   I’ve visited many Hard Rock Cafes around the world and always looked forward to the experience — they’re usually consistently great. Unfortunately, the one at Times Square NYC was a major disappointment. From the start, the atmosphere felt rushed, like the staff just wanted to get rid of us — maybe because we’re teenagers and they assumed we wouldn’t tip much. Our food and drinks arrived quickly, which was a plus, but the burger looked thrown together and unappetizing — nothing like the quality I’m used to at other Hard Rock locations. The fries, on the other hand, were actually very good. Once we finished eating, we were immediately handed the bill. No one checked in during the meal, no one asked if we wanted another drink or dessert — which is usually standard at Hard Rock. And the restaurant wasn’t even busy, so there was no excuse for rushing us out. Then came the surprise on the bill: instead of charging the combo price for the souvenir glass and drink (as advertised), the glass was charged separately. When I pointed this out, the waitress first spent a while arguing why it couldn’t be changed and gave various excuses — before finally correcting it. It felt like they were hoping I wouldn’t notice or bother. Lastly, I understand tipping culture is different in the U.S., but the way it was aggressively pushed — especially after such poor service — was really off-putting. I’ll still visit other Hard Rock Cafes and continue recommending them, but this NYC location is one I definitely wouldn’t suggest.

   We had a nice time but the music was poorly chosen. We thought that it would be Hard Rock but got half-assed pop music.

   We have been to multiple Hard rock restaurants and this was the worse. Food was very basic nothing special, disappointing especially with how expensive it is. No guitars in drinks or flags in food sound little but you want the full experience when you’re there.

   Had a fab visit to Hard Rock Times Square. Food was great and our server Mia was brilliant.

    We have been to the Hard Rock in Orlando before and so we expected the same sort of environment however it seemed very dated and tired and there wasn't very much memorabilia about. There was no 'WOW' factor that I expected. the food was quickly served and I'd ordered the ribs, some of which were cold while others were hot. Quite a disappointing experience and night really and I had attended for my birthday but there was no mention of this at all, not even a Happy Birthday. it was very quiet too for a wednesday night.
