Food was awesome and got to us quickly. Ordered the truffle burrata as a starter and the stuffed eggplant and steak as entrees, I would highly recommend everything. The service was especially wonderful, and our server had a great sense of humor!
Evan was our server and he was so friendly. We're in our 50's and feel right at home, which is why this has become a go-to Friday night spot for us.
I’ve loved the menu here but the service is also amazing. I’m going tk recommend having our office party here as well.
Amazing food & excellent service as usual!
Fun place with a hip vibe and great cocktails. Relatively small menu, but dishes were very fresh and good. The restaurant setting is very cool in an old historic building. Would definitely go back.
Average. On line said great cocktails, I make a better Manhattan so I switched to beer. Fodd was average. Great service though.
It was a little loud. I would recommend sitting towards the back of the restaurant.
Always a favorite neighborhood local. Great, top quality food, friendly, professional service, and fun ambiance. Never disappointed!! Thank You, Harding's!
Excellent food, especially the tuna tartare, the grilled branzino, and the griddle cake for dessert. The service was super friendly, and the drinks were delicious. Try the “Cumberland Falls,” for a twist on how good rye can be!
Went for a holiday happy hour with my team on a Monday and we were able to find a great space by the bar to hang out all night.
Service was really slow They compt. Us for the delay but overall it was really bad
I had to get up a few times to ask for things we needed It was a mess
I love it how warm the staff always is with kids. They make my life so much easier. Thank you!
Lucked into this place. Bar was busy, but easy to get service. Loved the food. The flatbreads and the chicken.
More noise than usual. Impossible to hold a conversation on a Friday night at a table for 2
This place is great for everything! Family brunch or dinner, drinks w friends, special occasions! Food and service always excellent, atmosphere always excellent. Highly recommend this place for every occasion.
Marvelous dinner. Lobster Mac and cheese is amazing.
Well priced, great portion size, nice ambiance and wasn't too noisy.
French visiting NY and choosse Harding’ For thanksgiving and it was awesome !!!! Thank you so much !
A very expensive meal given how ordinary it was.
Beautiful restaurant though.
Hostess was lovely, wait staff was confused and not on their A game.
My new favorite place in this neighborhood! Great food, great vibe. The one thing was the bartender couldn't remember us - and the place just wasn't that busy. Hmmm. Other than that - I am going back!
Went with our two kids for an early dinner. Excellent dishes all around from the grilled octopus salad, tuna tartare, pasta dishes and burger. Desserts were excellent, drinks tasty and service was on form!
I recently celebrated buying a wedding gown on Sunday. The restaurant had a very cool vibe and the food was good. The warm pastry basket was amazing. However, the wait staff was not very knowledgeable and it took quite awhile to place an order and we were barely checked up on. The waiter seemed scattered and even said he wasn't used to working there and 2 of our meals were incorrect.
I stumbled upon this place by simply googling Brunch Spots in NYC, and with this first experience, I may have just found myself a regular spot I’d like to go to. Seriously a great experience!
The lobster Mac & Cheese was to die for, the waiter was very kind
The restaurant is in a beautiful space. It has high ceilings and is very opened. The food was good and the staff was friendly.
Great place for a casual business lunch near Madison Sq Park and Gramercy Park
So the food was fine but no gluten free Options. No gluten free bread and no non dairy options like coconut or almond milk for my coffee. They need to get up with the times and accommodate other people’s needa
Perfect for a rainy afternoon brunch. Warm and cosy inside, attentive service, delicious food. The mimosa carafe was a great idea and really good value for money.
So pleased we found this gem.
Omlettes on sat is fun especially when it’s chilly out
Harding’s is cozy and friendly
Love the Harding’s omelette
And sides are super fresh
Service is great
Like going to the country without leaving town
Fun place, kind service and some dishes are very good, salmon/kale, and others - homemade pasta dish -are bland V good cocktails and decent wine list Overall it was a fun experience but no huge pull to go back.
We've been to Hardings many times as we used to live in the neighborhood a few years ago. We thought we would go down memory lane and I remember a much friendlier staff about 3 years ago. We started at the bar with prosecco and while at the table decided to get a bottle. The prosecco wasn't listed on the wine list but champagne was and a waiter (not our waiter) told us it would be the same price. Our drinks only arrived at the table just as our appetizers were brought out. And no one checked on us after our entrees were brought out and she wasn't even that busy. My mother in law's vodka martini was the size of a shot and we asked for a bigger glass because she constantly spilled it as she tried to take a sip. We were informed that it would be fine to do that but that the same amount of martini would be poured into the bigger glass. The food is still consistently good after 3 years but the service needs some work from bar to table.
Food was adequate but unexciting. Service was amateurish. Basically it's higher-level bar food, not a special occasion restaurant.
Very good service and great drinks. Loved the atmosphere and low noise level. The food was alright but very overpriced for the quality and quantity.
Food was great and portions ample. Nice selection making it a good place for many palates and preferences.
I ordered perfectly. The asparagus artichoke salad and the roasted half chicken were delicious. Two others in my party had burgers and really liked them. The only disappointment for my husband was the meatball appetizer. He did not like the tomato sauce at all.
With a menu designed to encourage sharing, this is a great place for a get-together with friends. There are many healthier options - interesting salads, veggie sides and fish dishes. The cocktails are all retro-themed, but there are plenty of wine options as well. The octopus salad was a stand out - so was the chocolate cake.
Was a little.. sloppy/dirty. Feel like it looked good at opening, but for a midday meal it was a little under impressive. Perhaps better in the evening when lights are dim and you can't see all the finer details.
the food is so not good. soggy flatbread. soggy salad. meh burger.
just convert the whole space into a bar. forget about the food.
i do like the lighting. that’s all i got
Went for dinner with a friend from out of town. Apps of grilled octopus (great) and flatbread (also great), entrees two burgers and salmon - both good. Would go back if having dinner around Union Square.
