The food was delicious but the service was just ok. I didn't have a spoon to stir my coffee. We were delivered our appetizers prior to receiving plates. I received my soup (which was delicious) and had to wait to catch my waitress's attention to ask for a spoon. She handed me a teaspoon and I had to ask if I could have a soup spoon instead. My coffee wasn't refilled until the end of the meal when I asked.

We enjoyed a relaxed Sunday brunch. Waffles and omelets were tasty. Restaurant was full but not overcrowded. We had a reservation but they had some openings for last minute diners. Would go again.

The brunch is one of the best in Nashville and at a very reasonable price. We always take out of town guests here for brunch because the food and service are consistently excellent,

The mimosas and cheese grits were great. Sweet potato fries very good. Omelets were good; however, one was cooked as ordered. Biscuits taste greasy....too thick and not flakey. The service by Lisa was great as always.

Friends from Houston were in town for the eclipse. They wanted to go to a place with a good Sunday brunch. After talking to a few friends (since I am new in town), I made reservations at the Harding House. Their flight schedule altered slightly, so they arrived in town an hour early. The restaurant staff was more than willing to accommodate our earlier arrival, and the food was delicious. We had blood orange mimosas at the suggestion of the wait staff, and they were delicious as well. An all-around wonderful, fun experience.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful area but the actual restaurant itself is not cozy at all. The service was not the best but the food was valuable.

We went for brunch on a weekend recently. The service and food were good and the menu varied but we didn't find anything to distinguish it from a lot of other places serving brunch. If you think you're going to be sitting in a beautiful historic setting, you're not. You're basically on the grounds of Belle Meade but in a newer room (above the visitors center and gift shop) completely devoid of any character or ambiance. I'd say that if you're there for a tour of the house and grounds, Harding House is a good place to grab a quick lunch before or after your tour but it's definitely not a destination restaurant.

Sunday brunch. Not too crowded. Delicious tomato basil soup and quinoa salad, perfect for light summer lunch. Very reasonable prices. Fun browsing Belle Meade Mansion gift shop afterward (nice having elevator access).

Our server, Joe, was quite friendly and took great care of our group of women. He even took photos for us. Everyone raved about the food & drinks (3 kinds of Bloody Mary's, Mimosas, and champagne). Would definitely recommend - we went on a Sunday, had no wait. I didn't ask, but on the brunch menu I didn't see anything Gluten Free.

We came on Memorial Day weekend very busy good thing we had reservations. Harding House is part of Bell Meade Madison attraction. Food was great started off with a cinnamon roll with raisins very nice presentation and tasty. Then had eggs with cheese and potatoes and bacon. Coffee had chicory taste I guess to be authentic with the Madison's era. I would go back in a heartbeat food was very fresh and good. Service despite being so busy was great.

Visited the Harding House for brunch on Sunday morning. Our reservation was for 10:45 and the restaurant was quite quiet. Nice server and very good caramel rolls and biscuits to start us off. Everyone was pleased with their meal.

We did end up spending time on the Grounds -- paid for the self-guided tour. It was a very nice way to spend a Sunday morning.

Best biscuits we had in Tennessee. So good they did not need butter or jam. Would return just for them but everything else we had was good too.

I was quite disappointed with my Easter brunch. While the service was fine and the drinks were good, the food was mediocre, and not nearly as good as similar price-point restaurants throughout town. I'm not sure if the Easter crowd overwhelmed the kitchen, but I was not impressed. I would not return, except perhaps as a last minute meal while visiting the plantation itself.

Located on the grounds of Belle Meade Plantation this is a wonderful way to end your tour. The food, service and location all combine for a very enjoyable experience.

You may also visit for lunch or brunch without having to tour the plantation

My first visit to Harding House turned out to be an enjoyable brunch with friends. Our bartender/server was very friendly and professional. I ordered the classic eggs benedict and while not the best I've ever had, was pretty good. I plan to visit again at sometime in the future for lunch.

Lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting. The staff was excellent, the server gave us plenty of time for our festivities and orders and meals were well timed, orders received together and well presented. The food was very good, I had the Salmon poached eggs with Hollandaise and it was quite enjoyable. The peach cobbler with vanilla give cream was outstanding! Thank you for accommodating us for our annual holiday fest!

Was for our church small group's Christmas lunch. Food and service was excellent and right for everybody's Christmas budget. Waitress was the best and was calm, cool and collected in serving a large group even when someone in the group spilled water. The whole group loved the choice of Harding House for our group Christmas luncheon.

Our food was delicious. Casual atmosphere - service was a bit spotty. Surprising as it was not overly crowded. It was a Saturday and a popular day to go to the Belle Meade Plantation house to see the Christmas decorations which is why we were there.
