When we're in Stowe we always go to Harrison's, it's a must for us. Great pomegranate martinis!
Harrison's food rocks! Crispy duck special was so good. Scallops and risotto were perfectly cooked and plentiful. Will definitely go back for more!
Underground and quite small restaurant. Good ambiance. Great service and food.
We enjoyed our meals and immensely. We enjoy every aspect of Harrison's Restaurant!
Outstanding experience. Our food was excellent, our server took great care of us, and the decor is warm and inviting.
Very classy dining experience in quiet, relaxing surroundings with attentive service and wonderful, well-presented food.
We had mozzarella salad and artichoke & spinach dip, followed by scallop risotto and cajun salmon; all of our dishes were just sublime, if we had a 'criticism' it would be that the portions were so generous that we did not have room left for dessert.
Service is perhaps rather slow but to be honest we appreciated that - it was in keeping with the relaxed, just-take-your-time atmosphere.
Prices very reasonable for what was on offer. We will definitely return if we find ourselves in Stowe again.
As always, a lovely evening on the front deck a perfect setting for the delicious cuisine!
We love Harrison's. It is a definite stop anytime we are in Stowe. Food and ambience are second to none. Highly recommend!!!
Ambiance was wonderful, my wife's shrimp dish was wonderful, my ny strip was well prepared with a wonderful sauce, but the quality of the beef was AA at best. Would have expected a much more tender quality for the price.
Found the restaurant hard to locate, signage was poor.
Food was good but meal felt rushed (soup and entree and we were done in 45 min!). Also, my wife ordered the osso buco special - it was good but REALLY big. She barely ate half and walked away feeling bad about wasting food - wish the waitress would have warned her!
Fabulous meal, quaint dining room located in the lower level.
The crab cakes and tuna were excellent and I am very, very fussy about both.
Celebrated my wife's birthday. The service and the food was excellent as we have come to expect at Harrison's.
Our family has been dining at Harrison's for many years. Each time we visit, our meal is outstanding. The atmosphere, the service and the meal have always been consistantly great!
Delicious food. Scallops, trout, salmon. All wonderfully prepared with creative, but sensible sauces and sides. Some of the best crab crakes... crab rather than bread.
Food was very good. Price was reasonable for the good quality.
Quality food with a nice outdoor seating area. Menu varies with the season and the daily specials are always intriguing if not always appealing. Great imagination in put into the kitchen often with wonderful results.
We've been here before and loved it both times. The experience could not be better. This time it was my wife's birthday and not only a great meal was had but she saw her favorite MLB player on the way out, Dustin Pedroia! Can't beat it.
We drove to Stowe just to send 2 night and have 2 meals at Harrison's. Delicious and well presented food. I had scallops and my friend Prime rib sandwich and both meals were super delicious. Will be back for sure. MAKE reservations since not only tourists go but also the locals for special occasions. That mu st tell you something.
Harrison's was a great experience for us. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We needed to switch to a different table and they were extremely helpful in solving this issue. The food and service were excellent. We look forward to returning again and enjoying, thank you.
Very nice atmosphere with a good menu, excellent wine list and unusual cocktails. Also more reasonable $ than most comparable choices in the area.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Go once and you will be back.
We eat here a few time a year and have never been disappointed. The service is wonderful and the food is even better.
Nice atmosphere and good food. Our server could have been more attentive. Overall Harrison's is revommended.
There were 6 of us, 2 teenagers. We all enjoyed our meals.
Great service and very good food.
Menu was varied with many dishes.
I would say prices were high moderate
The service was poor and the seating very uncomfortable. That said, the food was quite good.
We dined at Harrison's while on vacation. The food was above average but not outstanding. Better than most other restaurants in Stowe, however. Our favorites were Doc Ponds and Piecasso. Service was good. Very small, so you'll need reservations.
Harrison's a must when at Stowe! We ate there twice during our week stay!
Delicious dinner in very relaxed setting - I highly recommend!
Third time at Harrison's. All meals have been VERY good; highly recommend this restaurant!
Great service and food at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend it to others.
One of our most favorite restaurants in Stowe. Need to reserve early especially over weekends. The quality of foods is constantly excellent.
A cozy restaurant right in Stowe village. Situated downstairs, booths are comfortable, food is served at the bar, and it is very busy. Our waitress was attentive and not hovering, which I like. Fresh oysters were wonderful; salads were fresh and the dressings imaginative. Mains arrived, and my companion's filet was way over medium rare. But he said it was very tasty. The waitress asked how we liked our meals too late to get a replacement, and my companion reported the meat over cooked. She offered to replace it; he told her it was still delicious, and that was that. Later when she presented the bill, she told us they took his dish off the bill. You bet we'll be back. It showed me that they really want each guest to perfectly enjoy his/her meal.
Our family of 5 is in town for a hiking vacation. Harrison's is in a convenient location. Plenty of things to choose from on the menu. Traditional choices but unique offerings too. Great waitress. Nice ambiance on the patio.
My 91 year old mother loves Harrison's because the entire staff are very friendly, kind, and go out of their way to make the experience a pleasant occasion. We go once per year while we are on vacation. It is our favorite restaurant.
harrisons is great for everything! amazing food, great staff, local beers, you can't go wrong! our new favorite spot
Our 3 courses were absolutely delicious, however we totally felt rushed. They had us out of there in 1 hour and 5 minutes
We told them it was our anniversary and my husbands birthday but nothing special offered:(
A favorite place. Good wine list and a varied menu that pleases everyone.
East here at least twice when we're in the area.. We all love the food here. I don't like red meat, my son is a vegetarian, and my husband likes to try something different. He's had duck and venison and things I don't usually make at home. Every dish was awesome. You're full when you leave, but your taste buds want more. The drinks are also creative and awesome. Make reservations to make sure you get in when you want. We've never had to wait for our table to be ready. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. A great eating experience all around
Excellent meal and service, this is our fourth year celebrating our anniversary at Harrison's.
