Seating seemed to a problem. Tour groups take the priority. Hostess was not as friendly as other locations. Had to wait to be seated in a room that was closed off from the rest of the restaurant and could not see most of the store. Ruins the point of going to Hard Rock. No family photo that we had gotten at other locations on vacation. We wont do Hard Rock on another vacation.
I took a group of high school students (grades9-11) to DC for conferences. Hard Rock was their choice for dinner one evening. GREAT choice!!!! the food was excellent! service was timely and freindly. Great music...Overall great experience!! Thank you !!
Brittany turned what was going to be a disasterous evening into a great ending to our vacation with her professionalism.
Jasmine our waitress did an outstanding job
I brought my two kids for dinner for a 7:30 reservation. As soon we walked in the vibrant atmosphere captured your attention. The service was excellent and the food came out in a very timely manner. I was very surprised how excellent the food was. I am definitely coming back but for breakfast next time.
Our server, Kanei, made my birthday experience so exciting, it will always be one of my favorite birthday memories of all time! Hard Rock, you are lucky to have an employee in your ranks who loves her job and customers! Thank you for providing me with one of the best moments of my life!
I have been to many HRCs around the world. This one had both the worst food and service of any.
The hostess look annoyed when we arrived and when I told her about a reservation it made it worse. My food was cold and we were forgotten on a regular basis. Would not return. Food was bland and not the Hard Rock I know elsewhere.
We visited the Hard Rock DC for my daughters 10th Birthday while on vacation and traveling for business! It was a blast!! All the staff were great and treated us all like a Rock Star!! They made my daughter feel special with a special Happy Birthday from the staff and patrons! This was her best Birthday ever she said as we left the restaurant!!! The food was great along with the service and facility. This was our families first time at one of your restaurants but definitely not our last!!
Very god experience. Was a little loud, hard to hear
Went with a group of 13 year old girls and their parents. The atmosphere was exciting, friendly, and fun! Kids, adults, and wait staff all around the restaurant joined in with singing and dancing to the music. Food was ok, but with the experience and memories it was worth it. Go with a group of people and you will have a ball. Remember to make reservations as early as possible or you won't get in!
There is always a great atmosphere. Our server was great and very attentive. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. I ordered a press drink and it was delicious. Overall, a great dining experience.
We actually didn't get to eat, as they had two bus loads (literally) of school age kids that overwhelmed the kitchen on a Wednesday night. After sitting for nearly an hour a manager came and apologized and after another 15 minutes we opted to leave so we wouldn't miss the Caps game (we won!) I'm sure the food was great, but I've got no way of knowing.
Hard Rock DC was a great choice for my birthday celebration with my young millennium grown folks. I enjoyed the time well spent with them and they enjoyed checking out all the paraphernalia around the grill. Free birthday treat rocked! Thanks HRC
We had a large group of high school students (28). Our server Kenisha was excellent and Poping the hostess helped keep our group together, even though open table limits the size of the parties you can reserve. We were in town for an event and we could not have been more pleased with the help and care we were given.
Had a great time
The restaurant did not have our open table reservation or a table waiting on us when we got there. Large groups behind us without reservations were seated before us and we waited at our table for a good 10-15 mins before we even got menus. When we did order our food was literally thrown on the table by the runner.
If it weren't for the waiter being such a nice guy, we probably would have walked out. Good person, kind and considerate he did his best among a group that clearly did not really care if the patrons got served or not.
I really should have rated this establishment lower, but the waiter gained it a star.
I seriously doubt I will be going back. Very bad experience.
This is a great place to be for a celebration and rowdy crowd. The staff were very accommodating and location and price can't be beat.
We attended the Women's March and showed up late for our reservation. Part of our party was already seated and they not only accommodated us, but took us in right away and gave us a larger table for the rest of our party. We were exhausted from the March and so were the waiters and waitresses and despite all that was going on they gave us exemplary service.
The food and atmosphere were typical for Hard Rock, however the service was very slow even though they were not crowded. The servers were horsing around, running foot races with each other, etc instead of caring for their customers.
