Food did not have much taste. The wine list needs to be updated with products you actually have in stock. Tried to buy a bottle of wine. 3 wines in order all out of stock. Didn’t end up purchasing a bottle of wine. I was recommended a bottle of wine finally which the server said that the sommelier said was close in price. But recommendation was over 4 times the price of wine that I was looking to spend. I understand up sell but going from. $70 bottle to a $255 bottle of wine seems a little extreme.

The service was good, the smoked salmon had gone beyond its best before date and was tired, the fruit accompanying it was inedible the strawberries were old and mushy.

Invited 2 guests for lunch because previous visit was great. This time, service was terrible, food was cold, our meals all came at different times and each one was cold , so some were sent back, then the re-do’s arrived at different times so the 3 of us were all eating at different times. We supposedly had a team of 3 servers but none appeared even once for over an hour while we waited for our food. So, chaotic kitchen and hopeless service. And the restaurant was only half full. No excuses, folks. Manager eventually appeared, very apologetic and comped our meals. She agreed our experience was a disaster, start to finish. I don’t think this is a one-time problem. Very disappointing experience, especially when hosting out of town guests and a birthday. I dont normally make a big deal about the occasional bad experience but this was beyond the worst ever. Sadly, the food itself wasn’t too bad, and would have been even better if served hot and in a timely way. 😢

Great food when it arrives, service was slow but nice staff and great atmosphere and lovely vibe to it! Just slow service lets it down and lack of asking for drinks

Waited forever for drinks and an hour and 30 mins to get our food which was just a couple of salads. Don't go there when a hockey game is on. They weren't prepared for how busy they were. Everyone was very nice and the food was good when it finally came. They tried to make it right with a discount but I'm not sure if we will be back.

I asked for a booth facing the bar or a low table around the fireplace, the restaurant was empty and they gave us a booth close to the bathroom (far left). This was because I had a 2 year old with me. I asked them why they placed me on the opposite end where other children were sitting? The restaurant was empty. They told that me that is where I’ve been placed. I told them I’d like to sit where I had requested, they said it’s all booked. I told them, “look at all the empty tables. Do you want me to watch for the next hour to see if the tables actually fill up?” I eventually gave up and sat where they wanted me to sit. 15 minutes later another mother and her children had the same issue. The mother threatened the restaurant to leave if they did not sit her on the side closer to the televisions so the restaurant gave her a table exactly where I had requested to sit.

Came here for my birthday - party of 7. Wasn't pleased with the service. Constantly reminding the server to provide glasses, table nakpins and cutlery. You'd think with a reservation the table would be set. Service was slow, which is fine when they're busy. But come address your table, our drinks were empty to a point we didn't want another. Neglect was at a high which can throw off the whole experience/dinner. Bad experience, especially for locals.
