Sheila was a great server she made the whole night fun
HAD THE BEST 35TH I COULD EVER WANT! the service was perfect loved the atmosphere and can't wait to go back. Thank you for making my birthday dinner GREAT!!!
Caters to tourists who are willing to pay higher prices for average food.
After being seated and receiving our food our waitress up and vanished. We were left alone for over two hours before someone noticed we were done with our meal. Glasses empty, dirty table. Totally unacceptable service. The manager didn't notice although she had time to socialize at the bar. I had to get up and flag down the bartender to help us. I would not recommend nor will I return to this location.
Terrible service. Food was cold and disgusting. Server was rude, unprofessional and condescending.
My wife & I made a reservation here to enjoy dinner before a Friday night concert across the street. We've eaten at several HRC's around the country, and always had a good-to-great experience. This was probably our least favorite experience of all. The wait for food was too long, despite it not being very busy in there. We had an hour & a half available for dinner, and we were rushed to pay our check & get out of there so we wouldn't be late for the concert. My wife ordered nachos, I ordered fajitas. While both were good in flavor, the nachos came barely luke warm, and the fajitas were flavorful steak on a bed of primarily grilled onions with a few peppers thrown in. If it weren't for the other cold ingredients, the fajitas would've been lousy. Then there was the live music - so bad. The young gentleman with his guitar & amp didn't have a clue about how out of tune he was. Even though he stopped to re-tune 3 or 4 times, he missed the mark every time. My wife & I and our 4 sons are all musicians; she & all of our kids have gigged out in public countless times. We have a big heart & a lot of grace for people (especially young people) who are out there trying to share their music. But, this guy's out-of-tune playing was an annoyance our entire time there. Of all of our dozens of HRC experiences around the country, this was the worst. Disappointing.
Unfashionable menu and food of average quality. If Rock memorabilia is your draw, go have a beer.
Food was pretty good, you definitely go to a Hard Rock for the ambience above all. But the staff at this location was WONDERFUL!!! From the hostess, to our waiter, and even other waiters not serving us, everyone was very friendly. They were even able to make my husband's absolute favorite burger, even though it's been off the menu for like five years. Totally made his night!! And it was my birthday, and I received a yummy sundae.
Great dinner , especially the garlic pesto fries ! Very friendly staff and management
Wasn't expecting to see what we did compared to other Hard Tock Cafes.
Place was small and felt like the corner sports bar
Loved that the Hard Rock Cafe had a menu for Thanksgiving as well as their regular menu. This was my first time eating at this restaurant and I loved it. Great food and staff!
The turkey was a little dry and the food was not very hot. The service was good but took a longtime to get the appetizer and the check
Great food and most important great service! We'll definitely come back!
My experience at the Hard Rock Cafe - San Diego was totally positive. From the time I walked in the door all of the staff we're totally positive and helpful and my server continued that theme, she was very attentive making sure all of my dining needs were met. The food was good but not gourmet, but I wasn't expecting gourmet. I had a good time. It was a positive experience. I would recommend the Hard Rock Cafe - San Diego to any of my friends. It was a positive and enjoyable experience.
We had to wait like 45 for tables to clear up even though we had a reservation. They gave us free appetizers as an apology so I'm not complaining. Over all great service once we were seated and the waitress was fun.
All of the servers were wonderful but spending $80 for 2 entrees, one appetizer and 2 drink..... I expected above average food and that is not what we got. Mediocre fajitas, especially living in San Diego, you expect a little more out of Mexican food. Mac and cheese was good but the chicken was very dry.
Went there for my birthday with a friend I use to work with downtown had a great time, my kind of music, roack and loud. Had a great time. Monday Night Football was on. Had some shots, entrees and desert. Overall a great birthday...Our waitress was the best..
