Had a great meal with attentive service and delicious food.
Traditional dining in downtown Annapolis. Nice old style feel with up to date menu and great service. Parking is always a challenge.
Mother’s Day brunch was excellent!!!
Mothers Day - Buffet only (no ala carte) and was served upstairs -so it was a long trek from the downstairs dining room. Food was OK...not great. Same for service.
Whet to Harry Brown’s for Mother’s Day. Great experience. Food was very good with a lot of selection. All cooked perfectly. Atmosphere was quiet even with 3/4’s of the restaurant filled. Service was perfect, all drink were filled routinely. Great experience for our party of five.
I will never go back to this restaurant. We were enjoying a very nice Mother's Day brunch until the host told us we needed to be "out in 5 minutes for another reservation". We had been there almost an hour, were finishing our meal, and waiting for a cup of coffee my wife had ordered. The server hadn't brought the check yet, and the host never even spoke to the server (we know because our table was right near the door).
I'm appalled that a restaurant would have such shameful customer service.
Mothers Day Brunch was wonderful. Service was quick and the staff was very attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing and scenic
The service was slow at first but then, it got better. The food was very good except the mussels. We got the mussels only bec they didn’t have little
Neck clams for an appetizer. Overall, it was a very good dining experience.
Excellent location, food selection and quality, attendant service and management friendliness. This is now a permanent stop for our trips to Annapolis.
I shouldn’t say it this way but HB’s was excellent as usual. Excellence is what I have come to expect and we were not disappointed. We always have great food and great service at a reasonable price. Try it if you have not already. I’m sure you will be happy you did.
An all time favorite which disappointed me for a special night out with good friends. Most especially the service was inadequate. We waited nearly 30 minutes before any drinks were served and then waited for our dinner order to be taken. Midway through dinner there was a minor flood apparently from an equipment malfunction which led to a frenzied staff and less than relaxing atmosphere. Although 3 of 4 dinners were excellent, our 4th was extremely disappointing (poorly cooked rib eye with dried out twice baked potato.) We hope this was a one-off night as I often recommend Harry Brownes as "never disappointing."
Ate in the bar area. Super loud. Food was great and they were happy to split a plate. Drinks were good. The matre’ d Alex is the best guy in the place!
Great, as always! My friend and I had a most enjoyable lunch at Harry Browne's yesterday. I highly recommend the blackened tuna and arugula salad.
4/5 of the group was very pleased with the food; all getting varieties of the Eggs Benedict. The 5th guest got an omelette described as bland. Fresh fruit with each dish was very fresh. The place was not overly crowded but only 2 waiters attended the room and service was slower than wished, but the waiter was friendly.
The restaurant was perfect for our 25th wedding anniversary. I will definitely go back for a special occasion.
Excellent meal, attentive service and all around great dinner. We enjoyed our evening!
Great atmosphere to celebrate a dinner with family.
Great restaurant in a historic location. Excellent American fare in a warm, quiet atmosphere. We should commit to visiting Harry Browne’s more often.
Wonderful food and service.
Wonderful Easter brunch experience. Reasonably priced, very accommodating with 8 year old and loved Bloody Mary bar! We will be back when we visit again.
Went for Easter Brunch and it was fantastic. Brunch included lobster tails!
Quiet elegance! Brunch is great and comes with either a Mimosa or champagne. Good selection
We love this place!
It's hard to find a really fine restaurant in Annapolis. I hoped Harry Browne's would be it, but it doesn't quite get there. The calamari were the highlight of the meal - light, crisp, tender, great dipping sauce. The shrimp and scallops with risotto had good flavor, but the risotto was undercooked and still had a hard chew in the middle of the kernels. I enjoyed the beet salad, but the flourless chocolate cake was a disappointment. It was flavored with cinnamon but did not state that on the menu and I happen not to like the combination. Also, a touch of cayenne can boost the flavor of chocolate, but the chef was too heavy handed here. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service, and I'd certainly come here again for the calamari, but the rest of the menu needs some tweaking.
Son’ Command ceremony. Great food, roomy Table, excellent ambiance. We went upstairs for a drink after, great bar too.
Best cream of crab soup I ever had, phenomenal crab cakes and warm and personable service.
Appetizer was minimal and a bit too eclectic. The tagliatelle bolognese was outstanding Upscale restaurant. Nice atmosphere. However the person who sat us had an attitude when we asked to be moved because the Lily’s were causing severe allergic reaction. Server was good and exceptionally accommodating
Dinner at Harry Browne’s was superb. We came for Restaurant Week and had a reservation for 6:30. We had forgotten that the Caps were playing at the Navy stadium and traffic was a mess. Parking was practically nonexistent. The friendly folks at Harry Browne’s held our table and told us not to worry (and they held it for almost 45 minutes before we were able to get there and park!). The atmosphere was very nice — cozy, warm, and inviting. Our server was the best. Even with our late arrival, he didn’t try to rush us. He made us feel special, as though we were the only diners there. Both the steak Diane and the twin lobster tails were delicious. The risotto that came with the lobster was perfect. We both had the creme brûlée for dessert — it was so tasty and rich, we couldn’t finish it. We will definitely be going back sometime soon!
We went for restaurant week and were disappointed with the service and food.
Disappointing. Went for restaurant week and risotto was not hot, was too al dente, lobster tails were good but again, nothing was very hot. Salad was very good! Nice atmosphere, pretty location acceptable service but overall disappointed in food.
Birthday celebration for an old friend.
As always harry Browne's shone in Restaurant Week Annapolis. The four of us enjoyed excellent first courses and a variety of well prepared mains. My spouse did not think the vegetarian lasagna was not so good since the vegetables were not cooked well enough for a lasagna.
The rest of us really enjoyed porchetta and steak!
Downstairs it is the best higher dining experience in Annapolis and always my "go to" place for special occasions. Upstairs is more casual and a great for "everyday dining".
Great food and service.
Terrific meal, service and ambiance!
Great meal, super service and unbelievably setting.
Train wreck! 9:00 pm lights out , music off ! We were pretty much told it was time to leave! Big disappointment !
Best cream of crab soup in Annapolis. The filet was perfect. Service was excellent. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be going back.
Food and service were excellent. Had a drink at bar upstairs after dinner, environment was very cozy & bartender very friendly
Excellent all around experience. The only slight disappointment was that there was no notice on Open Table or otherwise that there was a special Valentine ‘s Day menu. Nevertheless, everything was great!
