   Get in early before the games start. After that it becomes difficult to have conversations at a normal level.

   The restaurant was not crowded we got there. We placed our order. Waited 20 minutes for the weather to come back with coffee and drinks. It was 12 o’clock and it soon became a football crowd noise level was deafening. The way that was terrible.

   Been meaning to come here for a while and so glad we did! Good drinks, okay wine, good beer selection. The fried chicken was near perfect as was the chicken and waffles. A few, though not many, options for vegetarians but the quinoa salad my friend had was excellent. I just went for the burger and was very happy. Sat outside (almost all covered) on a weeknight, wasn't too crowded and we sat there for almost three hours. So much nicer than crowding into one of the sidewalk or curbside shed. Lots of TV's showing sports if you're into that too. All in all, we'll be back.

   Beer Garden setting crossed with sportsbar, this popular tavern was perfect for dinner before a Flamenco performance nearby. Daily specials of Salmon burger & Ribs were both very tasty. Party atmosphere with one male server doing dance moves with a fan…lots if fun.

    Our server was a disaster! It took forever just to get a water refill. My wife asked for a 2nd glass of wine but in his detached dance craze, he never responded. When prompted again he addressed her as “princess” and made an off hand comment about needing to serve others in the kingdom & told her to relax. He’s lucky he was tipped…

    The brunch menu was deceit. Good variety of foods for a reasonable price. Our Brunch party food consistent of chicken and waffles, salmon benedict and steak and eggs. Which were all party good. The waiter was attentive at correcting an order due to food allergies. Overall not a bad experience

    Had a 12:00 noon brunch reservation so was seated promptly. After receiving water we sat for 10-15 minutes waiting to be served. Finally one of the staff who was not a waiter realized we hadn’t been served and took our order. Our waitress did surface shortly after this and was very attentive. Our omelets were well cooked, but I found the tomato flavor in the potatoes a little jarring to the taste buds; needed ample salt and pepper to blunt the acidity. My wife thought they were fine though. Harlem Tavern still remains a favorite NYC spot for us.

    The atmosphere was hot and pumping. Our waitress was very polite and attentive. She was very friendly and really catered to us. The food was also very good. Prices are really great and there’s something on the menu for anyone. Overall a great evening dining. Definitely will be returning again.

    Nice patio area and mellow vibe so there's potential, but the food is just meh. The truffle fries had no truffle flavor, the burgers and sliders were overdone, the hot wings still had feathers on them and the salmon in the salad was dry. The fish tacos were delicious and the chicken wrap was good as well. Service was attentive.

    First time visiting and we had a great time. The drinks were delish and the food was amazing. Only complaint was that the short ribs were a tad bit too salty and the sauce was over reduced. I did express it to the server. Other than that, I look forward to visiting again.

    Our waitress was the worst , she took forever even though we were the only people there , it was a horrible experience and we won’t be back . People who came after us got there food before us and left , while we waited.

    Great ambiance. Good live music. We went on a Sunday. Warm it was 90 degrees outside. Awesome drinks and food was good. Nice spot to eat outside and get some good drinks at a fair price in Harlem.

    Waitress didn't take drink orders until we'd been seated for 30 minutes; food orders not taken for another 30 minutes, then food didn't start to arrive for yet another 30+ minutes. We were a large party. Food came out one or two plates at a time, with 15 minutes in between. Some orders were duplicated, others never showed up. Additional drink orders took 30 minutes. Never again.

    Our reservation was for an 11am Mother’s Day brunch. We got there at around 10:50. We were told they didn’t open until noon even though I multiple confirmations for an 11am reservation. We were not the only ones who showed up with a reservation. Someone messed up either with the open table system or their staff scheduling. Either way they weren’t apologetic and could do nothing for us. They didn’t offer us to sit and wait until noon. They said come back and maybe we can seat you. It was MOTHERS DAY. Where else could we go??!! Reservations are booked for weeks. Shame on Harlem Tavern. You ruined Mother’s Day for my family that flew into town for the weekend

    We were a group of six meeting here. Actually had brunch and returned later for drinks and appetizers. Great ambience. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value. Good food. We will definitely return! Enjoyed the outdoor seating the most!

    First time here on rec from my brother who lives in the neighborhood. Sunday brunch was lively with music and my two toddlers had a blast. It was casual and fun and the price was right. We enjoyed the chik and waffles, gumbo and cod sandwich. All were great. Kids meals were just what they needed. Will def return

    I celebrated my birthday there o Monday! This was not my first time eating there, since I was there for lunch the previous week. Why come back with friends and family? I love the variety of items on the menu. There is something for the meat eater, the seafood lover, salads and burgers. The service was excellent. Our server came to the table, gave us time to get settled, and took our drink orders. If you love mac & cheese, you will love it here. Fried chicken here is crispy and crunchy like I like it. We also ordered the cheesecake for dessert which was excellent.

    Harlem Tavern is a great place to hang out and connect with friends. I love that there is enough space to accommodate seating for large groups. i like the tv screens placed throughout. i would like a more extensive brunch menu. Will definitely visit again.

    Very nice , food was very good. Loved it. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was that i went for happy hour and we were charged at regular price for drinks and we chose to go at that time to enjoy happy hour specials. We got there at 5:30pm. The waiter did not specify or explain on that aspect. Other than that I was happy with the visit.