Hostess was rude, didn't even stay
The service was terrible. Like a bunch of kids running the show. Our waitress had to be reminded multiple times for things we asked for and it wasn't even busy. Someone who looked like a cook sullenly delivered our last dish and practically threw it on the table. I love the music concept but I shouldn't have to shout at dinner to be heard. I had no voice left. I'll never go back.
Our server was amazing, too bad I cannot say the same about the food and the food runner. When she brought out our food, she did not have a smile on her face- infant, no personality at all. Sad to say the same when she brought out our entrée. Also, did not warn us that our plate was hot, but did not walk them around to us to place in front of the person who ordered their meal. The plates were hotter than the food on them. The pulled pork was cold and the burger was cooked, but still room temperature. Very disappointing for the amount of money they charge you.
Terry was a great server. The entire staff was professional and helpful.
Had to wait a really long time for our food. Then we wanted dessert and they were out of icecream. Ended up spending almost three hours there and a majority of that time was waiting for our food. The food we did get was good. Waiter was really apologetic.
Typical hard rock food, good but nothing special. However its worth a visit for all rock fans since its a hard rock cafe and a must to see all the memorabilia .
We went here for Christmas Day lunch as we knew it was open. We enjoyed it and would do it again.
I've been here before which is why I recommended this location for a work outing. However, the service and food was not what I remembered. The food was not prepared well and almost none of us finished our plates. My burger was supposed to be well done. It was well burnt! I couldn't eat it! I was embarrased that I recommended this restaurant. It was definitely not worth the $200 I spent for 6 people.
Our reservations were not honored and we were seated 25 min late. Once seated the service was slow and disrupted.
Perfect for for pre Fords Theater show next door. Good food and good service, plus if you're going to the theater next door you get to split a dessert. Sweet!
This wasn't the first time I've been to this particular location. We asked to be seated in a semi-quiet area and we were but then they seated a party of 12 right on top of us. Even the waiter acknowledged that he knew we were seated in the wrong area.
Stonking burgers and chicken. The Burbon infused local option was amazing. The deserts looked amazing.
I was a very good resturant. Very good food, very nice people.
Not enough staff.. waitress was poor on checking on our needs.. food is great!!
Good food, good prices and a overall nice place but our reservation for a table of 7 was completely ignored therefore resulting in a 20 minute wait after reservation time... They had the reservation in their computer but just ignored it.
I made the reservation ahead of time as it was Thankgiving and I wanted to have a nice meal. When I advised the hostess that I had a reservation for one she gave an annoyed look and asked if I wanted to sit at the bar. I advised her that I did not want to sit at the bar and she started visually looking in the bar area and asked if I would sit at one of the high top tables in the bar area. It appeared to me that it was going to a problem if I didn't so I reluctantly agreed. I understand they were busy but I have a right to sit at a table and enjoy a meal by myself as much as the party of 3. The bartender came after a few minutes and was prompt in taking my order but since it was Thanksgiving (and they were busy) it took a bit longer than normal to get the meal on the table. I ordered the ribs and they were 'falling off the bone' as advertised. The side dishes also tasted very good. Mid way into my meal I needed to use the restroom and felt that by leaving my coat on the chair it would indicate that I had not left. When I returned only my drink was left on the table. The bartender offered to replace the portion of ribs that I had left but I wasn't in the mood to wait for the kitchen again. He took $5 off the bill. I was disappointed but realize that accidents do happen.
Good chain experience. Good food and service as well as good music.
Very slow service not friendly
I have been to Hard Rock Cafes around the world and the service here was terrible compared to other locations. We chose it because it is next door to Fords Theatre and we were going to the show. Despite making a reservation, we were seated 30 min after our reservation time. A group of 30+ high school age kids came in -- very loud, and then they left after 20 minutes of mayhem without eating. Despite telling our waiter that we needed to make the show, he disappeared before giving us the check. We barely made the show. Overall, not an experience I would recommend or repeat.
Service was slow, but waitress friendly. There was a large school group there so I was happy I made Saturday night reservations.
