Sat outside. Great atmosphere. It was busy. Staff seemed overwhelmed from moment we checked in. Checked in 3 minutes before our reservation was told we would have to wait or sit outside. I feel they had overbooked.
There were 8 of us and some of the individuals could not make up their minds. Our server kept it all together and was the best. Thank you
Unfortunately, our waitress spilled our waters when she got to the table. She had too many on her tray. She needed to make two trips. No one was hurt and it was only water, so no stains.
Also, unfortunately, the outside fountain was not working! I brought this group of out of town visitors to your restaurant especially for the fountain! We were able to eat outside and it was a lovely evening, but I would have been able to show off our City even more if the fountain would have been working. By fountain, I mean the fountain outside of your restaurant, not the fountain at the Point.
Great overall experience and show!
We had a party of 12 after my daughters college graduation, our service was wonderful. Food came out quickly and our waiter (Jason) was great ! such a wonderful personality and was so attentive to our table.
As always, our visit was awesome. I have been a diehard HRC fan and customer for well over 30 years.
Not many people in still took a while to get served once finished the mains no one cleared the table and without asking they brought me the bill
I then said oh sorry we would like a desert
Ok no problem sir left the desert menu we ordered then it was served on the table while the left overs from the main course where all still sat on the table!!!
I had to ask for them to be cleared away and was just a rubbish experience in general
And also didnt have the only vegeterian burger on the menu the impossible burger...
We had GC that we didnt realize were expired, but were accepted anyway. That was extremely important, considering a family of five on a weekend trip can get pricey!!!!
This was the second time we were here and sad to say the last. Our server kept messing up by forgetting things we requested and our food came out warm, not hot.
4/19 update- the GM reached out to me and asked we give them another try. Next time we are in Pittsburgh, we will try it again. It did make me feel good that not only does management read the reviews, they act on them.
Friendly staff , great burger and club sandwich and a couple beers before the opener at PNC Park
Great way to start our day
We had reservations and ran into traffic and were running late, they not only held our table, but pushed our reservation time back for us twice. We waited less than 3 minutes to be seated, and inside of 5 minutes,we were being tended to by our wonderful waitress. The service was top notch, other employees were friendly seemed to care about our experience. The food was amazing, prepared properly to each order, and the price was tolerable. The displays were less than impressive however with only two KISS items on a night that they were playing a historic show in the city, seems a little odd.Overall great experience,my only gripe was the lack of spectacular items
We had a wonderful family lunch and our server was excellent!!!! She did any outstanding job!!!!
The Hard Rock Cafe is a fun dinning experience, booked my table early for the evening concert. I have a disability and can't stand, so this is a great way to guarantee a seat. Plus you order food and drinks, enjoy friends, listen to great music. Also the gift shop has a variety of little items to take home as a momento. I always have fun when I go there.
There wasn't a big menu, everything was pricey. Even though the place was empty service took forever.
Obnoxious crowd. Just not my style. Probably won’t go back.
Enjoyed the meal and the show. The front desk seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. I later found out that they reported me to Opentable for not showing but we were there!
I reserved the first table on the left by the stage way back in December. I arrived at the hard rock on Friday March 1st a little after 8 for our reservation to find out that my group had already checked in. Well funny part is that my group was all in line with me. Three people were sat at our table and at first the staff wasn’t going to do anything about it. I threw a fit about it because our friends were playing on stage that night and that’s the reason why I reserved that table so far in advanced. After 20 minutes of me demanding that the people who were sitting at the table needed to be moved the staff finally listened and moved them to another table. This problem should have never occurred and I was upset that they looked at me like I was being crazy. Other then that the food, our waitress, and the music was outstanding. I am just disappointed with how the problem was handled at first and that they didn’t at least take a few dollars off our meal or something for the inconvenience. They never even had anyone come over to apologize.
Great server —
We were there for the music so we expected it to be loud. Not a great view of the stage from our table, but had a monitor that we could watch. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. Loved the entertainment and the friendliness of the staff!
All was ok until the band took the stage. Very loud.
