Lucky to get an outside table on a beautiful afternoon, our meal was fine, the house wine especially good and our server pleasant and efficient. But she definitely had too many tables inside to take care of the outside diners. Not her fault and everything eventually came out as we had ordered
Reasonably priced and great food. Service is always friendly and accommodating.
Service and ambiance outstanding. Main courses of beef and pork were average to poor. Appetizers and wine were very good. Parking arrangement with cart taking you to a garage was nice
Found this great restaurant on a weekend vacation. Nice quiet , cool, relaxing and perfect ambiance for the end of a wonderful day.
Food was great and the service was even better! Will be going back soon!
I love Harry Browne’s! This was my third visit fir Sunday Brunch. What a great meal, great service and fabulous value. Im going to become a “regular.”
Great food, wonderful service. Has the feel of a classic Manhattan restaurant. Party of four all enjoyed entrees including both steak and seafood. Timing of everything was just about perfect. Wine list was solid, not over-the-top and the prices per bottle were reasonable. Highly recommend for somewhat formal occassiins.
I booked my reservation based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. My meal was delicious I had the crab Benedict with hash browns and fresh fruit. The complimentary Mimosa was a nice touch and yogurt parfait was delicious as well. I will definitely be back.
My wife and I had dinner for my birthday and every thing was excellent. I had the rack of lamb and my wife has the salmon. Both were excellent. I would not go there when the Capital is in session. It will be full of politicians and lobbyists.
Amazing Dinner and evening
We had not been here for a long time...but this evening was amazing.
Sunday evening ... very quiet...fabulous service and the food was terrific!
Be sure to try the Crab Empanadas... the cheese plate was wonderful
Our waiter took time to explain the main courses... and to stage the main course
after we had time to enjoy our libations and unwind from a hectic week.
They also have a separate room upstairs for larger parties... which is very
helpful. Delightful location on the Circle... Beautiful decor... we will be back soon!
Another great meal at Harry Browne’s! Not sure if there is a new chef, but the menu has changed and the food is even better!
Perfect setting in Annapolis for a birthday lunch on State Circle.
This restaurant is a must if you are visiting Annapolis. Excellent service, good food and ambiance with a beautiful view of the State Capital (the best table is by the front window). Prices are a little high, but a great overall experience.
We were seated near several loud tables which detracted from our overall dining experience, but the chef did a fabulous job. The crab cakes were excellent — lump meat served with a tasty sauce, asparagus, and perfect hush puppies. I look forward to returning.
We have attended Harry’s twice now and we have added Harry’s to our favorite place to dine. We eat out regularly. We like being treated like family when we dine out!
Just an excellent all around meal, service and experience!
We celebrated our anniversary there. We had a delicious dinner with a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a quiet dinner.
Food was good and portions were bigger than expected. Service was good but not quite the caliber that I've had at similar types of restaurants. We were celebrating an anniversary and had noted it in the reservation but nothing was mentioned or done during the entire meal. The least that could have happened was a mention of it when seating us. As for seating we made a reservation and yet we got the table right by the window with the sun right in my husband's face and there were plenty of open tables (not in the sun) that were available and never used during our time there. Overall it was a good meal but there was nothing that made me feel like we'd have to go back next time we were in town.
Great service: professional and attentive.
This restaurant is much cosier than it appears in the photo.
Definitely try the crab bisque. Best ever: large chunks of crab in a delicious creamy base that is well seasoned with appropriate spice.
The rack of lamb was perfection: crisp savory crust, and pink juicy inside.
The crab cake look a bit suspect in the photos that are posted. Ignore! They ate wonderful: large pieces of crab and well seasoned.
Excellent wine list. A bit limited by the glass, but good choices are available.
Two waiters and the owner went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
Everything was wonderful but I do have one suggestion. With the large amount of retirees in Annapolis, if you all could provide a bathroom facility on the main floor that would be such a huge help. A lot of steps to get up to the top floor especially for someone in their 80s and 90s who are still active and go out. It’s always nice to remember that Population as it’s not always easy for them.
We were there for brunch on Father ‘s day and everything was excellent. Our server was Ryleigh and she was outstanding. The restaurant is across the street from the Maryland State House and the ambience was refined yet relaxing. Will go back. Complimentary Mimosas were a nice touch.
We love to eat here when visiting Annapolis. Wonderful people with wonderful service!
Harry Browne’s never disappoints. Delicious food and great service in a beautiful, quiet, upscale setting.
The oysters had some shell in all 12 we had, otherwise the food would have been 5 stars.
Our experience was fantastic. We were promptly seated, and our waiter Eric was fantastic. We had the window seat, which allowed great people watching on a Friday night. Recommended wine was fabulous. Arancini and mussels were fabulous. My husband got the crab cakes, which had a mustard sauce on them that was very good. I had the shrimp & scallops over risotto, and it was also very good. We were too stuffed at that point to try dessert.
Excellent ambiance, food and service (although server was not well versed on the wine)
Fine restaurant with good food, nice service, and excellent setting. Had window seat with a view of the Maryland Capital. We enjoyed.
Excellent for our 23rd Anniversary!
Had a great meal with attentive service and delicious food.
Traditional dining in downtown Annapolis. Nice old style feel with up to date menu and great service. Parking is always a challenge.
Mother’s Day brunch was excellent!!!
Mothers Day - Buffet only (no ala carte) and was served upstairs -so it was a long trek from the downstairs dining room. Food was OK...not great. Same for service.
Whet to Harry Brown’s for Mother’s Day. Great experience. Food was very good with a lot of selection. All cooked perfectly. Atmosphere was quiet even with 3/4’s of the restaurant filled. Service was perfect, all drink were filled routinely. Great experience for our party of five.
I will never go back to this restaurant. We were enjoying a very nice Mother's Day brunch until the host told us we needed to be "out in 5 minutes for another reservation". We had been there almost an hour, were finishing our meal, and waiting for a cup of coffee my wife had ordered. The server hadn't brought the check yet, and the host never even spoke to the server (we know because our table was right near the door).
I'm appalled that a restaurant would have such shameful customer service.
Mothers Day Brunch was wonderful. Service was quick and the staff was very attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing and scenic
The service was slow at first but then, it got better. The food was very good except the mussels. We got the mussels only bec they didn’t have little
Neck clams for an appetizer. Overall, it was a very good dining experience.
Excellent location, food selection and quality, attendant service and management friendliness. This is now a permanent stop for our trips to Annapolis.
I shouldn’t say it this way but HB’s was excellent as usual. Excellence is what I have come to expect and we were not disappointed. We always have great food and great service at a reasonable price. Try it if you have not already. I’m sure you will be happy you did.
An all time favorite which disappointed me for a special night out with good friends. Most especially the service was inadequate. We waited nearly 30 minutes before any drinks were served and then waited for our dinner order to be taken. Midway through dinner there was a minor flood apparently from an equipment malfunction which led to a frenzied staff and less than relaxing atmosphere. Although 3 of 4 dinners were excellent, our 4th was extremely disappointing (poorly cooked rib eye with dried out twice baked potato.) We hope this was a one-off night as I often recommend Harry Brownes as "never disappointing."