Great hostess and waitress! Supper friendly. Treated my 11 yr old son like young man
3 of us had dinner here recently. My wife and son thought their meals were good but I thought the ribs I had were only OK, not a lot of meat and what was on there was probably over-cooked. Didn't really like the brownie sundae for dessert either, the brownie was at the bottom of a large goblet and you had to eat a lot of ice cream before you could even get at the brownie. Always great to view all of the memorabilia though.
The service was good, the food was ordinary and overpriced. Not our cup of tea.
Fun place, great food! Wayne was a very knowledgeable & attentive server. Food was served promptly & was very appealing. Staff in shop was also fun to shop with & provided top-notch service.
This restaurants was empty and the menu offered few choices. Staff was friendly but did not provide great service. Disappointed.
Unfortunately the service was VERY slow. The waitress was amazing, but it took a long time to get our food. Some food in our group was cold, too. We had a burger that still had pink when asked for well done AND it was cold.
The server Jennifer was awesome! Went here for my birthday dinner and had great drinks and food. The twisted Mac and cheese, and the jumbo sampler are must haves. It was probably half full and the timing was quick so it was a good experience.
Service was very slow and restaurant was not crowded. Food was overcooked and dry. Would not recommend this anyone.
Awesome place to eat. Food was amazing and service was quick, helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend Hardrock for anyone on dates or group of friends.
Tony took care of us well.
Please improve the taste in food. Burgers were ot good.
The seasoned fries are to die for!
We had a beautiful night out and really enjoyed the Hard Rock. Our server was perfect.
Crossed another Hard Rock Cafe off of my son's list.
Went to Hard Rock Christmas Day.Food was just as good as we experienced in Hawaii. I ordered the Veggie Leggie...Very good! Service was outstanding!
We enjoyed our Christmas evening meal here and had a great time. Food was good and we had excellent service.
We planned to eat at the Hard Rock for Christmas dinner unfortunately they had ran out of the holiday meal before our reservation time which was a bummer. The also have a small menu which was a little let down too. We decided to eat there anyway (I mean come on where you going to eat w/o a reservation on Christmas day?) and WE ARE GLAD WE DID!
The food was fantastic! From the salmon, to burger, to the ribs right down to the kids plate! everything tasted so yummy!
Service was awesome; fast and courteous!
They don't have descriptions of the new drinks! WTF? What's in it? How much is it? Is it warm or cold?
Our server, Hooper, was great!!!! He along with the Staff ensured my birthday dinner was one of the best! Thank you!!
Booked on a Sunday night as the website promoted live music. There was none.
Was served iced water and the bottom of the glass literally fell out and I was left covered in water and soaking wet. Initially all the waitress did was laugh and my reaction soon helped her realise it was not funny! The manager came to apologise and offered to pay for a round of drinks.
The drinks we ordered took forever to arrive which was surprising as the restaurant was empty.
Food was lovely!
I ordered the Salted Caramel with Popcorn Latte for dessert. When it was bought out there was no popcorn. I asked where it was to be told there was non left - something I should have been advised when I ordered. Just as I was finishing my dessert the manager reappeared with a bowl of popcorn... Too little too late!
I advised that we were staying at the Hardrock Hotel which should have resulted in a 20% discount which we didn't get.
Food was lovely but too many other issues to recommend or consider coming back.
Reservations didn't mean a thing to the very rude hostess. She actually told us we could probably find someplace else to get dinner faster. After calling a manager over we were seated. Waitress was awesome. Our food tasted like someone had poured a ton of salt on it. The place is fun to look at, but that it. I wouldn't go back again. Tourist trap.
Our service was good not great. While at your restaurant we ordered one appetiser and two main dishes. We ordered nachos for the appetizer and the chip were burnt with very and I mean very little toppings on them. Not to mention I've been to several hard rocks around the world and they didn't even offer any salsa with the nachos. That was a first. For our main course meals we ordered two different hamburger meals. For starters they were both burnt and one of them was not even the right burger. They were offering three different types of French fries and when we got our order the one we got were not the ones we ordered. Overall I would have to say worst food I have ever been served at a hard rock restaurant.
