Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse in River North will be offering special Mother’s Day brunch items on May 13 from 11:30am – 2pm. Indulge Mom in Mascarpone French Toast, Eggs Florentine and our fan favorite 6oz Petit Filet & Eggs Your Way. Raspberry Bellinis will be offered for $10.

Great food and service. I had the Chicken Vesuvio bone in and it is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and my wife had Papparadelle Alla Bolognese and she loved it.
The Kinzie location was chock full of memorabilia. There are so many photos and Harry exhibits. All of that before you get to your table. Our waiter was top shelf. Intuitive and knowledgeable. Wee were guided through the menu and special requests were snapped up and delivered just as asked. I think the Harry's bone in rib eye is the best steak that I have ever eaten. Mind you, I have eaten it a half dozen times. Salad was fresh, crisp and split for two by request. A filet was ordered medium well. The waiter knew to suggest a butterfly cut to even out the heating. Great suggestion. The skillet of mushrooms was amazing. Attentive service and heartfelt conversation from the front door to getting into our car home. I expected a quality for the price. I got a value that made the experience memorable and repeatable. Oh, The dessert. We split a brownie sundae. Crisp edges and high quality chocolate. Hot and tempered with a scoop of premium vanilla ice cream. I would recommend Harry Carey's to anyone.

The waitress was wonderful, informative, attentive-but not intrusive. The food was excellent. Corn brûlée was wonderful. Love the combination of older and current sports photos.

It was old school Chicago steak house full of rich, warm memories. Service was attentive and gracious and food was delicious.
We both chose salads (50-something Gen X’ers) and mine was great. It was eggplant, arugula with a twist on a caprese. Really fab.
I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at your lovely restaurant. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was incredible!! The service was above and beyond what I had expected. The entire experience was magical.
We were in Chicago with family and wanted an affordable night out with varied menu. This was a hit on all factors, steak, pasta, Italian and fish all were excellent. Great cocktails , and the waiter was on top of everything with just enough sass and personality to make the evening memorable.

If you go and have kids in your group treat them to the “Breaking Ball” dessert. It’s like a whitechocolate baseball piñata filled with cake, ice cream and strawberry.

Wonderful as always
Had the waiter not had friends at another table he was waiting on, our experience would have been much better. The amount of time we spent waiting in between his mingling with the other table was unprofessional. I would also suggest you review your check as we were charged for multiple items we didn’t order. The manager did fix the check. Out of the many nice steak restaurants I have dined at, this has been the most unpleasant dining experience and we will not be returning. There are better options in Chicago.
Food was delicious! The presentation of the meat options by our server, Steve, was top notch. He was very knowledgeable about the wine pairings and meat preparations. He made several suggestions and they did not disappoint. Steve, Alfredo and Romeo were very attentive during our meal and service was impeccable. We were visiting after a show at the Oriental Theater and I would recommend the same to anyone!
Very fun place to watch sports. Especially March Madness! Dined by myself in bar and wait staff to was very attentive. Food was excellent.

The food is outstanding! We had a filet, twice baked potato, and corn brûlée. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Chicago!
We ate there St Patty’s weekend. Food was good as usual. It was a little crazy (which can be expected any place on St Pats!!)

I just want to make special note of the service we received on St Patrick’s Day. We picked Harry Caray’s to surprise my Mom for her birthday and we had her six month old grandson with us. On an insanely busy day, the team working the hostess station accommodated us with a perfect table to surprise my Mom and also accommodate our son’s stroller. Thanks for going above and beyond to make her day special!
Date night.
We were visiting Chicago and my husband loved Harry Caray, so we decided we would go for dinner. The atmosphere and things to look at was great. The host seated us right away. We were a party of 8 adults. We ordered drinks and a bottle of wine. From the start, our server seemed annoyed that we were there and unfortunately this attitude lasted throughout or meal. The good was good, but not what i expected for the price.
It was good to say we have been there. However we will not go back.
Took my team here for a business meal and couldn’t have been happier. Great food and everyone enjoyed. Would definitely recommend.

Even if I'm italian, when I visit Chicago I use to go at this steakhouse not properly for the "italian food" but for the wonderful meat! many compliments!
When I entertain in Chicago I always go to Harry Cary's! I know that My group will be happy there and well taken care of. I recommend it to my peers as well. Everything from start to finish is professionally done and we do not ever have to ask for anything. It's as if they already know what we are getting low on or out of and they take care of us. It's a great place to get spoiled!
