   Just ok. Expected more ambiance from a HRC and food was disappointing, bland and Luke warm. Very very nice waitress though !

   Great choice for early dinner for small group visiting from UK. Fresh food well prepared and satisfying didn’t have room for dessert.

   My low marks are the meal was ruined because the air conditioning was far too cold. It was like a fridge. We did let the waiter know but nothing changed.

   We arrived and were seated promptly. After around 10 minutes of waiting for somebody to offer us a drink, we were approached and were asked if anybody had taken our order yet; when we said ‘no’, the waitress said it was because we arrived on a shift change and that nobody would take the order because this section was closed. She kindly moved us to another area. In the new area, we waited another 5 minutes before being served. The starters arrived within 5 minutes of being ordered… a little too fast for my liking, especially when food is supposed to be cooked to order. Whilst we were halfway through these, 2 main courses arrived that we had to turn away because they weren’t for us… and we were currently eating. Once we had finished, like the moment we finished, our actual mains arrived. I questioned this and said that we’ve literally just finished and still had the empty plates on the table but this was met with stern looks and a rude ‘do you want it or not?’ response. The waiting staff were mostly stood around the room talking to each other; we had a group of 6 stood to our right just chatting the whole way through our meal and it was extremely awkward and off putting. Then there was the volume of the music… really difficult to hold a conversation. Then there’s the really random mariachi band that walked round the room playing at different tables… they were awesome but soooo loud and everybody just stood around taking photos and videos that we will have featured heavily in because our table was just plonked right in their way… We’ve been to various Hard Rocks around the world, including the likes of Rome, Lisbon, Tenerife, Manchester etc… we thought Times Square would be the best but it’s by far the worst one overall. We are sure to never return to this one again.

   My picky eater kids gobbled up their food and wouldn't stop talking about how great the kid's pizza was! They made me try it, and I agree it was delicious! The fries were crispy, just how I like them and the Smashburgers hit the spot for my husband and me. My 3 year old ordered green beans for the first time ever and loved them! The raspberry iced tea was a hit as well, and overall we had a great time!

   I’ve visited many Hard Rock Cafes around the world and always looked forward to the experience — they’re usually consistently great. Unfortunately, the one at Times Square NYC was a major disappointment. From the start, the atmosphere felt rushed, like the staff just wanted to get rid of us — maybe because we’re teenagers and they assumed we wouldn’t tip much. Our food and drinks arrived quickly, which was a plus, but the burger looked thrown together and unappetizing — nothing like the quality I’m used to at other Hard Rock locations. The fries, on the other hand, were actually very good. Once we finished eating, we were immediately handed the bill. No one checked in during the meal, no one asked if we wanted another drink or dessert — which is usually standard at Hard Rock. And the restaurant wasn’t even busy, so there was no excuse for rushing us out. Then came the surprise on the bill: instead of charging the combo price for the souvenir glass and drink (as advertised), the glass was charged separately. When I pointed this out, the waitress first spent a while arguing why it couldn’t be changed and gave various excuses — before finally correcting it. It felt like they were hoping I wouldn’t notice or bother. Lastly, I understand tipping culture is different in the U.S., but the way it was aggressively pushed — especially after such poor service — was really off-putting. I’ll still visit other Hard Rock Cafes and continue recommending them, but this NYC location is one I definitely wouldn’t suggest.

    We had a nice time but the music was poorly chosen. We thought that it would be Hard Rock but got half-assed pop music.
