Good food. We liked the owner. He spent time at our table chatting. Very nice man. Would go back as we love middle eastern food.

When we walked into the restaurant on a Wednesday evening for dinner, we were not acknowledged. A man was on the phone behind the bar and a server looked at us but stood aside and just stared at the man on the phone. It was very awkward. There was only one other table with patrons. After finally being seated, the service continued to be awful. The food was very bland and my friend's seafood skewer was well under cooked. I won't be back.

An incredibly wonderful take on Eastern Mediterranean dishes! The authenticity of the dishes made you feel like you were in that region of the world! Very authentic, very creative, very good!

Harissa was closed when we went there for our lunch reservation. I don't know how Opentable and the restaurant could let this happen- we were left to find another restaurant last minute for our lunch celebration. It was a complete disappointment. Harissa, please fix your hours online and with Opentable, or warn your potential patrons of any last minute closure. Opentable, please be more diligent with this type of thing. I will not use an unreliable service.

The four of us had a great meal at Harissa Mediterranean Cuisine last week-end. The part owner was our server and was welcoming and friendly. He described their special wine offerings and even gave us Happy Hour pricing, although we were a few minutes past 6:00. We all ordered a the Malbec, which was fabulous, and he gave us a generous pour (more like 9 oz than 6). We also shared the mixed mezze, which included hummus, a roasted tomato chutney, tzatziki, and baba ganouj. They were all good but the tomato chutney really stood out. The pita bread was fresh and included sprinkles of feta. We got a second helping with no extra charge. We each ordered one of the specials. Mine was a stuffed zucchini with lamb and vegetables. My husband ordered the lamb stew. It also came with saffron scented rice. They were all really good. And, then the owner brought us amazing baklava on the house! A great value and wonderful food and really warm service. We will be back!

Everything we had there was beyond delicious. The special Syrian appetizer was unique and helped raise awareness through food culture. The hummus was out of this world. My husband had the lamb kabob and I had the seafood kabob. Came with salads and the sides were delicious too. I can't wait to go back. We recommend everything we ate!

We tried this place for the first time last week before going to a play at the Bath House in Green Lake. We really love Lebanese/Middle Eastern food and are always looking for a Good/New place.

The food was flavorful enough, but on the oily/greasy side. One of us had the Chicken Kabob and the other the Lamb Meatball Stew special of the day. The chicken was a nice long skewer, but did not have a lot of flavor from being marinated - we're used to lots of lemon and garlic. The Garlic Sauce was good - a side dish would have been nice for chicken. The rice could have had less butter/oil and seemed a little pasty. The lamb meatball stew had good flavor - but again had an unnecessary layer of oil (olive?) sitting on top. The usually offer a choice of Caesar or Lebanese salad, but were out of Caesar dressing, and it was early on a week night with very few customers.

There was a nice selection of wines, including several Lebanese, and some good beers. We did not have time to try the Baklava - the only desert on the menu.

It's worth a try and we may go again - really depends on your tastes and expectations.

The appetizer combo with the 4 dips and fresh pita is the best! I'd go there just for that.

What a fabulous find!! The best pita bread ever. The hummus is to die for and the lamb is delicious. The owner goes above and beyond in service and in homemade everything.
This is our new favorite place.

Hairissa is a neighborhood restaurant for us. It features Lebanese food and everything we have had has been very good. Especially noteworthy is Walid's Combination Plate, four different dips served with wonderful pita bread. The dips are hummus, grilled eggplant dip, labneh, and a tomato salsa. All are wonderful, and there is ample portions in this appetizer (essentially, a meal in itself). I'm very fond of the felafel, which are crispy and tasty, served over a buttery rice with tomatoes and feta sprinkled in. Also of note is their bruschetta (I know, at a Lebanese restaurant?) which is tasty with lovely grilled bread, feta, tomatoes, and spices. The music which was soft Brazilian, was just lovely and a wonderful accompaniment to our lovely meal.

Great Service and food!
Our server was very informative and attentive. His suggesting on food quantity was right on! The food was delicious and plenty. It's a great value for the price. The baklava was excellent! It was not too sweet or too dry. The server suggested that we use out hands to eat the baklava and he was right. Love the location and WE are certainly coming back! By the way, they make their own pita bread and it was absolutely the best we have had!

A horrible service experience with marginal food. Here is the timeline for a typical Saturday evening dining experience and the place wasn't even half way full.

610 arrival
620 ordered dinner
730 salads showed up only after speaking to three different servers
745 dinner showed up only after asking several more times and telling the staff that we were leaving in ten minutes if dinner didn't show up.

The most embarrassing part is that the owner actually had the nerve to charge me for the entire dinner. I paid all 108 dollars for marginal food and the worst service I have experienced in years. We will never be back and will never recommend this establish to anyone. How embarrassing to make someone wait over an hour for dinner, ignore them the entire time and then have the nerve to charge them for it.

They told us a wedding party had reserved the entire restaurant after 730. Our reservation was for 7pm and they told us we could order and eat/be gone by 730, or there was nothing they could do for us. I made the reservation well in advance and they never tried to call or email me about the wedding party. Was very disappointing and unfriendly. We had to spend another hour finding another restraurat to eat at at peak time during a Saturday night.

My wife and I had the two specials of the day- lamb chops that were succulent, and a lamb meatball stew-like soup that was delicious and a giant serving. Finished off with perfect cup of Turkish coffee and baklava. Our server- the owner - was charming without being intrusive. A great experience.

Delicious food but definitely a bit overpriced for the portion sizes you get. I highly recommend any of the mezes to start and the pita bread that comes with that is delicious! Clearly freshly made with each order. It is far from the pita bread you will buy in stores. One huge complaint is that they did not tell us that they will charge for extra bread. We ordered the meze sampler and definitely needed more than 1 piece of pita and so we were quite surprised when the bill came. The kabobs, falafels and stews are all so good. Service was incredibly slow to the point that everyone at our table was wondering where our food was, but we were in no rush so we didn't say anything.

They encourage sharing of courses, which makes the meal very reasonable.

We were there for an early dinner on a Thursday night, it was quiet and not yet busy.
The food was very good.
We had Cesar Salad, prawn, beef & chicken kabobs, the meat was flavorful & very tender.
We had the humus & pita, very good!
We will return, enjoyed it very much.
Our waitperson was very helpful with the menu & had a friendly personality.

I'll be honest, my wife and I passed by this place a hundred times in the neighborhood but never tried it because it seemed like just another mediterranean spot, and we liked the pub at 3rd place books for hummus, falafel, etc. We got an Amazon Local deal though just to try it and we were both pleasantly surprised. The food was really really tasty and the inside ambience was much better than expected. We weren't even able to use our deal because we ordered off the lunch menu, and we didn't care! That's how good of an all around experience it was.

This was the second time we ate at Harissa in the past two weeks, because we love the food! The pilaf is excellent, the spices on the kebabs are very tasty. We really like the caesar salad too, which is not too heavy on the dressing. Service is very good, and the ambiance in the restaurant is nice. Highly recommended!

Delicious food with generous portions. We both had the lamb platter, which I recommend. Interesting wine list, including some Lebanese wines. We also tried an appetetizer, which was called a salad on the menu, but was more like a salsa that we scooped onto pieces of hot pita bread.

They also have a patio, which we looked at, but chose to eat inside because it's still spring and a bit chilly. However, it looks like it would be fun on a warm summer evening.
