For a first time visit, I thoroughly enjoyed it! And so did my mom.
The food and service was very good however the overall menu was rather limited. We came for lunch and it wasn’t all that crowded.
It's just a fun place to eat. Always good food. This time we tried the Tempura Fried Dill Pickles. Awesome!! I also recommend the Kale Caesar with Salmon. Yum!
Thank you so much for joining us at Harry Caray's 7th Inning Stretch! So glad to hear you enjoyed everything and we hope you will be back to see us again in the future!
A nice lunch break while shopping. Good was surprisingly good for a chain.
Good food with horrible service. You hace to beg for service.
The bartender was fantastic- great menu knowledge and great recommendations. The front door staff was very blah and seemed like she didn't want to be there (kids, you know). My only complaint was that it a very cold day (April snowstorm) and the temp was very chilly inside the restaurant and had the ceiling fans going. Please pay attention to the small details
Excellent service and we were seated with a great view of the Cub's game. We stayed at the Tremont so it was a very short walk from the hotel. Food was very good and for the price excellent value. We just finished a long day working a trade show so we had a couple of cocktails - great way to take the edge off a busy day. I had the lamb burger - it was a little over done as I ordered medium thinking it would be a pink middle but was still very tasty along with a very fresh side salad. My colleague had the salmon burger with fries and judging by how fast he ate it - I assume it was very good as well. Would recommend the restaurant to sports fans and/or visitors; there's lots of memorabilia and photos all over the restaurant and is a good introduction to the rich sport history that is unique to Chicago - the place definitely has character!
Reasonable prices for a lot of food in a fun sports bar!
Great experience, can't wait to go back!! The kids loved it.
Despite the low number of guests in the restaurant while we dined, it seemed we got lost in the service queue and did not have a very attentive server. Loved the restaurant and all the memorabilia and the ability to watch the Cubbies on opening day.
The 7th inning stretch is a fun sports bar with really good food. It is a great family destination. The Burgers were excellent and quite varied in the preparation. I really liked that a salad option was offered as a side option. In general, the food is not inexpensive. However, the kid's menu offers great prices and large portions. What really makes this place stand out as a terrific value and a great destination is the adjacent Chicago Sports Museum. You get free admission if you dine at Harry's, too. I highly recommend dining at Harry Caray's 7th Inning Stretch and enjoying the museum. It was enjoyable for all ages.
We ate lunch prior to going into the museum. The portions were large but the food was just OK. I upgraded to the truffle parm fries which were not worth the extra $2.50.
Fun atmosphere, great service, excellent milkshakes and the food was great. The Chicago Sports Museum was a lot of fun too.
Awesome service and continually asked us if they could do anything for us. Highly recommend other people!
Museum was great, food was great, service was excellent!
Sports folks will love, and simply MUST, stop by this super sporty place. HUGE portions, although admittedly the menu is limited (Unless you like burgers & fries, this might not be the place for you. IT IS THE PLACE FOR YOU if you like sports memorabilia, and who can beat FREE ADMISSION to the Chicago Sports HOF next door as a "perk" and "thank you" for dining at this place. Beyond the great atmosphere, the 7 floor mall that houses HARRY CARAY's is unreal n7ce, and a must see!!!!
The food was decent, sort of typical bar food. We were there on a Sunday around 4 and it was dead! Therefor you would think the management and servers would be glad to see people coming in. Service was terrible . It took forever to get a drink and the server never came back to take our order . I had to ask the manager to take our order . All in all it seemed like the staff wanted a day off!! I say give them a permanent day off and hire new staff!!!
Great place for a burger and a beer on the Mag mile.
I love Harry Caray’s!! Great food, awesome service! I’m a big Chicago Cubs fan and I love this restaurant. You must also go through the Chicago Sports Museum, it’s so cool, with lots of interesting information and games.
Great place to go before a show at the broadway playhouse. Food was good..beer was cold!!!
Great experience and loved the museum.
Absolutely AWESOME restaurant, ambiance, menu, service, history, and memorabilia..a MUST see for any
Dinner was alright except they forgot an appetizer and it came out 10minutes late. Then when we left after we were done the mall was closed and we had to walk down 7 flights of stairs because the elevators and escalators weren’t working. Not great!
Very enjoyable experience. The ambiance was friendly and inviting, the food was reasonably priced, and the city view was perfect. Already recommended this to a friend.
Great food! Enjoyed the lamb burger, Korean bbq wings, and truffle fries. I’ll be back for sure.
We loved the garlic butter fries! We also had the Holy Cow burger which was great.
The food was cooked well and tasted good. The service was poor and the restaurant was not busy at all. I would probably not return only because there was nothing special about the food or the environment.
Second time here, both for early afternoon lunch. The food was great and good beer choice. The service was outstanding. Will definitely be back.
Great sports museum and history. Great food
Great all around - food, service, ambiance, and great location - and at rather modest prices. Great menu selections. This will be my go-to place for lunch. Recommend it highly.
Wonderful memorabilia. The menu was simple but the food was delicious. Good burgers and fries, especially if you upgrade the fries. We tried the honey siracha and they were delicious. Homemade honey mustard served with jumbo pretzel was YUMMY!
We had the best waiter!
The only suggestion I would make is having a coat check area, especially for those who want to visit the museum afterwards (especially in the cold Chicago winters!)
Family trip downtown for the holidays.
We had a Christmas Eve Weekend getaway before the crazy family engagements and we decided to to go to Harry Caray's and must say that we went in with an open mind and not much expectations other than enjoying lunch before some shopping. Our family was a party of five and everyone was immediately impressed with the service and attention to detail. The service was top notch from beginning to end and the food actually became a added bonus if that is possible...everything we ordered was explained in detail and did not disappoint as it was second to none. Overall everything was very enjoyable and the free admission to the Sports Museum was just a huge plus for the kids. Great Job! to all the staff.
Service was slow and not very responsive. Menu is very limited. The beyond burger not very good , the La Forna flatbread just ok. The lamb burger was best. The place is too touristy.
Server John was a lot of fun, food and drinks excellent.
I AM FROM OUT OF TOWN. I SAW THIS RESTAURANT LISTED ONLINE SO WE GAVE IT A TRY. WE TOOK THE HAPPY HOUR SPECIAL... 1.5 HRS OF DRAFT BEERS AND WINE WITH ONE APPETIZERS EACH. THE PLACE IS LOCATED ON THE 7TH FLOOR ON THE WATER TOWER. THEY HAVE NICE SPORTS PICS ON THE WALL. PLENTY OF TVS FOR GAMES. THE ONLY CRAPPY PART WAS PARTY WITH SCREAMING KIDS SHATTERED YOUR EARS. GREAT!!
Not impressed!! Went in there for burgers thinking they have something special but it was a regular burger I could have made!! Even the fried chicken for kids were so bland that the dinosaur nuggets you get from Costco is way better. I would never come to this place again.
