Has a late lunch here this past Saturday. Excellent experience! Food and service was right on point! Excellent location right on Bourbon Street could hear a band outside that truly gave this cafe that local feel. What sets this cafe out is the manager. He was visible and engaged with both his customers and his employees. Will definitely go back when in the area.
Hard Rock there for whether you want a grand meal or an easy, smaller one. Either way, your food is delish and so are the drinks.
I was greeted with a very friendly hostess. It all went down hill from there. I have found that "table for one" usually is taking that person and seating them in the worst spot in the restaurant, and they did not fail me. Sitting in bar area, and having the bartender wait on me, who was very cold and not helpful at all, I was not offered the coolinary menu I came for orginally, but decided on a salad. The food was very good, but other than being almost thrown a second ice tea, was never asked if I needed anything or was everything good. Watched employee's ignore the management, and be rude to them, along with a mad house at the bar. Sad because I have a second home here, and like to, especially at this time, spend my money in the French quarter helping the economy. Even in the dead of the "tourist" section, I have had a better experience at this location in the past. Maybe should stick with lunch rather than dinner here. I think in next question....would you recommend, there needs to be a maybe button
This is just plane old fun dining! The memobelia is just fantastic! The food is Hard Rock! Burger, pulled pork!!
Dont worrk about socisl distancing they have got ya vovered!!
Facial pics with temp scan. contact tracing. life is good!!
Had a BLST!
Shelby was an amazing server! He was working hard to get our table and all his other tables served. He apologized for the wait and got all of our food out in good timing. The only thing that needs fixing was the spicy mayo. Definitely was not the normal sauce they have had in the past. The inside of the cafe is amazing and the shop had a good selection of items. Thank you for a wonderful visit!
I did not like the fact they didn't have any heavy medal sauce to toss my chicken torpedoes. I wish this item never was removed from the menu but restaurants i been to previously have had heavy medal sauce and accommodate me, but at this location in New Orleans, I had to eat my chicken torpedoes with regular hot sauce which I didn't enjoy as much.
Very nice display items. Delicious food. Friendly staff
They are doing an amazing job to help keep covid 19 at bay! We were thrilled to see how the staff upheld new policies. Thank you!
Very good food and service. Music brought back great memories of the 80s
Amazing experience as always.
Our server was fabulous, the food was great, & we felt very safe & secure that precautions were being taken to keep us as safe as possible in terms of COVID.
We should have known that with the Hard Rock opening up after being closed that the food quality would suffer. I have been a long time patron of the Hard Rock chain visiting over 20 locations. This was the first time I was genuinely disappointed. The quality of our food was t very good. The blue cheese flaked steak salad had very little blue cheese, and the steak was very, very chewy and we were not able to eat the entire salad. The ribs were overcooked and dry. Very disappointing.
The waitress did a wonderful job! The food wasn’t good for the price. I don’t think that they did a bad job with cooking, I think that the food just lacks flavor. The menu lacks. The vege burger was the only good thing. It was off the chain.
Our alcoholic drinks were terrible. Mine was a rum drink, blended. Not a good flavor and almost no alcohol.
Took over 45 minutes to get two hamburgers. When we were finally served, everything was luke warm. Beverage service was prompt but that was the only thing.
The hostess acted like we were interrupting her when we arrived and couldn't have acted less motivated to seat us even though we had a reservation. The 2 of our 5 meals were not warm and 1 of the 5 was completely wrong. We were in New Orleans for 5 days and this was the only bad experience we had... eat somewhere else.
On the Thursday after Fat Tuesday we found the place fairly empty for lunch and wondered why. Well, because the service is really bad, no attention, doesn’t check back, food service super slow,
Not what I’m used to from Hard Rock.
Had the fajitas and they were excellent!
This location of Hard Rock Cafe is unfortunately subpar to other locations I have visited. It was small and seemed like an unpopular place to eat. It was, however, a great place for my son to have a safe, gluten free meal. He has Celiac and was able to eat there without getting sick.
Great music very energetic
Food was mediocre and service poor...hardly saw our waiter.
The service was first class, the food was outstanding and I loved the fact you can buy merchandise to remember your trip there
The food was great we could hear the music from outside which was great and the staff was awesome!
Mojito tasted weak and "Off flavor", But it was replaced with a Hurricane (sans the Mango) which was very good.
Food was excellent!
Outside Street Jazz Band played extra Loud, which overwhelmed the music inside.
New Year’s Eve
Orders Wrong, ling time to get drinks (30min)
No tools when food came. Added orders missed
If your not a meat eater I don’t suggest the impossible burg
Overpriced swill at best. It was Christmas Day. I assume the waitress we had wanted to work. It's good tip money, especially on the holidays. But after 14 straight amazing meals in New Orleans, our Christmas Day dinner sucked! Our waitress lacked total enthusiasm for being there. We were on the pay no mind list once our food was served. The ribs were awful. Overcooked and dry. Fries all around were cold. Kids and wife had burgers. Five Guys would have been better. Overcooked meat hidden between bread and fixings. Meh. Just an awful experience having eaten at several other Hard Rock Cafes around the country. After having so many other good meals in NOLA, this one left us with a really bad taste in our mouths. The most expensive meal was the worst. Go figure. Plenty of other spots to choose from... with live music to boot.
Excellent employees! We went on Christmas Day and have nothing but positive things to say about the hostesses, server, and bartender. They did an excellent job.
We always enjoy eating at the Hard Rock when we visit new cities. Location is great, food is delicious, and service is good. Thank you!
Food and service were great. I had the special Thanksgiving meal and the portions were extreme
We were at The Bourbon Street Hardrock Rock Cafe on Thanksgiving Day it was very busy on our waitress was very attentive and she checked on my wife's food allergies to make sure none of the food coming out of the kitchen would affect her. The food was delivered extremely quick. We had the Thanksgiving Day meal the turkey was very moist the dressing was very good so was the cranberry sauce waitress even brought us out some extra gravy. Overall the experience was very enjoyable.
We have been to multiple Hard Rock locations and the New Orleans location was very disappointing. The service was very, very slow. Waited almost 25 minutes to get water and order. The server was nice but inefficient. The food quality was below other locations. Will be come back to this location next time we are in NOLA, absolutely not.
Joshua took great care of us! You guys killed it on the impossible burger. KILLED ITTTTTTT!!!!
I loved the atmosphere. It was not too busy during our visit. The food came out hot and it was delicious.
The atmosphere was rather dreary for being on Bourbon St. Service was ok
Too expensive for type of food served. Kids menu is a joke.
I had a reservation, so we didn’t have to wait. Nevertheless, once at the table, they forgot about us. No life music that day. One of the poorest experiences at Hard Rock restaurants.
Pamela was a wonderful, efficient, and friendly server. The food was great, drinks awesome, and the atmosphere was fun, especially since the restaurant is on Bourbon St.
It’s loud in there but it’s New Orleans who cares 😀
