I had not been here in a very long time. We were surprised that only 3 tables had customers, including ours, and it was about noon. I am hoping with the holidays, people had other obligations. The food was good as well as the service. A special place to go for lunch with a friend during the holidays.
The atmosphere at Harding House is friendly and relaxed, with efficient service and easy parking. That said, the food is unremarkable. Taste is more along the lines of hotel conference dinner than the locally-sourced, made-from-scratch fare described on the menu. We go back every few months or so hoping to have a different experience. So far, no luck.
We stopped in before our tour. I had the cranberry pancakes with nuts. They were delicious. We didn't have to wait long. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The menu had some great choices. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other items.
Good menu, good food. Good brunch and lunch spot, and can enjoy the Plantation afterwards.
It was lovely. However, when arriving we were directed to park "up the hill" and it would be right there...which it was not. We found it eventually, but it would have been helpful to have the correct info.
Also, the food was delicious...the bloody Marys were o.k.
This was our first visit to The Harding House...we enjoyed it very much and plan on returning
The food was good, but I was expecting it to be a really pretty place based on the pics on their website. It was very cafeteria looking for Saturday brunch.
Best kept breakfast secret in Nashville. The service is wonderful. Biscuits are too good.
Great neighborhood restaurant with great history & ambience!
The chocolate bread pudding was the best thing I ate all weekend in Nashville. Scrumptious!
enjoyable experience, very good food, good, attentive staff.
we enjoyed a nice brunch at Harding House. The restaurant itself is not much to look at; it's on top of the Visitor's Center. But being on the grounds of the Belle Meade Mansion is nice, and as others have noted, it is worth going for the scratchmade biscuits alone.
This was a small group that does not get together very often. We were able to hear each other, and visit. The food choices were great and our waitress was tremendous. Love the atmosphere and ambiance, will keep on our list for next trip to Nashville with friends.
Excellent service, Excellent food! Not too crowded for early Sunday brunch - cannot wait to come back for dinner!
A birthday celebration for several friends. Wonderful food and service.
have stopped by the winery seveal times and purchased. Tasted, too.
Never thought about dining there. Friends wanted to get together for breakfast and I was to decide. I ran across it on google and saw a divine brunch offered. Just what we wanted!!! No CHAIN restuarants. They came from Hendersonvile and we came from Old Hickory!!! Will go again and have already suggested to family to join. For brunch or lunch!!! Will be a go to now!!!
This ended up being one of my favorite places in Nashville. It’s not very busy which was perfect before a tour of the plantation. Had the deviled eggs which is cooked in beet water and was delicious. For my meal, I had the Cuban sandwich and that was the best sandwich I’ve ever had! The baked beans were also delicious and perfect. Can’t wait to have that again! My friend had the pimento burger which was good along with some really yummy fries
The Shrimp and Grits was the Best. Quick service! Tomato Bisque soup was excellent. Great luncheon get together.
Melt in your mouth bisquits, pimento cheese and green tomato egg rolls were unique and delicious...especially the sauce. The smoked salmon benedict yum! The tomato bisque....best I have ever had! The southern eggs benedict flavorful...enough for two to share.
Pleasantly surprised at price point. Rachel great server! Can't wait to go back!
Service was attentive but ambiance was lacking. We expected something special but wooden tables with catering silverware in a sterilelike setting
Nothing that bespoke of Belle Meade mansion. The food was good and other food around us looked good.
I think this is mainly used for wedding catering.
Our waitress was very professional and you could tell she was a down to earth good person. The host/hostess, waitress/waiter, etc. can make just about any meal enjoyable. But the food was very good by it's self. The whole experience was very enjoyable. We will be back. Thanks!
It was wonderful. The food was great, service good, and I loved how quiet it was.
I loved the ambiance.
Service great. Ambience nice. Food good. Very enjoyable brunch.
Father’s day brunch. We loved it. Two out of three very difficult people to please with food in the party and they said they’ll definitely be back!
Perfect place for Sunday brunch. Killer biscuits and blood orange mimosas. Highly recommend it.
Very good Saturday brunch.
Harding House is always outstanding food and great service. I had never tried a bloody mary until this visit - it was outstanding! Our waitress was great.
Delicious as usual. Oh, the biscuits
Great! The chicken tenders are a must have.
We did the tour of the plantation and had lunch at the Harding House right after. It was very convenient since it’s on the same property. We were able to do our tour, have lunch, then walk the grounds and go shopping. We were a party of 7 and everyone at our table got something different. All the dishes were great and service was great.
mothers day brunch. spicy triple pepper bloody mary had a real spicy kick. Kids loved their pancakes with chocolate chips. Mom loved her french toast. always a nice brunch
Service was rushed. Food was just ok. I really wanted to spend more time enjoying conversation with my children for Mothers Day. Food was delivered within 10 minutes and was not hot. Thank you but will not be returning.
Outstanding food and service this Mother's Day. We were thrilled with our family (kid-friendly) brunch with adult food options and drinks, also. Walking around the plantation added to the visit and excited the kids. And most importantly? BEST BISCUITS IN NASHVILLE. Yup. I said it. Find better biscuits. I dare you.
We went for an early Mother’s Day brunch. We very much enjoyed being on the Belle Meade grounds but expected the inside of the restaurant to have more ambience - maybe more windows or more decor that reflects the historical location. There was also some noise when families with small children arrived so some insulation might help.
But, we all thought the food was spectacular and affordable, and the service was great and attentive.
This was our 3rd time there and it never disappoints. Food is always great!
Great service. Great location at the Plantation for a walk afterwards. Food was fine. Nothing creative nor memorable. Affordable.
Fairly unique menu! I enjoyed the cream of asparagus soup and the quinoa salad.
My parents were in from out of town so we stopped in for a quick lunch. Great experience overall and would certainly return in the future.
