and much better quality of food.
Scadente...Salta questo ristorante
Food was just ok. Small tables and noise place.
Over priced. Sold us a $14.00 bottle of mineral water. Food was okay. Way to expensive for okay.
Excellent dinner within hotel we were staying! Pleasant surprise.
Love it! The people working there are amazing and the management is the best! Food is incredible with the best possible ambience.
great food, overpriced drinks and desserts.
Best place to impress your date, Great menu and incredible wait and service stagg
I had informed them prior that we were coming for a birthday and an anniversary they first stuck us in a table in the back in the corner by the kitchen that was a table for two even though we were four we did asked to move and they put us by the front door which was acceptable but also not great the waiter was extremely rude and surly when we were asking about the menu also my husband wanted spaghetti with chunks of tuna and he said there was not one piece of fish in his pasta I will not go back there again
If you are going to charge those kind of prices at least give people courtesy and the value of the food that they ordered
My favorite spot
Great food! Excellent waiter. Very enjoyable lunch.
Really good experience
What once a was quiet lovely, attentive staff and fabulous food is now non the less. Very disappointed by the moment they am squeezed us into a row of tables and did not place us in an area with less people and privacy.
Waiter was short and rude. He would not give us the time of day when asking questions about the selections, he acted unconcerned and preoccupied. With what? Who know.
The pumpkin ravioli were not even properly stuffed as the main dish was mainly pasta and drenched butter.
We waited 19 minutes as the waiters passed by our table without taking out hardly eaten food and asking for dessert.
I brought my friend who i was an out to impress by the reputable Cipriani’s, much to my dismay I left apologizing for an experience I have never had there before.
Very saddened I had to write a review like this when indeed my past experiences were more pleasant.