Great table, good food and drinks. Waitress was a bit too busy and distracted.
Nice waitress. Live entertainment was good. Cost of drinks made us go somewhere else instead of staying there.
The service was fantastic. The food was not that great. I ordered my steak medium rare, it was very rare didn’t seem cooked.
It took 2 hours to get 3 small meals for me and my daughter and husband
All good. Although cold in the back room.
Great waitress. Attentive and friendly.
For a few months HRC had added a barbecue sandwich to their menu. Just recently someone decided to change the recipe for the barbecue. It was tough and didn't taste like barbecue at all.
In the past I have eaten it in Las Vegas, Chicago and New York City. Well the folks in Pittsburgh took a good thing and ruined it.
Meeting with children
It was a fun night out. The only problem was the seating arrangements. We were seated at the wrong table (#41) because the people who occupied our reserved table (#42) would not leave. Fortunately there was a table available adjacent to our reserved table and with some reluctance the manager let us take it. His decision and reluctance surprised me considering he was unable to relocate the group that occupied our reserved table (#42). Petty you might think but our reserved table was directly in front of the stage and we were seated second table out and hemmed in. Anyway, seems like reservations are not necessary at Hard Rock. We did enjoy the band.
Very accommodating for accessibility. The food was fantastic. The sound for the concert, however, was fair. Very hard to hear the vocals on the floor in front of stage.
I was so disappointed when we arrived! I made reservations through here for 10. When we arrived we were placed at 2 booths back to back. Unacceptable! I asked to be moved and was told there was no other place for us. I asked to speak to the Manager on duty and he was far from being sympathetic. I will never make reservations again to go back there. This was suppose to be a fun evening with great discussion over dinner with my Youth Group but how are you suppose to have fun and a discussion when you are split up and cannot even see each other. Answer=Impossible and disappointment.
I really appreciate that they accept reservations. This is especially important when meeting friends and a long wait is undesirable. Nice time out. I would recommend this restaurant.
The worst new year ever, not to mention the charged my credit card for a table for four when there was only two of us.the manager was a joke,he said he would take care of it when we first arrived but never saw him the rest of the night.very bad management,I felt like the manager scammed more people other than myself.
Used opentable to make a reservation for 7 people at 730p on NYE. Get there and they ask if two 4 tops by each other are okay. I should’ve said no. Why could I make the reservation if they couldn’t accommodate it? The way we would’ve been sitting was back to back also, not side by side. The service was mediocre as staff was distracted with getting ready for their NYE party but if they were attentive we would’ve been gone by 9, not 930. Very subpar experience.
There were 13 of us on New Years Eve day. The food was very good as was the service.
Using opentable to book is the way to go, as if we didn't it was a 45 minute wait. Booking with opentable we got seated right away. The waitress was really nice and didn't pressure us as we were hanging out to watch the Pens game and do the Coors light night. We won some prizes through the Penguins which was cool, but the waitress also accidentally rang up two of my husbands beers and so she just gave him the one free. We got the brownie sundae which was delicious. Then as we were wrapping up to leave, the manager came over and thanked us for being a nice table and gave my 3 year old son a Hard Rock bear stuffed animal. Made it a great ending to the night.
Good meal and our first time at this location. Would eat there again.
The food came out cold. It was sent back and did come out hot after it was put into the microwave. The cold food was 4 of the 6 entrees. The other 2 entrees were salads. The prices were very high. We will not be returning.
My Mom died earlier this year, so my Dad and I ate Christmas Day dinner there...I was surprised they were open, but I was thankful that they were...I requested, when I made the reservation, to have a window seat. When we arrived they did just that....they gave us a nice seat where we could see the skyline, river, trains came by, we watched tourists taking photos, etc...It kept our minds off our sadness, and the fact that she wasn't with us...I really appreciate what they did for us...meant a lot to both my Dad and I...
The visit to Hard Rock on Christmas Day was a great respite from moving and packing. However it would have been helpful if we would have known the timing of the Christmas meal.
All in all it was better than eating at home from take out.
