Tonight was TERRIBLE at this restaurant with a view, ok food, but terrible service and horribly managed. My entree arrived 80 minutes after my seating. My salad was delivered to the wrong table. The manager was inattentive to a nearby solo diner who was having a bad experience also. My server dazed and confused. The worst was this: the dining room was not over filled and there was plenty of staff walking about without much sense of purpose. Thankfully the second manager provided me a gift card as an apology and comped my meal. People might be drawn to the restaurant for the view, but I would urge future diners to stay far away.
Can't beat the city views on a gorgeous patio overlooking the harbor. Brunch was delicious, and good value for a loaded lobster omelette. That said, I do think a bit overpriced for regular breakfast food.
Harbor fireworks lovely on beautiful night at this hidden gem.
Our server Craig was the best. He was extremely friendly and did an outstanding job.
We went there for my birthday expecting something special. First the food was just okay and no seafood except for calamari as an appetizer. It was a beautiful day but windy and they insisted we sit inside. We sat by the window but it was very hot. We finally took our drink outside when we were finished eating and wished we had been out there the entire time Maybe the waitress would have lost a table ? It was supposed to be my big birthday celebration and I was very disappointed
The best aspect is the view of Boston Harbor, whether you sit outdoors or inside. There is also a paved path that runs along the harbor just steps outside of the restaurant, which is a nice place to take a walk after a meal. I felt safe walking alone there as the sun went down. Service and food were a little hit-or-miss, but I would still go back.
Awful experience. Waited almost an hour for “lobster sliders”, which were 3 hunks of bread with a tiny sliver cut out and literally less than 1 tsp of lobster in each one. Looks nothing like the pictures on yelp. Not sure if they ran out or what? Never again.
Food was absolutely delicious and the view of Boston Harbor was five star !!
Service (waiter named Isa) was excellent. Mussels were delicious and very tender. Wine list is nice, but expensive. Views onto the harbor are pleasant, but vary depending on the time of day and the weather.
I wrore note about view side of table, it was important for us because it was speacil day however service was not care about my note. They showed us a table which was very bad location. I preferred this restaurant because of nice view and I paid nearly $100 for dinner was side of the sink. Food was good but not recommended because of careless customer service
I had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back in the future when the patio will officially be open for outdoor serving. The harborside view and setting accompanied with beautiful weather made my visit alongside my birthday celebrating company very enjoyable. The staff were friendly, polite and genuine as well. Nothing even moderately close to a complaint on my end.
Take my comment with a grain of salt as I had a unpleasant experience, but I saw others having a splendid time, my server was non existent, he took 15 minutes to get our drinks from the table and order at the bar, then an additional 25 minutes to order food, never had the complimentary table bread (just annoying) and then never came for the check or to take plates away, the manager had to get involved and be the waitress (she got the tip) other servers looked like they did phenomenal. Food was amazing. Chicken and scallops are to die for.
Food was delicious! Ambiance was Beautiful and the staff is super nice. Compliments to chef!
Wonderful location, food and service. The place needs some glitter, some interior design improvements. Looks a bit bland for such a view and location
Hyatt cares about quality, unlike most hotel chains. Cage free eggs are used as well as grass fed beef, at least in their hamburger. Prices are somewhat high but this is typical of hotel dining. I would recommend eating at this restaurant if you are staying at the Hyatt Boston Harbor although I would not make a special trip for the purpose of eating there.
I wish it was closer to down town Boston. The Harborside Drive address is very misleading because restaurant is located at Hyatt at Logan Airport. Coming from the south one has to pay toll coming to and going from restaurant. I wouldn’t return except if I was spending the night at hotel.
This restaurant was delightful. Beautiful view. Good food at a great value. Terrific service from Andrew, our server. Enjoy!!
It was great. The view from the restaurant was amazing.
Given as a gift. Host did not seem happy that we had a coupon gift certificate. Drinks were extremely over priced. Food was just ok. Service was just ok. There are so many places in Boston that I would rather have spent $150 at and had a better meal and experience.
We were delighted by the service, as well as the beverages and food at the Harborside Grill. The sunshades closed a little too early, and the staff were quickly able to redeploy them before the setting sun became too annoying.
Beautiful view of downtown Boston, our server Andrew was excellent and very attentive, food was fabulous but a little pricey, would definitely go there again
Welcoming, attentive wait staff and well prepared food.
Our appetizers and salad were terrific the main meal was just OK . My steak was a little tough. The servers aim to please . the view is fantastic .
"What a view!!" Andrew our waiter made the night enjoyable. He was charismatic and attentive to us the whole night. He even brought over a sample of their clam chowder which by the way, was to die for! The food and drinks were excellent! I'm glad I had the octopus as my appetizer, it was tender and well seasoned. I can't wait to go back during the Spring and Summer. They have an outdoor patio with live bands and sunsets that are one of a kind.
The evening was perfect- great food, awesome service and spectacular view!!
View was amazing and food completed the night.
Great place with delicious meals recommended to everyone
The portions were extremely small. The quality was also poor. Can’t believe this was rated 4 out of 5 stars. Huge disappointment! Will never go back nor recommend.
The mussels were very good but about 5 of them weren’t really open but the fish was tasteless and the polenta fries were bland could be served with maybe a basil dipping sauce or a choice of dipping sauces . It is a great place for a drink
Usually very good.....food was very greasy last night. Server at the bar was wasn’t the best we’ve had by far, she seemed like she was doing us and others a favor. We love the Hyatt and the Harborside Grill....seemed a bit clunky on this most recent visit.
Donna is a fabulous server! The new menu is absolutely terrific.
New Years Eve in years past here has been better. The menu was not broad enough this year and the staff was not as friendly as usual. In years past the wait staff handed out little hats, dimmed lights , and allowed access outside to get better photos of the fireworks, and were over all happier. This year was not as festive, wait staff seemed to be just getting by (new management?), and if you touched the door - you were getting yelled at (watched a couple get scolded).
Donna was our server and she was wonderful! Food was delicious and the view was amazing! Great way to celebrate the new year!
The view was amazing while we dined and waited. The service was extremely slow, we were seated for a 6 o’clock reservation, it took forever to put our food order in, my husband had to flag a waitress down to get someone come over to us. We didn’t order appetizers only our main course and food for our kids and we chanced desert and we were there for 2 hours...and the restaurant was not busy at all. We dined early just so we didn’t catch the busy time of New Years Eve. Food was ok not the greatest meal we’ve ever had, but because of the views we would dine again for maybe a lunch.
The food and drinks were excellent! Bartender was very professional! Had a wonderful evening!
The waitress seemed to rush us and didn’t appaear overly friendly. The wings were bland. The lamb as well. I had the salmon and it was just ok. For the cost of the food, it wasn’t worth it or the drive from the south shore.
Setting was very nice
Great views of Boston Skyline
Most employees were very kind and attentive
Server was efficient but not personable
Food was decent but not exceptional
Prices were a bit steep considering quality of food and service.
Went for dinner after we flew in. Was convenient how close it is to Logan Airport . Food and service was good but slightly overpriced. View of Boston was great. Also, did not have reservations and there was no wait time.
Beautiful location and views, great food and service. But price is out of whack ... just how much for noodles??
